Having finished transforming and stabilising his power, the fusion warrior stood in a ready position to take on his enemy. Lakshman, who was in possession of the fusion body, closed his eyes and thought as he made conversation with the fairy.
“Miss fairy, how much time do we have left right now?”
She was taken aback by his sudden question before she replied, “About five minutes.”
“Only five minutes left!” Vikram exclaimed, sounding horrified.
“That can’t be!” Maxwell said through gritted teeth.
“That’s not enough time to defeat him!” William said with concern.
While they were panicking and worrying, Lakshman remained calm as he replied, “It’s fine. I wasn’t trying to defeat him.”
“What?”
“Huh?”
“Pardon?”
Lakshman ignored their surprised voices and reopened his eyes as he thought, “Miss fairy, please call out on the mark.”
He was referring to when it truly becomes five minutes, and the fairy nodded nervously while inside the mind of the fusion warrior. The others appeared to be either confused or bewildered by this strange exchange between the two of them. Natsu and Ward, on the other hand, were calm and appeared as though they could tell something was going on beyond their reasoning. However, they chose to watch as the events unfolded by keeping their silence.
“You know, fusion or whatever you are,” began Climax casually, “earlier when you fought, I couldn’t feel your power, but now, I feel it. That’s good. Very good, indeed, but what good does it do when you’re facing an immovable object? Rather, what hope do you have when you’re facing your doom?”
The fusion warrior remained silent before Lakshman, using his body, moved his mouth and spoke saying, “Even if it leads to the end of us, we will still fight till the very end… like heroes.”
“Oh?” Climax remarked in surprise while widening his eyes in amazement. Then he let out a loud laugh and clapped his hands for him before replying, “Bravo. So much bravo, I just wish I could say the same about your chances of victory. Oh!”
At that moment, he momentarily looked thoughtful as if he was thinking of something. Then he grinned and said, “Well then. Let’s do this.” He suddenly appeared as though he had dropped all guard and said, “Out of generosity for making me feel at least excited by your sudden rise in power and transformation, I, the God of Calamity, Climax, have chosen to give you, unnamed warrior, a chance in lifetime to hit me… with all you got.”
The fusion warrior looked at him in surprise while the other heroes responded with similar expression of, “What?!”
“Now, don’t treat this as something like a prank that I would turn against you. I’m being serious. I’m a God, one of the strongest Gods there ever existed since the dawn of the beginning. So, you should feel honoured to receive this opportunity.”
He suddenly coughed twice and looked arrogantly at him as he added, “Mind you, I’m only giving you this chance since you threw the meteor I had conjured earlier at my face and managed to injure me, even if it was slightly. So, don’t hold back, and come at me with all you got.”
“Bastard!” Vikram exclaimed inside of the fused warrior’s mind, glaring angrily at the screen displaying their enemy.
“Wow. So rude!” William snarled, glaring angrily at the screen.
“This somehow is making me feel very angry,” admitted Maxwell while clenching his fists tightly and looking menacing.
“Man…! He’s so… unbelievable…!” Martin muttered vaguely.
“Let’s stay strong together! We can do this!” Fred said in a determined voice, looking seriously at the screen.
“Chances are slim, but…” said Ward and trailed away as he looked at the scene with serene interest.
“As long as we have hope, there’s no way we’re going to lose!” Natsu said in a firm voice with a determined look on his face.
Gram was angered by the God’s arrogance, but he felt a strange sense of calmness surrounding him and his fellow comrades. He glanced sideways at Asura and saw that he was smiling almost as if he was enjoying this moment.
“That fool wouldn’t know what hit him,” remarked Asura with a chuckle. Then he asked the fairy, “Hey, pixie, how many seconds left?”
The fairy decided to ignore the term he used to call her with and replied, “Almost there…!” Then she began counting down by saying, “Ten… Nine… Eight… Seven… Six…”
Outside, as the fused warrior remained calm and motionless in his fighting stance, Climax chuckled, “Come on. I’m waiting,” and he beckoned him with a hand gesture.
Lakshman remained clam and composed, and clenched his fists tightly and closed his eyes as he listened to the countdown.
“Five… Four… Three… Two… One…” and she took a deep breath and shouted, “Go!”
