Chapter 145: The crystal clear coffers

After all the garden stone lanterns of the hidden enclosure were lit. Wang Fèn Yǒng, the Grand Prince, Elder Wang, and the Emperor stood around gawking in deep shock.

Liu Tián Qǔ had brung the powerful men to the enclosure so they could feel the extremely dense aura and energy in the hidden enclosure. She also did it to show them her sincerity regarding the unspoken alliance she silently entered with the Imperial family. With Wang Fèn Yǒng's help, Liu Tián Qǔ had lit up the garden lanterns all over the hidden enclosure pushing back the dark of the night.

After overcoming his shock, Elder Wang walked over to an enormous flat knell stone. Elder sat on the Knell Stone, activated it, and began to meditate for several minutes.

Upon the elder's touch, the large flat rock activated, turning into what looked like a glowing blue lace agate with flecks of gold surrounded by crystal clear Selenite crystal. It also began to hum. Wang Fèn Yǒng, the Grand Prince and the Emperor, all followed the Elder example of finding Knell Stones large enough to sit on and meditate.

Liu Tián Qǔ watched the strange sight of Wang Fèn Yǒng, the Grand Prince, Elder Wang, and the Emperor basking in the dense energy of the enclosure and the energy being released from the activated Knell Stones they sat on.

Liu Tián Qǔ was careful not to touch any of the stones with bare skin. It was okay if she stepped on them with her shoes. With the barrier of her shoes between her skin and the Knell Stones, the Knell Stones didn't activate. It was only when she touched them with her bare skin that there was a problem.

The men didn't meditate for long. After meditating, the men looked vibrant and rejuvenated. Watching this phenomenon, Liu Tián Qǔ decided she would come to the hidden enclosure to meditate and to develope her Qi.

Next, the powerful men turned their attention towards collecting more Knell Stones. They had stealthily collected some earlier using the pretense of strolling around Liu Tián Qǔ Residence.

It was then that Liu Tián Qǔ found out for sure that Wang Fèn Yǒng, the Grand Prince, Elder Wang, and the Emperor had storage spaces. However, instead of a bracelet, their storage spaces were necklaces that were hidden under their robes.

After collecting a large quantity of Knell Stones, only then did the powerful men turn their attention to the fruits that thrived in the hidden enclosure. The Grand Prince exclaimed his shock when he finally took a good look at the fruit trees. The fruits trees that were thriving in the enclosure shouldn't be growing in the Tolling Lands at all.

Earlier, the men were so focused on the dense energy and the knell stones. They had paid no attention to what kind of trees they were walking under.

After overcoming his shock, with a glimmer in his eyes, Elder Wang sent Wang Fèn Yǒng over to pick up some of the Durian that had already ripen and fallen from the trees. He wasn't the only one shamelessly taking fruit either. The Grand Prince and the Emperor also took some.

As they collected fruit, Liu Tián Qǔ explained her theory to the men of her opinion on why fruits trees were growing in the Tolling Lands. Elder Wang agreed with her theory.

"So, this is where you got the fruits you sent over earlier!" The Grand Prince exclaimed in pleasure as he picked up ripen Durian and stashed them in his storage space. The Grand Prince momentarily halted and began looking around at the trees in the groove.

Not seeing what he was looking for, the Grand Prince looked over to Liu Tián Qǔ who stood watching them and said, "My wife's favorite fruits are loquats, she also loves lycées. However, don't see them here."

Liu Tián Qǔ then quickly told the Grand Prince of the grove on the hill and explain that that's where the lycées and loquats were.

"I like lycées, loquats, and durian too," the Emperor said with a sour look on his face silently reprimanding Liu Tián Qǔ for giving his older brother fruits but not offering any to him. He was the Emperor of the Tolling Lands. In his opinion, Liu Tián Qu should have brought him some fruits first.

"Aiya, this petty Emperor! What?! And exactly how was I supposed to get them to you? Ah!? Was I supposed to waltz into the Imperial Palace with a basket of fruits screaming 'Everyone get out of the way? I am bringing fruits for the Emperor.' Yeah, I am quite sure that would've worked.' Liu Tián Qǔ thought sarcastically.

