"Since Young Master Liu has seriously considered my heavy burdens and concerns and came to this conclusion after deeply meditating on how to assist me in my endeavors. Then I won't be polite. I will accept this carriage. I have learned much from Young Master Liu." The Emperor rubbing it in only cause the laughter that rang through the air to grow. Liu Tián Qǔ wanted to kick the Emperor's teeth in, but she tightly controlled her anger.

The Emperor turned around to look at his newly returned friends and said, "I will send everyone off from here. Go in and get some rest. Tonight will be a long night. I can see everyone is already tired, so go in a rest up for tonight."

Wēi Yǒng Měng looked at the Emperor and said, "You're not coming in?"

"Yǒng Měng you look completely exhausted, go rest. Stay with Young Master Liu and rest a while."

The Emperor looked at Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Měng Tiān Cái, Wēi Yǒng Měng, and Jiang Tài Píng and said. "When the lands, properties, and wealth of the Four Martial Families were appropriated. I made sure to set everything aside in reservation for the day when I could return everything to the original owners. I've personally assigned managers to manage all the lands, properties, businesses, and everything that was seized. I've also personally assigned auditors to monitor the managers. The auditor's job is to continuously audit everything to keep the managers in check. I've already drafted the decrees to return all land, wealth, titles, and properties that were seized."

The Emperor looked at his shocked, dazed friends. Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Měng Tiān Cái, Wēi Yǒng Měng, and Jiang Tài Píng began to bow in thanks to the Emperor. The Emperor stopped them. The Emperor shook his head and said, "Don't. No thanks or gratitude is needed. The Imperial Family wronged you and your families. It's is only right that I watch over what belongs to you until you're able to reclaim what was rightfully yours in the first place. Don't thank me. It will only hurt my heart." Releasing a long breath of air, the Emperor suddenly looked tired and weary.

"I know you are all very weary and need rest before once again resuming control of your family's legacies. Just know that everything is here waiting for you. Rest for now, whenever you're ready, let Wang Fèn Yǒng know." The Emperor told his friends.

Turning to Wang Fèn Yǒng, the Emperor said, "Wang Fèn Yǒng at that time you must immediately come and inform me. I will take it from there."

Wang Fèn Yǒng bowed in acknowledgment and said, "Yes, Your Majesty."

After saying a few more words to his friends, the Emperor turned and looked at Liu Tián Qǔ with a smirk. He then walked back over to the carriage and climbed on the carriage he commandeered from Liu Tián Qǔ. One of the Emperors honor guards relived the carriage driver of his duties with a heavy purse full of coin.

The honor guard then seated himself in the driver seat and began to drive the carriage away. The huge entourage of honor guards quickly surrounding the carriage and began escorting it away. Just like that, a gloomy Liu Tián Qǔ watched her brand new carriage that she never even got a chance to ride drive away.

"My carriage," a gloomy depressed-looking Liu Tián Qǔ lamented. "I never even got a chance to ride in it, and now it's gone." Laughter once again rang through the air.

Wēi Yǒng Měng looked at the laughing Grand Prince and Lady Wǔ Gāng Huā and said, "I sense there is more going on here. What's going on? Fill me in!"

As the Butler and Housekeeper began escorting everyone inside of the Garden Residence. The Grand Prince mirthfully began filling Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Wēi Wò Yàn, Měng Tiān Cái, and Wēi Yǒng Měng in on what the Grand Prince called the 'entertaining interactions between Young Master Liu and the Emperor.'

Liu Tián Qǔ shook off her gloom and took over the duties of a host after the Butler and Housekeeper escorted everyone to the front receiving room and served tea. Much laughter rang out in the receiving room as the Grand Prince regaled Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Měng Tiān Cái, and Wēi Yǒng Měng with the 'entertaining interactions between Young Master Liu and the Emperor.'

Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Měng Tiān Cái, Wēi Wò Yàn, and Wēi Yǒng Měng would occasionally glance over at the glowering Young Lord in shock, disbelief, amusement, and laughter.