The moment her shout reached him, the fused warrior’s eyes flashed open, and he moved so fast that it appeared as though time had stopped between him moving and reaching his enemy. Even before his enemy realised what had happened, the fused warrior reached him and, with his clenched fists pulled back from the rush, he unleashed it straight towards the side of the God of Calamity’s face.
The impact appeared to be soft, but the force unleashed from it was so incredible that a large portion of the ground around them sank and broke away while an intense shockwave was sent in all directions. In the next moment, Climax was blasted off his feet, and he continued to soar through the air while flipping around wildly, hitting his head on the ground several times before he managed to straighten his crash and land on his feet.
“What?!” He exclaimed from the pain stinging on the side of his face, and he looked to where his enemy was at.
However, his eyes slowly widened when he suddenly saw his enemy appear before him, only centimetres separating them. He was in a position that put his body in a diagonal position, and his head was lowered, but his eyes were staring at him with such intensity that Climax momentarily faltered.
Upon reaching him, the fused warrior delivered a left-hand power punch straight into the enemy’s stomach. Once again, the impact was so powerful that a fierce shockwave was unleashed in all directions while the ground was destroyed around them. Flowing with the momentum, Lakshman moved the fused warrior and delivered another power punch with his right fist while pulling his other arm back as he readied to deliver another power punch into the enemy’s gut.
Like this, Lakshman unleashed a fierce barrage of fists that looked as if he was delivering a handful of punches when, in truth, he was delivering over a thousand punches in a single second. His enemy was being battered around like a rag doll from this fierce beating as he could not find the opportunity to retaliate caused by the intense pain he was searing with.
After countless punches, Lakshman surged with power, took aim with his hands, and fired a massive wave of destruction at his enemy. It engulfed the God of Calamity and soared high into the air, causing the sky to turn a deep shade of the colours of the wave that rocketed into the sky.
As it went away, the fused warrior powered down and began glancing around to where when he detected his enemy and, at the same time, heard a tremendous roar from his enemy.
“UUUUURRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!!”
There was a sudden billow of wind that cleared away the smoke drifting everywhere while bringing Climax into clear view. He appeared to be very angry as he glared at him with a deadly look on his face. In the next instance, Climax waved his hands at him and caused a large mass of black balls of energy to appear out of thin air and soar towards the fused warrior like bullets, except these were extremely fast.
Seeing the attack coming, the fused warrior held his hand out and exerted his powers, causing an invisible like force to soar from his hand and fly at the black balls. The moment they clashed, the black balls of destruction erupted and exploded harmlessly while causing further damage to the already destroyed battleground.

Suddenly, from out of the smoke, Climax appeared as he soared straight towards his enemy with a furious look on his face. At the same time, the fused warrior clapped his hands in front of him and activated his powers without saying a word. This created an instantaneous flash of light so bright that it blinded everything in sight and made it difficult for the God to see his enemy.
“You won’t escape!” Climax shouted and flew forward, sensing the presence of his enemy in front of him.
In one flowing movement, he pierced his fist straight through his enemy’s chest before his enemy could do anything else. However, instead of hearing him scream from the pain, Climax felt something strange in his hand and was surprised when his opponent suddenly vanished in a puff of smoke.
“What?!” He exclaimed in shock.
It was only for a moment before he quickly recovered and began analysing his surroundings, feeling as though there were suddenly a lot of them surrounding him. A moment later, the blinding light dimmed and disappeared to bring the view back to normal and allowed Climax to see that his enemy had multiplied himself into countless copies in his exact image while surrounding him both on the ground and from high up in the air.
“This is me fighting back!” The countless copies of the fused warrior said, causing his voice to echo around with great volume. “Hope you’re ready to eat dust, Climax!”
With that, all copies of him soared towards him from high in the sky and kicked off the ground to soar towards him. His enemy saw him coming at him with such a large mass of copies and reacted with a smirk of disdain.
“I’ve seen this trickery way too many times to keep count!”
With that remark, Climax raised one finger in the air to his forehead height and said, “Dream Eater.”