Outwardly she looked over to the Emperor and calmly said, "I will have Wang Fèn Yǒng bring some over for you later, Your Majesty."

Everyone turned at a cry of excitement from Elder Wang. Elder Wang had noticed the tea garden and grew excited. Rare teas existed in the tea garden that didn't grow in the Tolling Lands. The Emperor and Elder were avid tea drinkers, and it showed. Both of the men hurried over to the tea garden and immediately began to carefully pick tea leaves from the various trees and shrubs.

As they picked the various tea leaves, the Emperor asked Liu Tián Qǔ of her plans for the hidden enclosure.

Liu Tián Qǔ then explained how she was going to have Earthmovers move the trees from the hidden enclosure to where the grove on the large hill was located. She explained her plan to do this during the same time that the residence was being searched.

Liu Tián Qǔ then told the emperor about her gardener and his family, who were Earthmovers. Liu Tián Qǔ took a moment to explained how Manager Kuo and the Kuo family barely managed to survive under the constant threat and oppression of Big Madam Chen and the Chen Family because of their knowledge of the hidden closure. With a look of deep disgust on her face towards Madam Chen, she also told him of Big Madam Chen's ill-gotten gains hidden in the enclosure and the compensation of Kuo Family.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

Liu Tián Qǔ felt no qualms about telling the four powerful men about the ill-gotten gains of Madam Chen. If there was one thing Liu Tián Qǔ didn't have to worry about the emperor robbing her of, it was money. The Emperor's wealth was so massive it was sickening. Why would the Emperor bother even to put Big Madam Chen treasure room in his eyes when he had a ridiculous amount of massive treasure vaults so full of treasures they were practically bursting at the seams?

Liu Tián Qǔ didn't tell the Emperor of the decision she made a little while ago after watching all four men mediate in the enclosure. Instead, she informed the Emperor she was going to either keep it sealed or knock it down and utilize the space of the enclosure.

"The energy of the knell stones is extraordinarily dense here. This cannot be found anywhere else in the Tolling Land that we know of. This enclosure gave me the idea to created one as well. The stones removed from your residence will be used to create a place where we can gather the energy and aura of the knell stones. For now, allow your enclosure to remain hidden. If you need to expand your residence, let me know, and I will grant you the authority and land to expand your residence." The Emperor commanded.

Liu Tián Qǔ inwardly smirk, that was the answer she was waiting to hear.

No one was paying attention to Elder Wang. However, the Elder attracted everyone's attention as he began muttering under his breath.

Everyone looked over to see the Elder frozen in place. He appeared to be looking into the far distance as he muttered under his breath lost deep in thought.

"Why didn't I think of that before!" the Elder sudden exclaimed. The Elder briefly glanced over at the Emperor and Grand Prince and exclaimed, "I got! I think I got it!" before hurrying over to the enormous flat knell stone he meditated on early.

The Emperor and the Grand Prince trailed after their Imperial Grandfather. Wang Fèn Yǒng too began to follow. However, Wang Fèn Yǒng froze in his tracks when he saw what happened next.

Elder Wang hurried over to the large flat Knell Stone and stood in front of it. With a wave of his hand, two crystal clear medium-sized coffers appeared on the enormous flat Knell Stone. Elder Wang had summoned them from his storage space. The crystal clear coffers were seamless and had no locks.

Unbeknownst to Liu Tián Qǔ, these were the two coffers retrieved from Prince Jing's wagon. These two coffers were also the reason why Prince Jing didn't ride ahead and leave the wagon behind. Everyone had tried everything they could think of to break the deceptively fragile-looking crystal clear coffers open. However, no matter what they tried or did, they could not get the coffers to open nor break.

