The massive moon size planet descended towards the planet’s surface, parting clouds and creating a wild gust of wind that blowed in every direction. As it drew nearer, shock waves were being sent in all directions, causing the ground to crack in many places and explode while the air seemed to shake from the intensity.
Down below, everyone stared up in shock at the gigantic rock that was going to soon drop down on them, unable to move as the fear settled in them and froze their nerves. It appeared that only the members of the Nine Heroes of Legends had recovered enough to attempt a retaliation against it.
Maxwell summoned a Rocket Launcher and fired one shot up at the rock with fearsome force. The missile flew high into the air and exploded upon making contact against the rock, causing wind and debris to fly in all directions. As the smoke cleared, they saw that it put a small dent in the rock, and Maxwell began to launch rocket after rocket, a serious expression worn on his face.
Gram used his flight ability to fly towards the rock and begin his own attempt at splitting it to pieces in order to lessen the damage. However, he soon found out that he was merely chipping away at the edges of the rock while not making a real dent in it, a situation similar to what Maxwell faced.
William began to unleash a barrage of attacks using the bow he held firmly in his hand. He sent arrow after arrow at the rock, firing rapidly and sent well over twenty arrows in a split second. All arrows soared towards the massive object and smashed into its surface before exploding. As the rock slowly cleared through the smoke, the result was the same as the other heroes; dents here and there on its surface.
“Dammit! Can’t you put a dent in it?!” Vikram shouted in a frustrated voice, annoyed at the lack of damage the other heroes were causing it and unsure how he can help them.
“We’re trying!” William shouted back, sweat forming on his face as he continued to unleash a rapid barrage of exploding arrows at the rock with no real progress. “That thing’s far too solid and rigid! We need something… more…!”
“Damn! Not even my Rocket Launcher is doing any damage on it!” Maxwell said, looking at his weapon with a distraught look on his face. “What the hell am I supposed to do? Nuke that damn thing and cause massive collateral damage?!”
“That’s not good, Maxwell!” Natsu said in agreement, trying hard to think of a strategy in dealing with that thing but could not come up with anything.
“How about we make the summoner make it disappear?” Vikram asked, and Natsu immediately jumped onto that idea.
“Good idea, Vikram!” He said, giving him a thumps-up gesture. “Gram, get that guy over there and bring him back!”
“Don’t order me around!” Gram replied in a fierce voice, but he soared into the air and flew towards the place the three-eyed person hovered in the air.
Regnil saw the hero flying towards him and immediately put up a barrier that shielded him from all sides, but he was weakened, and his spell was not as strong as he expected it to be. This was because the moment Gram delivered a powerful slash down at him, the invisible barrier gave way and smashed into pieces with the sound of breaking glass.
“Pathetic!” Gram exclaimed, grabbing the enemy by his clothes and hurling him towards the other heroes.
The force of his throw was incredible, causing Regnil to fly like a ragdoll until he crashed near Natsu, Vikram, William and the humans of that world. Regnil immediately tried to scramble to get back to his feet, but Maxwell was on top of him and smashed his head with his clasped hands and caused the alien to collapse to the ground.
“Stay down!” The Gundas Hero shouted, watching his enemy carefully as he grovelled on the ground while making soft groaning sounds.
Gram flew over to land next to them, and Maxwell held the alien firmly by the shoulders to ensure he does not do anything strange. As they all watched, Natsu walked forward with a serious expression on his face and began speaking to the alien.
“I take it you understand our language,” he said, saying it like a statement than a question because of what he observed previously when the alien seemed to converse with Asura.
The alien did not reply, but he did smirk and this was the clear indication that he understood their language.
“Make that thing disappear,” Natsu demanded, pointing at the rock the size of a moon slowly descending down on them.
At that demand, the alien burst into a hilarious laughter before saying, “Make me.”
“Bastard!” Maxwell shouted, getting angry by the remark.
He released him and quickly went on the offensive, beating the weakened alien black and blue without remorse. Blood spurted from nose, forehead and other parts of the face that started to lose resemblances to the face it once was.
“Enough, Maxwell!” Natsu ordered, causing Maxwell to stop the beating and grip his arms firmly once again.
Regnil was breathing quickly and vomited blood out of his mouth while his head hung weakly from fatigue. Natsu looked down at him and felt a mixture of feelings; one part of him felt a sense of remorse while the other part of him wanted to kill the man for all the damage he had caused. However, he knew this alien must stay alive in order for them to get out of this mess and focused his energy into making the man do as he said.
