Chapter 2174

Nash suddenly opened his eyes.

He looked around in a panic. That dream felt so real.

Fortunately, Hera heard the commotion and came in. Only then did Nash calm down.

"What happened just now? Did you have a nightmare?" Hera asked gently, her voice soft and soothing. She leaned against Nash like a quiet little cat.

"Nothing... I just had a bad dream," Nash replied, smiling at his clingy wife.

Hera remained quietly by his side. Nash felt a surge of happiness as he watched her growing belly.

"What do you think? Will it be a boy or a girl?" Hera asked with a touch of innocence.

"Either would be great," Nash answered earnestly.

"Yeah, either is good. When the baby is born, what name should we choose?" Hera pondered aloud.

"I haven't thought of any good names. What do you think?" Nash asked.

"I asked you to come up with a name, and you're tossing the question back to me?" Hera complained, playfully punching Nash.

"Honestly, with all you've been busy with, I bet you haven't given it much thought," she added.

"Of course, I have. It's my own child. How could I not think about it?" Nash chuckled.

"Yeah, right." Hera pouted, turning her head away.

"What's wrong?" Nash hugged Hera, gently soothing her.

"Nothing..."

Nash understood without her saying. He had been busy traveling between countries and had somewhat neglected Hera.

Even though she did not voice it, he knew that having multiple wives

made her feel a bit uneasy. Hera was sensible and respected Nash's choices, so she only acted a bit spoiled around him. Nash felt a twinge of guilt toward her

"Alright, honey. I'll stay by your side during this time, okay?" Nash promised.noveldrama

Hera turned excitedly toward him. "You mean it? No take-backs!"

"Of course, I promise." Nash laughed.

Hera held Nash's hand and said, "Let's go shopping, then."

"But..." Nash hesitated, looking at her large belly. "You should rest at home. Tell me what you want, and I'll get it for you."

"No! I want to go out!" Hera insisted.

"But..."

"You just said you'd be with me, and now, you won't even take me shopping."

Bet

"Alright, alright. We'll go." Nash relented, knowing he could not win against Hera. She had been cooped up a home for a while and was probably eager to get out.

Nash stood up and said, "I'll have them prepare the car."

Hera quickly declined, "No need for that. Let's just walk around the neighborhood."

"Does that count as shopping?" Nash asked, confused.

"Of course, it does! Come on. Help me up, and let's go."

Unable to refuse, Nash did as she asked.

They strolled leisurely outside.

Hera seemed very happy, and so was Nash. It had been a long time since they had such a relaxing outing together. Nash could not even remember the last time they had spent time alone like this

As he watched Hera in her pretty white dress, Nash realized she was still in her prime. She was at her most beautiful time.

He gently lifted a lock of Hera's hair, and she shyly looked at him before stopping and nestling into his arms.
