Chapter 547

Chapter 547:

They had finally seen her true colors — Allison was no meek lamb. She was a predator, through and through.

Melany stumbled back, trembling, barely able to force out a whimper. “H-help… someone, help…”

She had never seen anything like this. The image of Allison, poised and pristine, yet soaked in an aura of cold-blooded fury, would haunt her forever.

Allison was so ruthless! She sliced Amor’s finger like that without a second thought?

She was no mere woman. She was a devil in disguise.

Colton, standing off to the side, felt his heart pounding wildly. The woman he’d known for three years as his gentle, doting wife — how could she wield a dagger so ruthlessly?

Yet he found himself unable to look away, transfixed by her deadly resolve.

Kellan, on the other hand, watched with calm admiration.

The sight of splattering blood didn’t unsettle him in the least; if anything, he regretted that he hadn’t taken care of Amor himself, sparing Allison the trouble.

To him, this scene was far from shocking.

Allison had always been this way, from the very beginning.

She was cold-blooded, dangerous, and irresistibly captivating. His gaze shifted briefly to Colton, noting the horror and confusion etched across his face. Pathetic, he thought, almost amused.

Amor’s body weakened as blood pooled around her. Her strength ebbed, and her resistance faded. At Kylo’s calm nod, Andres and his subordinates released their grip, letting her slump to the floor.

“Casinos don’t deal in fatalities,” Kylo said calmly.

Understanding his meaning, Andres immediately turned to his men to bark orders.

“Bring the medicine — get her bandaged up!”

“Yes, sir!”

Within moments, the antiseptics and hastily applied bandages were doing their work.

Nobody cared much for the side effects; keeping Amor alive a little longer was all that mattered. Whether she made it past the casino doors wasn’t their problem.

After several tense minutes, under the influence of drugs and crude first aid, Amor’s strength returned enough for her to sit up. Her hand, now with only three fingers left, trembled as she looked at it, her eyes blazing with fury and hatred. “Allison!” she hissed, her voice like venom.

The need for revenge burned in her gut, eclipsing even the pain.

She would make Allison pay, no matter what it cost her.

But Allison was already engrossed in another matter entirely. She stood over the towering stacks of chips, counting her winnings with meticulous care.

Andres had assigned six people to help tally the fortune, but even with all their efforts, they’d barely counted half.