“If you continue to refuse, you’ll end up facing much more than just a simple beating!” Natsu threatened him in a deadly voice.
To that, the alien burst into an awkward laughter before coughing blood out of his mouth. Then, he looked up at him and replied, “Break my bones, rip my limbs off, and torture me all you want, but I will never do it.”
“You—!” Maxwell began, about to move in to resume the beating.
“Stop!” Natsu said firmly, stopping Maxwell before the enraged hero could do anything. He looked down at the alien with a glint in his eyes and asked in an icy voice, “Why? Your about to commit genocide, killing everyone here and that includes yourself! You know it, and yet… why? Why are you so desperate? Why are you so loyal to your cause?”
The alien looked up at Natsu and stated, “You people are dangerous beings that will interfere in the grand scheme laid out by the Overlord! You are an eyesore to the order he envisioned for all worlds that he conquers. That’s why you and your planet must go.”
Natsu remained silent, taken aback by such a statement while Vikram said, “Damn! That’s suicidal! What is wrong with you aliens?!”

“A suicide attack for the greater good, ah?” William asked in a lowered voice as he was reminded of a certain event in his life that caused him to feel a strange mix of anger and sadness towards the alien.
Gram grabbed the alien and put his sword next to his throat, glaring menacingly into his eyes as he commanded, “Make that thing disappear or else!”
To that, the alien simply shook his head and coolly replied, “I’ll see you in zweiss, you soft skinned filth.”
Natsu’s eyes hardened as he discerned whether the alien was bluffing or not. He found the resolute look in his eyes and the determination to carry out the task at any cost. This immediately registered in him the kind of devotion that the aliens have for their Overlord, one that was powerful enough to sacrifice each other for the apparent greater good.
“Fine. Die with us if you’re so willing,” replied Natsu in a cold voice.
“Argh!” Maxwell became enraged and smashed his fist against the alien’s skull, knocking him out and causing him to collapse dully on the ground. Straightening up, he heaved a deep sigh and asked Natsu, “What now?!”
There was a moment of silence before Gram broke it by saying, “There’s only one person who could possibly do anything in this situation.”
At his words, they all understood whom he was referring to and turned around to focus their attention on Asura. The Solaris Hero, who had watched them bring the alien down, was amazed by the frightened looks on their faces mingled with the seriousness of trying to figure things out.
“So, they’ve brought that alien down, but what good would that do now? The problem is still up there,” he muttered, turning to look up at the descending gigantic rock. He formed a small smile on his face and asked in a quiet voice, “Still, is that supposed to scare me? You’re kidding me…! I fought against gigantic monsters, I faced off against triracial rulers, and I even battled against those that are completely out of the norm. So, something like this is… quite normally actually.”
“But I have a role to fulfil and, frankly speaking, I don’t want to disappoint Lakshman,” thought Asura brightly.
He extended his hand out and clenched it tightly before beginning to surge with incredible power that radiated a golden-red aura that surrounded him. In the next moment, the ground began to shake violently and the pressure in the air thickened, while the wind blew wildly around them and shock waves were sent in all directions. The people were buffeted by him suddenly powering up and fell down to take cover behind whatever shelter they could find.
“He’s releasing an insane amount of energy!” Vikram yelled because of the loud sound the wind made as it blew around them. “This is insane!”
“How can one man have that much power?!” Gram asked with a distraught expression on his face, having great difficulty comprehending what he was feeling. Unable to contain himself, he burst out and yelled, “Just… Just… Who is he?!”
Natsu, who was covering his eyes from the flying dust and pebbles, peaked a little towards the raging power and muttered, “Whoever he is, I’m glad he’s on our side.”
Asura continued to power up rapidly before he steadied his power after reaching a certain level that he was aiming for. Then he shouted, “Multi-Cast: Elemental Coated Armour!”
In an instant, he got surrounded by a fiery form of energy that quickly took the shape of a phoenix. Asura aimed his hand up at the falling rock and, instantly, a large number of energy arms shot out from the energy that surrounded him. They flew towards the descending object and placed themselves firmly on its surface. Each energy hand expanded to a large size until the entire rock was being enveloped by the energy that stretched out from where he stood on the ground.
“This is it!” Asura said confidently.
He put his hands in front of him before exerting his force, causing the energy surrounding the massive rock to push inwardly. Bit by bit, the rock was being crushed while Asura gritted his teeth as he exerted a great amount of energy, power and force into crushing the moon shaped rock until it no longer would pose a threat.