In an instant, a small dark ball formed and hovered a few centimetres off his finger before a great number of them were unleashed in all directions. The moment the copies saw the attacks coming, they reacted by extending their right arms out while aiming at it before activating their powers to unleash the same attack on the incoming attacks.
The moment the dark balls were touched by their attacks, they closed in on themselves and vanished from sight. Climax raised his eyes until they were wide open with shock as it had been a really long time since such a thing had happened to his attacks, especially from what he considered where cheap tricks.
“We’re not fake!” The many copies of the fused warrior thundered as they rained down on him.
Climax gritted his teeth and activated his barrier that would certainly block their efforts to bring direct harm to him. However, he was taken by shock when the first copy of the fused warrior lashed his fist out and smashed through the barrier as if it was made of glass and punched him across the face.
He cursed and tried reactivating his barrier, but another fused warrior copy landed and punched him from the other side of his face, sending him reeling. As he did, a third fused warrior copy landed and smashed him from behind that caused him to stumble forward, where another fused warrior copy lashed out with his fist and punch him in the gut, caused him to stumble back onto meeting the powerful delivery of an elbow on his back by another fusion warrior’s copy.
One by one, the fused warrior’s copies came down, and one by one, began beating a single punch to a separate part of their enemy’s body before making way for another copy to move forward to punch him in their stead. Like this, except at an incredible speed, the copies of the fused warrior went on beating as much as they possibly could while being very quick about it.
Climax had his eyes closed and gritted his teeth tightly as if he was trying his best to not leak a moan or a groan from the pain he was feeling from the destructive force behind their punches. However, he grew extremely angry to the point that he surged his powers forward and spread his arms out while letting out a loud yell.
“UUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The released power caused a powerful shockwave that sent all copies flying away from him, but they did not give up. Instead, one part of the flying away group grabbed hold of the one in front of them and swung them around to send them flying back at the God of Calamity.
“Huh?!” Climax exclaimed, seeing a portion of the flying enemies coming back at him instead of going away.
As the copies flew down at him, they raised their hands up and it began pulsing wildly with intense lightning. Just as they landed, Climax waved his hand around at all of them in an effort to destroy them, however, he never thought another group would suddenly land down from the sky and land in front of the group holding the lightning with their hands.
With seconds to spare, this group of copies spread their hands out to either side and blocked the attack with their bodies, causing them to get destroyed in the process. However, this gave chance for the copies holding the lightning to quickly move forward and plant their hands-on different parts of his body, which caused the lightning from their hands to pass through the body contact and onto their enemy’s body.
“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!”
The God of Calamity let out a terrible scream as the incredible lightning with incredible power surged within him from all the copies of the fusion warrior surrounding him. It was a feeling of pain he had not felt in a really, really long time, not since the last time he fought against someone that was a God similar to him.
As the lightning discharge continued, the copies of the fusion warrior began to glow in a bright light as they were filled with incredible energy. A moment later, all of them exploded simultaneously and created a powerful explosion that completely enveloped the God of Calamity, causing the wind to blow wildly while intense shockwaves were sent in all directions.
At the same time, the copies hovering away from the explosion, aimed their hands down at the explosions and fired powerful waves of destruction down on top of where their enemy stood moments ago. The attacks came down and resulted in more explosions that violently shook the ground and destroyed it in that area.
The explosions slowly died down and what was left was a great amount of smoke that was flowing everywhere when a powerful voice yelled, “Disappear!”
From inside the smoke, the God of Calamity surged with power and waved his hand, causing the wind to spread the smoke everywhere and clear the view. Then he retaliated by gathering dark matter like energy in his hands and spread his arms out wide. As he did, many deadly dark balls flew everywhere at an alarming speed. The moment they made contact with the opposing target, the ball would instantly increase in size and consume its prey before closing in on itself and vanishing from sight.
Like this, many of the copies of the fusion warrior were destroyed before they could do as much as put up a fight. Even those in the sky attempted to cancel it, however, their magic failed, and they also ended up being swallowed up by the dark balls. As one by one, the copies vanished were consumed and vanished, one of those consumed balls suddenly exploded before the real warrior burst out of the shell and descended to land firmly on his feet, staring at his enemy.
