After a few moments, I wake up in a room. As I raised from the bed I was sleeping, I head at the door, I opened it and I leave the room I stood while I was sleeping. I got on the hallway of the building I stay, and before I could take another step, I see Fiona walking the hallway to my direction.
"Judah. Are you fine?"
"Yes." I respond to Fiona as she got closer to me, and she looks at me, analyse every part of my body to be sure I am not injured.
"Glad you are safe." she says with a smile to me. "You scared me when Josh carried you and put you on this house."
"Josh? Ah. Josh. The knight we fought at the first battle."
"Yes."
"Okay." I look at the window and I see the night has come. "The battle?"
"It is over." says Fiona looking at the window. "We have slaughtered all of them. And they run as they were running low on people."
"I see."
"…Come outside." she says turning around and heading to the door that leads outside the house I stood for a few moments or clocks.
I follow Fiona in order. I walk behind her. As we walk further in the hallway, I see a door open where an old woman mourns the dead of an old man, who got his legs and arms cut by the cannibals. Fiona heard it too, and she didn't budge, like I almost did, but then I realize dead people cannot come back to life. Once they are dead like the old man, there is no way they can never come back to life.
We got to the door that leads outside this building, Fiona opened it wide enough for both of us to leave the house. As we got outside, we see a lot of knights, all sitting on logs or chairs, some chatting, other singing using instruments made by wood, metal or iron, some knights were drinking beer and food, while one of the knights is cleaning the weapon in front of some curios kids from this village. Before we could go somewhere to talk or eat, a knight approaches us, and I could figure out the person who came to us is a knight I have healed on the battlefield.
"Hey, kid! Thank you for healing me." says the knight in bloody armour and with a helmet on his head.
"Um. No problem, sir." I say to the man after he shook my hand.
"Here." he tosses a gold coin to me. "Buy yourself something nice here." and he leaves us alone.
Fiona and I continued to walk further, until we arrived in front of a fireplace where Lu sits on a chair, next to three knights and eat rabbit legs. When we got there, the knights looked at us carefully, and one of them, raised from his seat and walks close to me.

"Thank you for healing me." he said to that knight who had the arrow on the back. "You kid. You are a great healer." says the man again, and hands me a piece of rabbit leg. "Here."
I took the rabbit leg, bite the juicy part of it and munch the dish I was served. I looked at the knight, who only shook his head and said a slow "Thank you." to me, then leave us alone to the fireplace. We sit next to Lu, at a log put there, and we are looking at each other.
"Fiona." says Lu after he threw the rabbit leg bone into the fire. "You did a good job on the battlefield."
"I know." says Fiona to Lu. "And you, for a knight with a first mission like this, weren't so bad."
"Thanks." says Lu, and he looks at me. "Are you feeling alright, Judah?"
"Yes." I say to Lu munching from that rabbit leg I was given as a token of gratitude. "The fight is over, right?"
"We have killed everyone." says a knight with red hair and a scar on his forehead. "These animals should've been killed much worse than they had it today. Am I right?" he looks at Fiona, who only shook her head in approval.
The man looks at me, then he asks Fiona.
"Is this the guy who was arrested one time for catching criminals by himself?"
"Yes." responds Fiona.
The knight with red hair laughs, and he looks at me with a smile.
"Well, kid. Looks like you have met your fighting teacher at the academy."
"Is it you?" I ask the man feeling a little weird.
"Yes. My name is Tudor Alavanzo." responds the man getting up from his seat, rising his hand into a shaking method. I shook his hands and as I did, I could've felt the strength of the grip this man has, which was a very strong one, that put me on the knees.
I saw Fiona who was close to flinch, but Lu stopped her. He looks at the man who is going to be our fighting teacher/ The man looks at Lu, and he says to him.
"You are right. This man may have no strength to fight. But on magic, he is stronger." he then starts to give me a lift and clean the dust from my clothes, even though I had none since we are sitting on grass who was not yet cut. "Sorry for the brute force, kid. I was testing you."
"You call that testing?" I ask the man.
"Be grateful, otherwise, you could've been incapacitated until tomorrow morning when we are going to leave this village and head back home." he gets back to his seat, and as he did that, he takes off a parchment and with a goose feather. "Your name is Judah. And what else?"
"Um. Gremory."
"Gremory." says the man with red hair not fazed. "You will be having fun at the Academy."
"I see…" I say because I don't know what to say into this type of conversation.
Am I going to be fine at the time I will get on the Academy?

On the next day, we packed our things at the wagons and carriages, and left this village in ruin, handling the things by themselves. We have to move without helping the poor residents of this village because of kings' orders. I feel bad for not being able to help them reconstruct their devastated village, but if the King ordered us to come to the Capital this fast, it must be with a good reason.
Fiona, Lu, I and with Josh are having our own carriage, which seems nice. I was wondering why we had it, but it was mostly because of Fiona nobody from the soldiers or the wounded wanted to stay on the same carriage as us.
Anyway, Fiona saw me reading a book, and whispers to me, because she doesn't want to be heard by Lu and Josh.
"The Capital will sent us to a noble family."
"W-What?" I asked her in a whispering tone. "Why?"
"I will fill with the details later." she responded on whispering, and we patiently waited to go to the kingdom.
I continued to absorb the story from the book as the carriage was driven until the night.
And as the night came, we got at the Capital, and from there, we immediately go at the Royal Palace, at the King's Throne room, all by ourselves, and with no weapons because the guards ordered us to let them outside until we will finish the discussion with the King Julius.
