The being that entered was covered in a black armor from head-to-toe to the point where you couldn't see anything of it. As he walked at a careful pace, a red cape fluttered behind him while the two swords at his right side bounced slightly. He reached the room's center, faced the man on the throne and kneeled.
The man on his throne remained gazing beyond the world without even moving from the arrival of the armored being.
After a short moment, the armored one emitted sound in a gender-neutral tone:
???: Master, one is going to die. Codename: White dragon, Sector: D986.
The man on the throne finally gazed at the armored being and he spoke in a voice that seemed to contain immense power itsself.
???: Which ones are close?
???: Three. Codename: Wurm, Codename: Spectral Warden, Codename: Fireflame Apostle.
???: Send the three then. Collect the White Dragon and the one responsible.
???: I shall pass the orders right away, Master!
The armored being left at the same walking pace as he entered while the man on the throne went back to gazing into the void...

Mere seconds later, in a world filled with lush vegetation, a fierce fight was raging. Or rather a very one-sided attack. Thousands of natives were bombarding a lone being with spells of all kinds. The lone being was moving forward carelessly. Those attacks useless against him.
He was one of the five legendary mercenaries, Wurm.
But just then, before his feet touched the ground, he felt a compulsion to give up on whatever he was doing and do something else. It was such a violent feeling that he couldn't resist it all.
He turned around and let his power explode as he began to rush at top speed towards the closest door...He did not know why he was doing this but he knew he had to.

At the same time, in a giant battleship stationned in the void between worlds, a female being stood at the very front of the ship's deck. Behind her were innumerable jails containing screaming prisonners. Were they guilty? Who knew.

Regardless, at the moment, she felt something. She, who never left her ship, felt that she had to.
For the first time in eons, under the incredule eyes of her hundreds of subordinates, she crossed the door they installed on her mothership.

Inside a giant red copper cathedral, a man was praying alone in front of a statue depicting fire itself. He had remained on his knees for years now, waiting for a revelation.
And then, as if one, he felt the need to move somewhere and do something.
Was it a message from his God? He was not sure but he got up regardless. He walked towards the wall and picked his weapon then exited through the door. Under the eyes of his surprised clergy who bowed as he walked by, he went straight towards the door.

Obviously unaware of any of this, the war was still raging on between Shen and Da On Kai. Shen was slashing away at the army and on a savage killing spree. He cut warriors, cut battleships, cut giant mechanized weapons alike...But more took their place.
And as if this wasn't enough, Da On Kai's domain was showing its true power here. The numerous dead Karvus had left behind their negative feelings. Those feelings were in turn turned to specters by Da On Kai's power. In the end, Shen would need to kill every opponent twice.
Needless to say, this wasn't all about it. After all, Da On Kai's battle potential was built around his Domain's ability. As the specters were born, they were strengthened, armored and given additionnal powers thanks to his own Magics.
That being said, they were still far from enough to make a single dent on Shen. But his Magic was being depleted further and further. It was a true war of attrition against a single man. Unfortunately, he was that man.
The battle raged on, the explosions sounding everywhere around him as the battleship's canons shot towards him regardless of friendly fire. The Karvu were numerous and those who had no consciousness representing most of it. As such, they were pawns worth sacrificing. Or rather, they had no worth to the point where they could be sacrificed without remorse.
That is where this race's strength came from. Their numbers and their lack of care about the death of those numbers. In fact, thanks to their reproductive abilities similar to fishes, they had no reasons to care. If one died, ten more would be born. Not really in fact but that was a saying throughout the worlds. It showed clearly the potential of the race and how dangerous they were.
Faced with them, Shen was slicing. He was moving forward constantly. Until, while slashing in the midst of the ennemies, he received a slash. It was an unexpected slash of a power far beyond what those Karvu soldiers could manage. It was a slash that contained a power as strong as if the slasher was Da On Kai himself.
Unfortunately, Shen wasn't expecting the slash and his last remaining limb was cut off cleanly. As he turned towards the one responsible, he only saw a Karvu like any other. Untl that one smirked.
A Karvu aware of itself had concealed himself inside the army to ambush him... And he had succeeded.
This infuriated Shen to the point where he was ready to focus on it. Yet, before he could, the Karvu in question disappeared by exploding his water-turned body. It was an escape spell.
As Shen was now on his guard, the Karvu appeared next to Da On Kai.He chuckled and told him:
???: Fish brains, uh? We will have a lot to talk about later, Da On Kai.
Da On Kai: Don't be like that, General Kir~ We both know it was a diversion~ Didn't you successfully snatched his last limb? I say the plan worked perfectly.
General Kir: It did. Never would I have thought of concealing myself inside this rabble could. I am so different from them, how did this mighty warrior not even notice? What a surprising twist.
Da On Kai looked at the General Kir with scepticism. He was visually the very same copy as all others, what difference was he on about?
Fucking fish brains.
