A few days later, Fiona, I, and a few dozens of soldiers got one of the biggest missions in this war, and that mission is to go into the Kingdom of Moldova area and capture a few lands in the sign of war. A few days ago, Moldovia Kingdom was about to invade my homeland and take my kingdom down because we are fighting their allies, which made them so piss, that they were about to invade us, but their army got blown away by the fact that the Kingdom of Romania got much more soldiers than they will ever have in the next life. And that Kingdom even dared to tell us we are cowards, chickens, and we cannot scare them that easily, so, our King has concluded to launch a few dozens of their best soldiers into that enemy Kingdom to see if they will talk like that now.
Today, in the early morning, the carts were about to head to that place, but right when I was about to throw my precious things into one of those carriages, I saw Emily looking at me for a while, and then she goes elsewhere. I didn't see Emily's reaction, but I could say she felt sad when she heard I will go in another fight. This thing wouldn't bother me because the duty of a squire and knight is to fight for their kingdom, and protect their citizens, but is it a good idea for a kid to join a bloody war where everyone could die at any time just for some gold as a reward for their families or just some ordinary land?
I was thinking to go after her and talk about the journey, but Fiona stopped me because she asked her for a favour.
"Could go to the tent of Blacksmith Bob and take my sword?"
"Of course." I say to Fiona running to that tent and forgetting the sword she is carrying is huge and not on a normal size like the others.
Fortunately, the tent where the blacksmith who worked a long time repairing the swords and has a better experience in weapons than Diana is not as far away as I thought, is only six tents away from the east, and that's where I went to take the sword. While I was running there I saw a few soldiers getting their things from the tent and going in the direction where are the carriages located. After a few seconds, I arrive in front of that yellow tent which is a huge one and there are some big, small and dwarf swords, good shields for those who work as defenders, magic wands and wands left on a shelf next to the swords, spears or sticks.
I looked at the tent and saw the Blacksmith Bob, who is fixing a sword, which doesn't belong to Fiona because that sword is too little for her and not that hard to wield.
"Um... Good morning!" I say to the Blacksmith who stops his work and looks at me.
"Good morning to you young warrior!" says the Blacksmith smiling at me. "What can I help you with?"
"I come here to take Fiona's sword."
"Fiona? Do you mean the big sword?"
"Yes."
"Someone has already taken that sword."
"Wait. What ?"
"Yes, there was a woman who took the sword by levitating and goes to the carts area."
"Who was that woman?"
"The woman who came here is... uhh... I think she was a witch because she used magic... She also was somewhere in her thirty, I think... and got some normal wizard clothes... I think her name is... Somewhere with an E."
"Emily?"
"Yes. That's the name!"
"Alright. Thanks." I say running from the yellow tent and start searching for aunt Emily.
I have no idea why Aunt Emily decided to make this decision, but it's probably because she doesn't want Fiona and I to go to the war zone of the Kingdom of Moldovia. While I was running to find her around some tents in this area, I ask a few warriors who told me they saw Emily using a levitating spell to carry a huge sword with her around the camp.

After almost ten minutes of searching, I found her at the cart zone, where was Fiona waiting for me to come with her sword. Right when I was about to come to those two who were talking, I have decided to hide somewhere close to them to hear what they are talking about. I am not a pervert or something, I am just curious why they are talking while a journey to Moldovia is about to happen in a few minutes. So, I have decided to go on my left and hide under a cart that is pretty close to those two.
"Are you sure he will be fine? He is just a child," says Emily talking to Fiona.
"Yes." says Fiona to Emily. "Those are the orders of the commanders and generals. You know what happens if we obey them. Also, he will be fine. That child could even match two warriors if he uses his battle skill."
"Do you think he will be fine while he is going there? I heard that place is full of bloodthirsty warriors."
"Almost every place in this world is full of those kinds of warriors. But if anything happens to your nephew, I will take full responsibility. If he gets a scratch, I will even cut one of my hands." says Fiona sounding serious when she said that last part.
"... I ... I am scared."
"I am too. A child in a war... We live in some cruel world." says Fiona feeling the sadness my aunt is feeling right now. "... Sometimes I just wanted to be exceptions in this kind of war, you know? I was on his place a few years ago back when I was still a squire to that strong man... He did everything to me while he was still alive."
"Yeah... That's his way of a will. He will always help the weak ones to surpass their goals." says Emily feeling much better.
"So... Are you going to let him go?"
" Y...Yes. I think it would be a good idea to let him assist you, but if anything bad will happens to him. I will take from you whatever is the cost." says Emily and after that, she is leaving the cart area and goes to do her business.
When Emily has left, Fiona took a looks at the cart and what she said has almost made me have a heart attack.
"You can leave now, Judah."
"Huh?!" I yelled to Fiona while I left the cart by crawling in her direction and when I left the place under the cart, I was calmly asking her. "How did you know I was here?"
"I am vewolf. I know your smell, remember?"
"Oh, yeah... Anyway... Are you really going to protect me?"
"Of course. A squire and a knight should work together to complete their achievements."
"Who told you that?"
"That knight I was working with."
"Who was that?"
Fiona did not answer me at that question, and in fact, she goes to take her sword which was lying on the ground, she takes a look at her weapon to be sure everything is alright and is perfectly fixed. After she took that look, she put the weapon on the cart I was hiding under and she responds to my question with a smirk on her face.
"You already know him?"
"I do?" I say to Fiona having no idea who is she talking about.
"Anyway, are you ready for this journey? It will be a long one, Judah."
"Yeah." I say to Fiona while both of us are entering the big carriage where the other eight warriors are waiting to arrive in Moldovia and fight the enemies who mocked our kingdom. I enter this huge cart, which is much larger than the ones I've travelled so far, and there are two warriors I know very well, Camille and Josh.
"Look who is here." says Josh who is preparing his sword and looks at me. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Yes." I say to Josh while I sat on the bench where is Camille, Fiona, and Josh sitting.
"Last time you took a good blackout. Good thing it wasn't right on the battlefield."
"Yes... It wasn't." I say after I remember that time when Tyran has saved my life by sacrificing his own.
Josh has seen my reaction after he says that part and he decided to shut up about it and stop talking on the entire road to the Kingdom where we are going to attack. All the time on the road, I was thinking about the actions I did on that battlefield and started to regret I wasn't careful. If I was careful, maybe Tyran would be still alive and fight alongside.
Fiona had a few moments to cheer me up, which they worked pretty well. Even Camille helped me to cheer myself up, by telling me one of the funniest moments in her life. The entire wasn't that bad thanks to Fiona and Camille, and that mysterious warrior who told me who participated in one of Camille's discussions about quests she did to gain some money. That mysterious dude worked for the Kingdom as a soldier and even worked part-time as a lumberjack. He also told me how does the woods sales works which are much more confusing than I thought.
The journey took an entire day, and on the night we arrived at a plain land where there are situated an abandoned village and that place, our General has decided to be the camp of our army until we will arrive at the capital. this war will not end when we will kill all the enemies, it will end in two different ways. If we destroy the entire defence, we will conquer Moldovia. Or, if the enemy army destroys our team and the camp, they will win the defence. Pretty simple.
