Liu Tián Qǔ was suddenly hit with a thought. She looked over to her Manager and asked, "How did you know of this hidden enclosure, and how did you find it?"

The Manager was in the process of picking leaves off of a shrub that was known for producing excellent tea and carefully putting them into a small container. The Manager carefully closed his container and tucked it into a pocket in his robes before walking over to where Liu Tián Qǔ stood.

"Young Master Liu, my uncle, was one of the craftsmen who help to build this hidden enclosure. My grandfather was also one of the Earth Movers who helped to transport these trees into the enclosure."

"Transport the trees? These trees were not planted here?" Liu Tián Qǔ asked in astonishment.

"Young Master Liu, take another look at all of these trees again," The dishevel manager said as Manager Kuo pointing at the trees before saying, "Everyone of these trees is clearly hundreds of years old."

"Then how did they get them here? These trees look as if they've always been here. They don't look disturbed or damaged. They look extremely healthy, and they are thriving! Nor are there any signs indicating these threes were transferred here." Liu Tián Qǔ exclaimed in shock and disbelief while carefully inspecting several trees. Liu Tián Qǔ had a master's degree in agriculture, so she knew the sign to look for. Astonishingly there were no signs indicating these trees were ever disturbed.

Liu Tián Qǔ felt hope bloom in her heart. Maybe, just maybe, it would be possible to get these trees moved out while keeping the servants from knowing about the enclosure.

The Manager gave her a weird look and said, "Earth Movers obviously moved them here, so of course there would be no problems." the manner in which the Manager said it, it was clear that he was silently saying that this was common sense.

"Moved? Earthmovers? What are Earth Movers?" Liu Tián Qǔ asked with looks of surprise and incredulity as the Manager gawk at her. Liu Tián Qǔ quickly said, "Forgive me, Manager Kuo, I have yet to finish my schooling, so there are big gaps in my education. Honestly, I have been neglected my education for a while, so there are many things I do not know. Please, tell me. What are Earth Movers, and how are they able to move trees without damaging or disturbing them?"

The Manager thought to himself, 'Well, he still is a child, although at times he really doesn't seem to be a child. Not many children concern themselves with gardening, plus if he has been neglecting his education that could explain much.'

Thinking this much, Manager Kuo took it upon himself to expand Liu Tián Qǔ's knowledge. "An Earth Mover is a shaman who has an extraordinarily deep affinity with the earth. These shamans are able to put the trees and their roots into something similar to a stasis. They then move the tree, its roots, and, if necessary, they move even the earth surrounding the tree using transporters. They can move any tree, shrub, plant, or pretty much anything of the earth at any time without damaging, harm, stunting, disturbing or shocking it. They then replant it wherever you want it to be planted. The shaman would then remove the stasis and revive the tree." Manager Kuo informed Liu Tián Qǔ.

"Are you sure this process does not harm or disturb the tree?" Liu Tián Qǔ asked in a dubious voice with shades of disbelief, and hope coloring her voice.

"It's is because of the Earth Movers that the Agricultural growth of the Tolling Lands surpasses any other country in the Northern lands. There is much an Earth Mover can do. Moving a tree doesn't even give testament to the talent and skills of Earth Movers." Manager Kuo expounded.

"Some of these trees are in season right now. Is it okay for an Earth Mover to move a tree while a tree is in season to be harvest?" Liu Tián Qǔ started to feel a little excited but still slightly dubious. She was beginning to think that moving everything to the big hill was not impossible and was actually feasible. Now Liu Tián Qǔ's thoughts were turning to how to actually get it done in secret. 'Ah... I think I'm starting to fall in love with the Tolling Lands. This would never be possible on earth. Sending a tree into a stasis to safely move it and to never have to worry about transplant shock?! Botanists on earth would kill to be able to do that.' Liu Tián Qǔ inwardly grinned.

"That is why the Earth Mover would put the tree and roots in stasis first to avoid shocking the tree. There is no problem for them to move any tree at any time."

"Do you happen to know any Earth Movers that know how to keep their mouths shut?" Liu Tián Qǔ quickly asked the manager.

"My grandfather is an Earth Mover. However, he is in poor health. Ever since he survived an assassination attempt many years ago, his health has never been the same." Manager Kuo said in a sad voice that held faint hints of a deep anger.

"An assassination attempt? Who tried to kill your grandfather, and why?" Liu Tián Qǔ asked incredulously.

"Big Madam Chen, and the Chen Family. They attempted to kill my grandfather and uncle many times. They repetitively tried to kill us to this hidden enclosure a secret. My grandfather feared for my uncle's life and sent him away from the Tolling Lands for a while. Finally, my grandfather left the secret regarding the hidden enclosure with a second and third party." The Manager began to share a bit of his family history with Liu Tián Qǔ.

"My grandfather then informed the Chen Family of that fact and let them know that if anything happened to my grandfather or uncle. Then this information was to be immediately made public knowledge. It was only after my grandfather did that did Big Madam Chen and the Chen Family stop trying to kill them."