Jiang Tài Píng didn't go to the receiving room, along with everyone else. His wife Jiang Mín Yuè waited for him and her son she'd never seen before at the entrance of the residence. Jiang Mín Yuè birthing of the twins was a touch and go process from the beginning. She barely made it through with her life. She had immediately fallen unconscious after giving birth to the youngest twin. So she never got a chance to see him.

Jiang Mín Yuè only had eyes for the baby that Hòu Dao held in her arms. Only when Hòu Dao turned the baby over to Jiang Mín Yuè and Jiang Mín Yuè got to hold her baby did she remember to greet Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Wēi Wò Yàn, Měng Tiān Cái, and Wēi Yǒng Měng. With her baby finally in her arms, Jiang Mín Yuè briefly greeted everyone before being led away by her husband.

Everyone else had continued to the front receiving room. In the receiving room, Liu Tián Qǔ silently watched the Grand Prince, Lady Wǔ Gāng Huā and Wang Fèn Yǒng very closely. They tried to hide it, but Liu Tián Qǔ noticed the change that came over them when they entered her Garden Residence. Liu Tián Qǔ wondered if they also felt the mysterious energy that seemed to be very pronounced in her manor. Liu Tián Qǔ felt this force outside of her residence as well. However, it was very faint. It was only in her Garden Residence that the aura felt dense and concentrated.

It left Liu Tián Qǔ feeling uneasy because she didn't know what this energy or aura was. No one else in her residence appeared to feel it, but it seemed like the Lord, Lady, and Heir of Wang Royal Manor felt it.

Liu Tián Qǔ didn't see any other reason for them to be acting the way that they were. It had to be that they also felt the strange energy. That was the only thing that Liu Tián Qǔ could surmise. After thinking heavily, Liu Tián Qǔ decided to put it to test.

With that decision made Liu Tián Qǔ quickly summoned Housekeeper Gao and gave her some instructions to be carried out immediately.

Liu Tián Qǔ had also kept an eye on Wēi Yǒng Měng. Although he looked to be enjoying the stories that the Grand Prince entertained everyone with. It was clear to see that Wēi Yǒng Měng was truly exhausted. Everyone had talked and enjoyed each other's company for over twenty minutes when Liu Tián Qǔ finally acted. Liu Tián Qǔ waited until there was a lull in the conversation and then made her move.

"I understand everyone has enjoyed catching up with each other. However, tonight is a big night for everyone. I would like Doctor Ru to have a look at Wēi Yǒng Měng. I also think it's best for everyone to get a bit of rest in preparation for tonight." Liu Tián Qǔ spoke into the brief silence.

"I agree," Lady Wǔ Gāng Huā said in a firm voice. "Although Hòu Dao did her best in administering the Mythical Beast Medicinal Pill and stabilizing Wēi Yǒng Měng. I will only feel better after Doctor Ru has seen to him."

Seeing that no one disagreed Liu Tián Qǔ stood and said, "Good, before I summon Butler Zhou and Housekeeper Gao to have everyone escorted to their courtyards and have the Doctor summoned for Wēi Yǒng Měng. First, I would like to welcome everyone to Liu Residence." Liu Tián Qǔ welcomed her guest to her residence with a bow.

"The longer you stay here, the more you will see that my home is managed slightly different from other noble homes. However, I not only want everyone to feel comfortable and welcomed in my home. I also want everyone to enjoy their stay here. If there are any preferences anyone have or anything I could do to make your stay here better, feel free to let me know." Liu Tián Qǔ said with the utmost sincerity.

"If there is anything that makes you uncomfortable immediately, let Butler Zhou, Housekeeper Gao, Jiang Tài Píng, or myself know. Don't try to hold it in, immediately inform me. If you don't tell me I won't know. Butler Zhou, Housekeeper Gao, as well as the servants assigned to each of you, will be at your beck and call. It is my hope that everyone would enjoy the time spent here." Liu Tián Qǔ informed her guest with a serious, sincere face.

"What do you mean your home managed slightly different from other noble homes?"Jūn Zhōng Xīn asked with an inquisitive expression on his face.

"You will see," Liu Tián Qǔ answered with a slightly mysterious smile on her face.

