CH. 44

The purple powder was a mind altering magical substance. It made everyone more prone to let out their true desires. Most of those were sexual in essence and Tempest had been more than happy to comply. That was not the case for Atem. While both were born from the same Shen's pre-defined set of memories, there personnalities had evolved and differed with time.

As such, Atem was gently discussing Magic with his new interest. A woman magician that went by the name of Cynthia. She was orginally supposed to be killed but he ended up taking an interest in her bright intellect. Fortunately for him, purple powder being a mind magic, was ineffective to those who knew abit of such magic.

Being a real pointure in the domain and literally the creator of that powder, it was not difficult to stop its effects. Not just for himself but for others too. He ended up doing so for that single woman. That being said, he did have to take care of their hostage first. Sending an underage princess into a bunch of orgies was not a line any wanted to cross.

He had put her to sleep with his magic and left in a room that was impossible to access by anyone else. Memories will slowly be forged in her mind. Memories of her with Shen... Since he had left Atem to deal with the whole mess so he could have fun with his flower monster, then he would deal with the aftermath. The aftermath being a young princess in love. He was already anticipating the fun to come.

He was brought back to reality by the charming woman who asked him something about a Magic spell. Right, he was charming her without Magic...That always took so long... Yet the results were always worth the time invested.

And anyways, he had a lot of time considering they had activated the Dome and Tempest had been adamant on using the whole bag of powder...She would soon be his, body and mind, without even having to use magic...again.

...

A very long time later, Lera and Shen had breakfast.

Lera: Why is it still night outside?

Shen: One of them activated the Dome. Fake night sky, illusion-type. Added with the music being played magically and the amount of powder, the party will rage on for a few days.

Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

Lera snuggled closer toShen as she whispered in his ear while carressing him:

Lera: That's nice. More time for us~.

Shen pushed her slightly away after kissing her on the forehead.

Shen: Tell me what happened to this world after we were sealed for now.

Lera: Do you remember Azerty from the Uiop clan?

Shen: Yes. Mind Mages. Students of Atem. I am ashamed that I forgot about it until Atem told me about it.

Lera: So you've read his book.

Shen: I did.

Lera: Then you know everything. He was one of the sole survivors of that purge. Went into hiding like the others but left behind a book. To be honest, it is only due to that purge that I managed to maintain the world.

Shen: Less beings to sustain for the seed meant less strain on it. If it was really reduced as small as you make it out to be, then I guess it entered a dormant state of regrowth.

Lera: It did. Still is. Mostly using the fuel I sacrificed.

Shen: I can spare some but only enough for it to stabilize along the consumption of its fruit. Also, it will have a price. I want to harvest it later. Of course, I won't take too much.

Lera: That's fine.

Shen: And-

Lera: There is an 'and' ?

Shen: There is. And I want you to tell me where the door is.

Lera: I don't know.

Shen: You are the Guardian. I know you do.

Lera: I did. True. But your friends had quite the means. They took it and hide it. Even I can't sense it since they left.

Shen: *sigh* Maybe I should really just slaughter my way to the ones who know...

Lera: What if no one knew?

Shen: That's...actually probable. Why did I even believe they would leave traces? What a fool.

Lera: Such a lovable fool you make~

They embraced each other.

Lera: I remember you saying the party would be on for a few days~

Shen: I certainly did.

...

At the gate, a very angered man was walking in circles. He was the royal emissary. Denied entry twice with the order burnt along, he came back with a third one and a whole platoon of strong knights. Unfortunately for them, the doors were closed and the Dome up.

After hours of unneffective attempts at breaking in, the platoon left and only the emissary remained. He remembered quite clearly what the King had told him when he met him for the third time...

King ???: This is the last time.

It was a threat very explicitly spoken. More than enough to scare the shit out of the poor emissary. His pompous and arrogant demeanor lost along the way. He had now been waiting in front of the doors for more than a day without sleep. As he was still moving around in front of the gate, they opened slightly. A tired Tempest was looking at him.

As the emissary turned around and faced him, a wolfman with bloodshot eyes and dark circles, he jumped in fright.

Tempest: You're a pain in the ass walking back and forth. But I respect your diligence. Come along.

The emissary remained unmoved. So Tempest moved. And before the man could react, he had the wolf's arm along his shoulder and was being led inside. As he crossed the gate, day turned to night and the iron doors closed.

Tempest: Come, let me serve you a drink. They will literally free you of your burdens, my friend!

The party was not going to stop soon.