The moment Liu Tián Qǔ saw the coffers, she felt a sense of unease, which quickly turned into a deep foreboding. The foreboding only grew when she saw the look on Wang Fèn Yǒng face and his eyes when he turned and looked at her. Tightly controlled, unadulterated rage was printed out on Wang Fèn Yǒng's face. Wang Fèn Yǒng had to forcefully control the murderous killing intent that almost exploded out of him.

For the first time since he was born into this world, Wang Fèn Yǒng felt an almost uncontrollable rage at one of his family members.

Everyone knew what happened to the person who saw something that they shouldn't see. His grandfather had just put Liu Tián Qǔ in that predicament.

The Emperor, the Grand Prince, and Elder Wang were so focused on the crystal clear coffers they never noticed that Wang Fèn Yǒng never came over with them.

Wang Fèn Yǒng turned and walked over to where Liu Tián Qǔ stood next to a tall Durian tree. When Wang Fèn Yǒng stopped in front of her, Liu Tián Qǔ looked up at the furious young man who no longer had an expressionless unapproachable look on his face. Instead, he visibly looked extremely furious.

It was very rare to see such deep emotion on the young man's face. Two lifetimes taught Wang Fèn Yǒng the harsh lesson of the dangers that came with freely allow people to see and understand one's emotions and feelings. Therefore he learned to masterful conceal his emotions.

Perversely Liu Tián Qǔ suddenly felt happy, Wang Fèn Yǒng's first reaction told her all she needed to know about his feelings for her. Wang Fèn Yǒng watched the fear suddenly leave Liu Tián Qǔ eyes. Her eyes suddenly began to shine with happiness and emotion as she looked up at him. With just that look, Wang Fèn Yǒng felt his fury calm. He knew then that Liu Tián Qǔ would be able to handle the situation.

Liu Tián Qǔ's heart began to race as she held Wang Fèn Yǒng gaze. Her heart felt as if it was trying to escape her chest. She became pleased and very happy to see that her big ice cube truly cared deeply about her. Liu Tián Qǔ almost fainted from the rush of emotion that bombarded her when her melted ice cube reached over and gently flick her on the nose and asked in a soft voice with warm eyes, "Can you handle it or do you need me to intervene?" She felt lightheaded and dizzy with an inexplicable euphoria.

Liu Tián Qǔ beamed at the melted ice cube and said, "I can handle it, but I will need to use your name to handle the situation. Is that okay?" Liu Tián Qǔ asked Wang Fèn Yǒng's permission to use him.

"You can do whatever you want," said as he looked down at her with a serious face.

"Thank you, big brother. I am going to turn around now. I don't want them to see me looking at something that is not for my eyes," as Liu Tián Qǔ turned around, Wang Fèn Yǒng walked over and stood next to a fruit tree not too far from her. Crossing his arms across his chest, he leaned against the fruit trees and watched his irresponsible Imperial Father, Uncle, and Grandfather, with eyes full of extreme displeasure.

The Emperor, Grand Prince, and Elder stood in front of the enormous flat Knell Stone looking down at the crystal clear coffers. Sealed inside one of the coffers was a massive tome. The other coffer held a device that looked like the ancient Chinese spoon compass minus the spoon. The device looked to be made of solid gold.

Finally, Elder Wang reached forward and touched the large flat knell stone. That caused the knell stone to activate. The stone turned into what looked like a glowing blue lace agate with flecks of gold surrounded by crystal clear Selenite crystal. The gold fleck seemed to float up through the glowing blue lace agate portion of the stone. It then passed through the outer crystal clear Selenite crystal portion of the stone.

The gold flecks detached itself from the knell stone and attached itself to the crystal clear coffers. Upon contact, the coffers turned a shining, blinding bright gold color. The shining golde coffers flared so brightly. For several moments it completely lit up the hidden enclosure bright as the sun forcing everyone in the enclosure to shield their eyes.

A deep humming vibration accompanied the blinding gold bright light. Similar to the spent hum and vibration of a bell that had Tolled. The already thick aura in the enclosure seemed to double, triple, and quadruple, bathing everyone in the enclosure in the thick energy that it released.