"Also, you are not constricted here. When I say my home is opened to you, I meant just that" Liu Tián Qǔ said to Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Měng Tiān Cái, Wēi Wò Yàn, and Wēi Yǒng Měng. She also made sure to include the Grand Prince, Lady Wǔ Gāng Huā, and Wang Fèn Yǒng as well.

"Feel free to walk around wherever you want. The inner courtyard is already opened to you. You can also check out the vineyard, the small grove next to the vineyard, the barracks which honesty is more like a garrison. This residence is extremely beautiful. There are tons of beautiful gardens, pavilions, and ponds all over the place. Just be mindful that I just moved into this residence. So over the next several weeks, there will be a lot of renovation and construction all over the place." Liu Tián Qǔ warned her guest.

After a brief hesitation, Liu Tián Qǔ continue addressing Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Měng Tiān Cái, Wēi Wò Yàn, and Wēi Yǒng Měng, "I am sure you all know that this residence once belonged to the Chen Family. As I mention to Big Brother Fèn Yǒng already, I am very suspicious of this residence. There are so many things about it that give me pause, within the next couple of weeks. I will be dismissing all the servants for three days. I want to search every nook and cranny of this residence from top to bottom." Liu Tián Qǔ closely watched the expressions on the faces and in the eyes of Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Měng Tiān Cái, Wēi Yǒng Měng, and Wēi Wò Yàn.

"During that time, you will be inconvenienced because there will be no servants available to serve you. I will like to make sure everyone is okay with that." Liu Tián Qǔ said.

Wēi Yǒng Měng gave the Young Lord that would be hosting him a profound look, "What inconvenience? We have been taking care of ourselves for a long time. Three days with no servants is no bother. We can take care of ourselves once again."

It was Měng Tiān Cái that said, "What is more important is making sure Elder Chen didn't leave any nasty surprises behind."

"Tiān Cái is right," Jūn Zhōng Xīn said. "I wouldn't put anything thing past the Chen family."

"If it comes to the worst, everyone can come next door and stay with us at Wang Royal Manor. We would love to have everyone come over." Lady Wǔ Gāng Huā invited.

"I thank everyone for understanding." Liu Tián Qǔ said. "In the meantime, as everyone moves about. If you come across anything suspicious, please don't hesitate to inform me right away."

"Don't worry Young Master Liu we will be sure to do so," Jūn Zhōng Xīn assured Liu Tián Qǔ.

"Thank you, everyone," Liu Tián Qǔ said.

"No, it is us who would like to thank Liu Tián Qǔ for the hospitality and for allowing us to rest here for a while." Měng Tiān Cái said as they all bowed and thanked Liu Tián Qǔ for opening her home to them.

"No thanks are necessary," Liu Tián Qǔ wave away their thanks.

Liu Tián Qǔ turned to the Lord, Lady, and Heir of Wang Royal Manor and said. "Please don't leave yet. I would like to take this opportunity to also show the Grand Prince, Lady Wǔ Gāng Huā, and Big Brother Wang Royal Manor Courtyard."

After that short little speech, Liu Tián Qǔ summoned the Doctor, Housekeeper, and Butler.

First, Jūn Zhōng Xīn, Měng Tiān Cái, and Wēi Wò Yàn along with the Grand Prince, Lady Wǔ Gāng Huā, and Wang Fèn Yǒng under the escort of Liu Tián Qǔ, the Doctor, Housekeeper, and Butler all escorted Wēi Yǒng Měng over to the residence hospital. They left him in the care of Doctor Ru, Hòu Dao, and her former assistant Lì Qiáng.

The group then made their way through the manor to the inner courtyards. They escorted Wēi Wò Yàn to his courtyard first and left him in the care of his servants. Then Měng Tiān Cái and finally Jūn Zhōng Xīn were also escorted to the courtyards that were reserved for them. They, too, were left in the care of the attendants that were assigned to attend to them.

It was very late in the afternoon by the time Liu Tián Qǔ dismissed the butler and housekeeper. Liu Tián Qǔ personally escorted the Lord, Lady, and Heir of Wang Royal Manor to Wang Royal Manor Courtyard. It was a big courtyard that was next door to the Master's courtyard.
