Author’s corner: HELLO HELLO! SURPRISE RELEASE BECAUSE I FELT LIKE IT! The legend of green eyes must grow!
ANYWAY, seeing as the legend had grown a bit stale in these last 15 or so chapters, I decided to spark it up again with a new entry to our beloved Green-eyes, the brutal. I decided to start this late at night and am now about to sleep, but there will be a regular release tomorrow so no worries there!
ALSO, as a little questionarie/joke, here I ask you guys, for no other reason than that I’m bored AND curious, but, what was your favorite chapter TITLE up to now? This serves no reason other than entertaining me. (As a funny sidenote, Chapter 14, stuff of the myths is title ‘When golems fly’ in my folder in my computer.)
ALSO(2), Congratulations to Kiilalene for having your character chosen to star this little extra! (HopeI described him well, sorry if I messed up something (^.^'))!
Have a good read!

Ghost walked quietly through the forest, his feet not making a sound in the grass, his dark and tanned body, covered in dark completely hidden in the shadows of the trees. Even if it was but the beginning of the night, he was just like the name he had picked when creating his character. A ghost, an invisible and terrible foe that would come when no one expected and finished his task before they could understand what happened.
Kiilalene Shadowheart, nicknamed Ghost, had picked a panther beast-man since he planned to play as a stealth fighter right out of the bat, and that particular combination had fit him greatly. That still didn’t stop him from giving himself a fairly well-built body and setting his arms as two beastlike claws covered in fur all the way to his shoulders. The black fur, in fact, helped even more with his stealth tactics than what he had expected, as well as looking cool.
He stopped after sometime of searching around and made a short whistle while raising his right arm. After a few seconds a large hawk landed on it while looking at him.
“Found it?” He asked gently, to which the hawk answered with a slight shake of its head. “I see, you still did well, the night isn’t really your territory after all…” He said to the slightly sad hawk, but the bird answered with a low sound while looking at a certain direction. “What? Found something else?” The hawk nodded before lifting flight going towards its previous appointed direction.
Ghost quickly followed the hawk while avoiding a few of these two-tailed yellowish foxes that roamed the area. More than once his gaze landed for a period on these small, but surprisingly though critters and he would think whether he should just cut his hunt here and go for one of these, instead of his original plan.
He came here with one simple intention. To tame himself a pet that could use magic. Initially, he heard of these foxes while having a drink in a bar in the commercial sector of Eldor, and immediately assumed them to be a good option, but right before he set off, he heard of a rare and elusive blue fox that would sometimes appear around here.
The idea of having one of these unique pets immediately took over him, making him set off towards this area immediately. However, even with the help of Gil, his trusted falcon, he didn’t have much luck with finding himself the rare Blue-tail.
But something had gotten the interest of his partner, so he decided to go and see what it was, since his search hadn’t been giving many results.
He patiently followed the bird-of-prey through the forest, not worrying much about his friend, since he could easily take care of himself.
However, something scared the bird, as it suddenly started to flail wildly its wings, stopping itself in the air for a brief moment before hurriedly returning to the panther-man, landing on his shoulder and hurrying him to hide behind a tree.
Startled, Ghost complied to the request and took cover in the shadows, hiding from whatever it was that scared his partner, even if he, himself had no idea on what it was.
It was only a whole minute later when he finally understood what happened, as suddenly, a chill ran down his spine. Rather, as the whole place got noticeable colder, and as a large something approached the tree where he was at a fast pace.
He couldn’t see what it was, since it was on the other side of the tree, but he clearly felt a pressure befalling him as it approached. His instincts, trained after passing hours and hours in the jungle while searching for a companion were screaming two things. Run away, and don’t move.
Standing still, while silently hoping that whatever it was that was behind him would pass right through and ignore him, he tried to comfort his feathery partner who was also visibly shaken.
Still, much for his despair, the creature stopped right before his tree, and a visible sniffing sound came from behind the tree. Then, he heard as its footsteps slowly walked around the tree. By then it was already too late for him to run, so he readied himself by holding the twin swords in his waist and readying himself.
Yet, when he saw it, he was unable to do anything.
It was a huge three tailed blue fox, even taller than him. It had a large blue gem on its forehead and a pair of sharp and intelligent sapphire eyes.