Climax let out a sigh before he smiled and said, “Very good! Excellent even! It’s been a very long time since I was reminded of such pain! Truly remarkable!”
“I don’t need your praise,” replied Lakshman, speaking through the fusion warrior whom he was in control of.
“Indeed,” agreed Climax with a nod of his head, but he still smiled defiantly at him as he said, “but still, I must praise you for you made me do… this!”
In the next instance, he surged with incredible dark powers before he raised his right hand and clicked his fingers. A moment later, the sky around the planet was suddenly covered by many multiple magic circles, which were large and wide. The fusion warrior looked up and saw the magic circles forming before a large rock like object began descending out of them.
“You’ve earned my praise enough for me to use this!” Climax said, spreading his arms out wide and smiling gleefully at him.
Inside the fusion warrior’s head, the other heroes were shocked by what they saw as Vikram exclaimed “Oh no!”
“What the hell?!” William exclaimed in shock.
“Meteor shower, except even deadlier!” Ward muttered while narrowing his eyes, which were filled with concern.
“This is not good!” Maxwell said, staring at it with a worried face.
Martin fell to his knees and looked at the numerous magic circles with the meteors falling down helplessly. Fred did not say anything as she clapped both of her hands over her mouth in shock at the sight of such a devastation heading their way.
“He’s gone and done it now!” Gram said, his clenched fists shaking slightly from the overwhelming feeling he was having upon the sight of such a destructive power.
“Oh my god! What is he thinking?!” The fairy exclaimed, hovering in mid-air and staring at the falling meteors from the sky in shock. “This is a disaster! The planet will get destroyed!”
“Oh? You think so?” Asura asked from the side. They all turned to look at him in surprise, and he smiled at them as he continued by asking, “You seriously believe we’re doomed?”
“What do you mean?” Maxwell asked, looking at him with a serious look.
Asura chuckled and asked, “Don’t you realise who is in control of this body?”
At the raised question, everyone blinked in surprise before realisation dawned on them.
Asura shook his head and turned to face the screen while saying briefly, “Do it, Lakshman.”
On the outside, the fusion warrior nodded his head in response as Lakshman also agreed. He began to surge with power and clapped his hands together while forming a serious expression on his face. As he continued to release his power, the ground began to shake greatly, and its intensity continued to grow rapidly until the entire planet appeared as though it was being shaken like a snow globe.
“Oh? You’re preparing something to stop that, I see,” remarked Climax with a smile, but he soon became angry and said, “but I won’t let it happen.”
He raised his hand and aimed it at him before activating his powers, causing a powerful force of attack to fly towards the fusion warrior. As it came, the fused warrior glared at the incoming attack and as his eyes flashed in a dangerous manner, the incoming attack suddenly got cancelled with the sound of breaking glass.
“What?” Climax asked, looking a little taken aback by this unexpected move from his enemy. Then he calmed down and muttered, “I see. Even while using such power, you’re able to retaliate against me. Then, how about… this!”
With that, he surged with power and kicked off the ground to zoom forward towards him at an incredible speed. It took him less than the fracture of a second to move and reach the fusion warrior, and as he appeared to be coming from the front, he suddenly vanished and appeared right behind him. With a gleeful smile on his face, the God of Calamity extended his hand out as he aimed towards Lakshman’s face.
“Watch out!” The other heroes inside the fused warrior shouted with shock, worry, apprehension and fear.
In slow motion, Climax’s hand move forward as it stretched out and was within centimetres from touching the fused warrior’s flowing golden-red hair with a mix of black in it. However, his hand could not go any further than that because, at that moment, a fist came flying out of nowhere and landed on the God of Calamity’s face.
The force of impact on his face was so strong that Climax was blasted off his feet and shot into the air. He sailed away for several meters before he managed to recover in mid-flight and landed gently. He breathed a sigh and looked towards his attacker with a serious look on his face.
“You shall not distract the hero!”
Those were the words spoken by the attacker, who turned out to be none other than the alien Overlord. He had obviously woken up from being knocked out when the Demigod, Amit, who was also the son of the God of Calamity, was extracted out of him by Asura. Now, the alien warrior stood with his back to Lakshman and faced towards the God of Calamity with an incredible seriousness on his face.
