Chapter 329

What was wrong with Rachel? How was Matthew supposed to respond to Tracy?

Matthew couldn't just say Rachel was in bad shape from strenuous activities, and he definitely couldn't reveal that she was hurt from being too passionate during their intimate moments.

It was out of the question to blame Rachel's situation on him getting too carried away. Things were really complicated. Matthew had to make up something.

"She's just feeling a little off in her stomach. It's no big deal. She's doing fine."

Did Rachel have an upset stomach? Tracy frowned and started counting the days of Rachel's cycle.

"Something's off. It's not that time of the month yet. Why is she feeling unwell in her stomach? Could she be pregnant? You know, from last time in the car..." Realizing she had slipped up, Tracy quickly went quiet. "Huh?" Matthew exclaimed. He gaped at Tracy in shock.

Last time, Rachel was under the effect of aphrodisiacs, and they were at it for a long time in the car. Matthew had assumed Tracy was asleep the whole time, thinking that she slept like a log.

But then, Tracy suddenly brought it up. Clearly, she wasn't asleep at that time and knew everything that had happened.

They went wild in the car, and Rachel moaned like there was no tomorrow. The worst part was that Tracy watched the whole thing unfold. Thinking over it, Matthew felt so awkward that he didn't know what to say. Tracy realized she had said something she shouldn't have and quickly apologized. "Sorry. It wasn't on purpose. I wasn't trying to peep back then.

"I was sound asleep, and suddenly the car started rocking like crazy. That was when I was jolted awake. I was trying to sleep, but you two were so loud that I couldn't fall back asleep."

After explaining, Tracy's face turned so red that she looked like a tomato. Tracy couldn't get the images out of her head, or Rachel's moan and Matthew's roars. It almost made her die of embarrassment.

Looking embarrassed, Matthew said, "It's nothing. That's all in the past now. Honestly, I was just trying to save Rachel. If I hadn't done that, she'd have been in danger."

Tracy cleared her throat. "I understand. Let's drop that. If Rachel is feeling sick, could she be pregnant?"

Matthew shook his head. "No, Rachel isn't pregnant."

Tracy breathed a sigh of relief. "You

scared me. If it's not pregnancy, then what's going on? Rachel and I are like family, so don't hold back

and tell me. I promise I won'tspill it."

Matthew was put off by Tracy acting overly familiar. Tracy wasn't Rachel's mother but a close friend. Even if they were besties, it wasn't the same as being in a relationship.

Seeing that Tracy didn't get the

message, Matthew decided to take anoveldrama

firm approach to make her

understand the boundaries. "Yesterday, Rachel was all over me saying she missed me and wouldn't leave me alone.

"Eventually, she forced herself on me, and we might have overdone it. She got hurt and decided to take a day off to rest at home."

After saying that, Matthew turned around and left without waiting for Tracy to react. Blushing, Tracy just stood there and looked completely bewildered.

After all that worry, Tracy found out that Rachel and Matthew had just been at it again. She was actually worried that something had happened to Rachel. When she learned that Rachel was hurt because of Matthew, she was at a loss for words.

As Matthew walked away, Tracy

couldn't stop herself from

grumbling, "What a jerk! How

shameless are you? Why did you tell me that kind of stuff? It's

unbelievable, especially how he

treats a woman."

After venting her frustration, she noticed her face was beet red as if she was burning up. Her mouth went dry, and she ended up pressing her legs together without knowing. When Matthew stepped out of the company, he started making his way to Opulent Club.