He gazed at the beast in shock for a moment. So this is the fox he had been after? With only one look he could tell that he would be unable to tame this guy. Heck, if he could at least survive him, it would be a good start.
However, the beast simply seemed to sigh, before turning and walking away, in search for something.

It took the duo a few seconds to finally recover their breaths before they finally went on their way. Although he had no idea on what happened, he knew that he had been incredible lucky, after all, on that monsters head had cleared appeared the words, Rare boss and Aggressive.
Since going back now would make him once again cross his path with the fox, he decided to follow towards whatever it was that Gil had found. Since the bird was still a bit too shaken by the experience, he let him rest on his shoulder.
A minute later, he arrived at a clearing with nothing else in sight. When he looked questioningly towards the hawk, a flash of light appeared on the other side of the clearing. The same flash that would occur when someone looted a body.
Ghost looked towards the flash in a surprise and saw as a figure appeared from the other side of the clearing.
It was a player, probably. A golem wearing scale-mail chest-plate and leather pants. In his had was a wild looking black bow. However, the truly marking characteristic of this golem were his mad-looking green glowing eyes.
Ghost instantly tensed up and hid himself behind a tree. Even if he had never seen him before, he knew who he was, after all, he had been all the talk of the forums a few days ago. Green-eyes, the brutal. A mad and strong player, famous for killing strong enemies with one attack and slaughtering players for no reason other than that he felt like it.
Just the kind of player that he hated.
Not that he had many players he trusted after two days ago on the Black woods dungeon, when the first person he considered a friend in here left him for dead in the room right before the boss. At least that made him meet with Gil, so not all ended badly.
The only player he still trusted was that merchant gnome, Argento, who even gave him an equipment made by that Wargon after hearing his story, the same Wargon that crafted the first player-made excellent item.
Deciding himself to give this Green-eyes the taste of his own medicine, he hid himself on the shadows while waiting for the golem to come and meet his demise.
Yet, just as golem was about to reach him, he heard a bark. And the golem started to laugh. A mad and insane laughter that left even Ghost feeling the chills. Frozen where he was, unable to understand what was happening, it took him a few seconds, even after the golem’s laughter ended.
When he came out from hiding to finally see what was happening, the scene was forever implanted in his mind. The golem was sitting besides the fox, the same blue fox that had passed near him earlier, gently petting it while the fox simply laid there quietly.
He… Had tamed that fox.
Ghost immediately revoked his plan on attacking him from stealth. Someone that could get such a strong monster as a pet wasn’t something a normal person would be capable of doing.
He immediately retreated to somewhere safer, leaving the impossibly strong duo behind. The hawk in his shoulder didn’t even try to complain.
But still, to come out here and not even take one of the foxes as a pet would be a loss, so he approached a strong looking one and started the long process of taming it.
It took him a few minutes before he finally finished, even managing to raise his taming skill in the process. As he, and his now two partners decided to head back to the city before any bigger trouble would arise, they heard a howl. So loud, so powerful that it probably crossed the whole forest.
Although common sense told him to go away, his curiosity won over it, and he went back to the clearing, the same one he had seen the duo before.
Except that now, it was completely covered in a thin layer of ice and snow and dozens of huge ice stalagmites covered the area. He paled, understanding that this was probably a display of the might from the three tailed fox.
Trying to understand what was happening, he walked around the area, following the sounds of ice being shattered, until he found the fox, jumping from one crystal to the other, shattering them and adding the shards to a cold aura that followed it. He gulped in surprise, being even unable to understand what would happen if he were caught in that charge.
Yet suddenly, just as the fox jumped again, it suddenly contorted itself for a moment before finally falling on one of the crystals, shattering it. Surprised, it took a moment for him to finally see the golem standing there, at some distance from the fox, simply staring.
Suddenly, it hit him. It was the golem. Somehow, he could toy with such a mighty foe like the freezing tail without even needing to approach it. Just… How strong is he really?
Not only had he managed to tame a Rare boss for a pet, now he is simply disposing of it, like it was nothing but disposable item?
“God dammit. I give up. I’m going back to the bar and stay there until I forget this absurdity.” He said to no one in particular. The two animals at his side nodded in accordance as they walked away from the scene.
The next day, by the time he got to Eldor, the legend of Green-eyes grew even more as he earned a new title due to his behavior with his monster of a pet, and thus, he became known as, Green-eyes, The Brutal Tyrant.