The people watching this spectacle could hardly believe their eyes, nor the fact that a single human was crushing the gigantic rock that seemed as if was summoned by the God of Destruction. Only the members of the Nine Heroes of Legends appeared to be calm and composed to even speak in such a situation.
“Wow…! He’s crushing it! He’s really crushing it!” Maxwell exclaimed in amazement.
“This is… incredible…!” Natsu muttered, staring up at the large rock being crushed with wide eyes.
“What is the secret to his power?!” Gram thought grimly, looking up at the rock and then at Asura.
The Solaris Hero continued to crush the massive rock until it finally reached the size of a mountain, however, it was already several kilometres away from reaching the surface. As he went to heighten his efforts, he suddenly sensed a great disturbance in the flow of energy and saw that the mountain sized rock suddenly emitted violent sparks before it exploded violently.
“Ah!” Asura, along with everyone else, shouted in shock and horror at this unexpected event.
The explosion severed his energy hands from it and sent the broken chunks of rock flying in all directions. At the same time, a large spherical form of energy took place and looked as if it was rigged to explode at any second. Just before it could, however, Asura aimed both of his hands up at it and shouted the only technique he believed would stop it.
“Multi-Cast: Force Field!”
Several magic circles materialised around the large sphere of energy before it exploded while exhibiting a violent flash of light. He exerted his strength and power and kept the magic circles powered up to keep the explosion contained until it would eventually dissipate. However, he was unprepared for the falling chunks of rock that soon rained down on him. Multiple times, he was hit by the rocks in the shoulders, in the chest, on the legs, and in the gut. Even his face was not spared, breaking his nose severally and injuring him greatly when three large chunks of rocks smashed into his head.
Despite the struggle, despite the pain, despite the difficulty, he continued to maintained his effort to keep the Force Field from breaking. His eyes flashed with power, and his Elemental Coated Armour finally started to act in a way to protect its master from further falling rocks. It took him several minutes of keeping up his power and hold over the Force Field from allowing large spherical explosion to hit the planet’s surface before it finally decreased and vanished from sight.
Upon seeing the fruit of his efforts, he relaxed his arms and breathed a deep sigh in relief. Suddenly, his vision spun out of control and forced him to kneel down on the ground, breathing deeply. Then he suddenly vomited a large amount of blood and looked worn out from the difficulty he had faced until then.
“Damn…! That took a lot out of me!” He muttered in a tired voice.
Meanwhile, everyone was looking at him with looks of shock, amazement and fear because he was one man that took down something that could have destroyed their world. None of them could have been able to pull off what he had demonstrated and, that was why, they felt a strange mix of feelings stir within each of them as they looked down on him.
Only Natsu appeared to be behaving contrary to everyone, looking down at the alien and asking, “You’re awake, right? I’m guessing it’s you who caused that rock to suddenly explode and cause so much destruction!”
As everyone turned around, shocked by his statement, the alien lifted his head and grinned up at the hero.
“You’re a smart one, I’ll give you that,” said Regnil weakly. Then he coughed before saying, “It is as you say; I made it explode and hoped to take down that dangerous man over there. Too bad. He still lives.”
“You underestimate your enemy and this is the price you pay,” replied Natsu in a serious voice.
The alien chuckled lightly before coughing some more. When he recovered, he suddenly wore a twisted expression on his face and said, “You’re right. I did underestimate him, but I was also prepared for the worst outcome possible!”
As soon as he said that, there was an enormous release of power from behind them. All of them turned and saw, with shocked expressions, that the large alien ship was being surrounded by a bright glowing light. Energy appeared to be being gathering somewhere at the centre of it, an energy that they sensed was extremely lethal. Without a word between them, they knew what was being planed by the alien ship gathering such lethal energy.
“Oh no! We’re so focused on this thing that we completely forgot about that!” Maxwell shouted in dismay.
“What are you guys thinking?! This is madness!” Vikram shouted, looking between the alien ship and the crouching figure of the alien before them.
Regnil breathed a deep sigh and said, “This… is justice!”
As everyone’s eyes widened in shock, he grinned at them just as the alien ship suddenly exploded. The explosive power caused a blinding light to occur as a massive wave of destruction was being spread in all directions. Buildings were decimated in an instant and the ground was being destroyed as the wave kept digging in a downward angle as well. Even Asura could do nothing but watch as the blinding light from the massive destruction swept towards them.