"When my grandfather saw it was safe to do so, my grandfather finally allowed my uncle to return to the Tolling Lands. My Uncle and grandfather are the only people left alive who helped to create this hidden enclosure. Everyone else even down to the lowest craftsmen were killed off one by one." The Manager said with deep emotion coloring his voice.

Liu Tián Qǔ's attention was riveted on the Manager as she silently listened to the tale of her residence Agricultural Manager and his family.

"Big Madam Chen's Family knew the hidden enclosure existed. However, they didn't know where in the residence it was hidden or how to find it. Madam Chen had waited until Elder Chen was sent on a mission by the previous emperor. Then she kicked all her family and servants out of the residence and had the enclosure constructed under the pretense of doing renovations."

"While it was being built, no one was allowed to enter the Residence. Later on, after Elder Chen returned. No matter how he tried to compelled Big Madam Chen, she never told him the location of the hidden enclosure. She sneakily had several parts of the residence renovated all at once to cover the construction of the hidden enclosure." Manager Kuo explained how Big Madam Chen managed to hide her hidden enclosure even from her family.

"This enclosure belonged solely to Big Madam Chen. Big Madam Chen was a greedy stingy woman. She never told her family, not even her husband and children, the location of the hidden enclosure or how to find it or enter it. It was said that Madam Chen had died suddenly in her sleep. Much that was in the hands of Big Madam Chen was lost to the Chen Family. She was too stingy and greedy to share what was hers. It was said that after Madam Chen died. The Chen Family almost took the whole residence apart, looking for the many things that Big Madam Chen left behind. Some they were able to reclaim, but much was forever lost to the Chen Family." Manager Kuo informed Liu Tián Qǔ.

"I will be truthful to you since you have been good to me. It was because of my grandfather and my uncle that I accepted the offer of Housekeeper Gao to come here and work. I heard stories of this hidden enclosure from my grandfather and uncle growing up as a child. I also was told of a courtyard the Big Madam Chen built in the enclosure. It was said that she hid a large sum of money, gems, jewelry, and many different treasures from all over the world in the courtyard. From the moment I entered Liu Residence, I began to look for the hidden enclosure." The manager confessed.

Liu Tián Qǔ's heart was troubled as she listened to the gardener's story. She wondered what else was hiding in her residence and how many more people would come forward with stories similar to her Agricultural Manager.

"Although my family was not of noble birth. My Kuo family was once very wealthy and enjoyed a good life due to my grandfather's status as an Earth Mover. However, ever since my family had the misfortune of working for Big Madam Chen. Little by little, we lost everything we once had. My family had resorted to living in the slums to escape Big Madam Chen and the Chen Family." Liu Tián Qǔ could hear the deep rage, loss, sorrow, and despair in the managers' voice.

"Every house we owned would mysteriously burn down. Our children would go missing. Our wives would die of mysterious circumstances. The Chen Family made sure that my grandfather and uncle didn't die since that was the agreement. However, everyone else wasn't so lucky. I lost two sisters, a brother, and scores of cousins under mysterious circumstances. I, too, escaped death so many times, and it wasn't through the effort of trying to survive. I just somehow never died even when I was seeking death after the death of my wife." The sad Manager said with suspiciously wet eyes.

"It was my intention to find the courtyard hidden in the enclosure and seek compensation so my family can leave the slums and once again live well. My grandfather is old, and his health is poor. I wish for him to live his remaining years in comfort. I found the courtyard yesterday. However, I couldn't bring myself to enter it without your permission." Manager Kuo said and began to explain.

Liu Tián Qǔ never commented unto hearing Manager Kuo unintended confession. She quietly continued to listen to the Manager's story.

"You don't understand," Manager shook his head as emotion rippled across his face. "Over the period of years that we lived under the oppression of Big Madam Chen and the Chen Family. I could count on one hand the many people that have extended a helping hand to my Kuo family. However, when those people realized it was the Chen Family they were up against, they quickly back away a left us to drown. I don't blame them because self-preservation and the protection of one's family comes first before you could seek to help another." The Manager said with tears in his eyes in a voice of deep emotion.

"Just being able to obtain a job without the Chen Family intervening has been a blessing and a great help to my family and me. The Chen Family is gone now. However, you took the chance of employing me even before they were eliminated. You have been an excellent employer to me, and you are a fair person. So I decided to tell you my story and of the enclosure and follow whatever decision you make." Manager Kuo said. He then looked at Liu Tián Qǔ and waited for her decision.

Liu Tián Qǔ didn't answer right away. She took a moment to reflect on all that the Manager just conveyed to her. Money wasn't the issue, Liu Tián Qǔ had always been wealthy. To her, money was a tool, and something easy to come by for her. When she realized how precious excellent grape wine was to the people of the Tolling Lands. She had planned to make her fortune that way. Even with the little knowledge she obtained from her father's friend, who was a famous vintner in her previous life. Liu Tián Qǔ was confident she could produce good wine, especially since she was blessed to meet the peddler who sold her many winemaking materials.

However, the emperor came forward and rewarded her with millions of gold. Not even the households that were considered wealthy in the Tolling Lands had multiple millions of gold. With the high value of the silver and gold and the low cost of living in the Tolling Lands. It would be a long time before that gold would be spent. So Liu Tián Qǔ did not need the money of Big Madan Chen. However, Liu Tián Qǔ was not one to look a gift horse in the mouth either. She decided to cut a deal with the Manager.

Liu Tián Qǔ had no idea of the troubles the Kuo family faced with the Chen Family. Her Housekeeper was the one who brought the Agriculture Manager in. Housekeeper Gao had hired the Manager Kuo the same night that the Imperial City was sealed.

'Humph, it looks like during that time, the Chen Family was probably too busy trying to avoid losing their heads to come and find trouble with me for hiring Manager Kuo. I guess it's a good thing they are all dead. I am not in the position to begin a feud with anyone just yet. I am still in the process of securing my residence,' Liu Tián Qǔ thought to herself.

After all, if it weren't for you, I would not know of this hidden enclosure. After hearing your story, I feel you deserve compensation. I also thank you for informing me of this enclosure. You didn't have to," Her gratitude caused the dishevel manager to blush slightly in pleasure and faint embarrassment.

"I will grant you up to five hundred thousand gold or the equivalent of that amount. Even if we search Big Madam Chen's courtyard and find no money or treasures. I will still grant you the same amount of money paid from my funds. However, I will grant you access to this money on one condition." Manager Kuo's eyes popped open in shock. He wasn't expecting Liu Tián Qǔ to grant him that much. Or to be generous enough to ensure he and his family were compensated even if he had to pay the compensation himself.

Only the extremely wealthiest of nobles, the richest influential people, and wealthiest of merchants had that much gold. Even with only thirty to forty thousand gold, the manager would have been completely satisfied.

"First I want to ask you a question, please be honest with me. Are you an Earth Mover?" Liu Tián Qǔ asked the manager.

The manager's face flushed red with embarrassment as he said, "I am an untrained Earth Mover. After the ruin this field of work brought to the Kuo Family. My grandfather refused to allow me to become an Earth Mover even though it is apart of my heritage. Therefore I turned to gardening. What gave me away?" the Manager was perplexed. He didn't do anything or showed his skills as an Earth Mover.

"Nothing really, I just suspected after hearing that your grandfather is an Earth Mover. I have noticed while working with you over the past week or two that you have an exceptionally strong affinity with the earth, so I begin to suspect it," In truth, Liu Tián Qǔ had noticed that Manager Kuo's skills in gardening was no joke. In her past life on earth, Manager Kuo would have probably been described as a brilliant expert gardener with a green thumb. He was very skillful and talented in gardening.

"I will grant you immediate access to financial compensation. However, you must go home and consult with your family to fulfill the conditions that I request of you. The first condition is that I wish to hire your grandfather to assist me here at Liu Residence. I will need an Earth Mover to assist me in moving every tree, shrub, plant, and bush from this enclosure to the hill." Liu Tián Qǔ proposed.

"There is more than enough space there to create another grove or to even add on to the small grove already there. There is also more than enough space to relocate the tea garden to the large hill. I want you to bring your grandfather to Doctor Ru first. Doctor Ru seems to be a reputable doctor with a ton of experience. I believe he should be able to find the root of your grandfathers' illness and heal him." Liu Tián Qǔ said, naming her first condition.

"Like you said, I will have to consult with my grandfather first. However, if he chooses to take you up on your offer, he will need several days to safely transport the trees from the enclosure to the hill. Don't you want to keep this enclosure a secret?"

"I had planned to allow you and your grandfather three days to transport all the trees to the hill. I will be giving everyone three days off in the next week or so. I feel as if that is the perfect time to carry out this project."

"I will convey this to my grandfather, as well." Manager Kuo nodded and said before asking, "What other conditions you have?"

"What craft is your uncle trained in?" Liu Tián Qǔ asked the Manager.

"My uncle is a builder and a carpenter?" Answered the Manager.

"Good, my second condition is I wish to also hire your uncle. There are several projects in Liu Residence that I wish to begin immediately. I would like him to be in charge of these projects. I also want him to train three builders and three carpenters. Let him know that I will pay him very well. He will be given funds for materials and to hire however many workers he needs to hire to accomplish the projects I wish to complete in the fastest time possible."

"I will inform my grandfather and uncle of your offer. However, it must be said, although you will grant me compensation and attempt to heal my grandfather, I can not guarantee that they will take you up on your offer?" The Manager warned.

"You let me worry about that. All I ask is that you present my offers to them." Liu Tián Qǔ said before saying. I have much I must do today. I can not linger here too long. Show me where the courtyard is so we can see if there are any riches to be had."
