Chapter 146- Even Death can’t Kill Me

“Shall we begin?” Satoshi asked, cracking his knuckles.

The tension in the air thickened as the demon glared at Satoshi, the demon’s glowing red eyes narrowing with recognition. A flicker of doubt crossed his face for the first time. He clenched his fists, summoning more power to his barrier, which radiated brighter than before.

Satoshi tilted his head slightly, his golden eyes glowing with calm amusement. “You look scared. I mean I am the all powerful after all.” His voice was light, almost playful, but it carried a weight that made even the demon flinch.

The demon roared, hurling himself at Satoshi with blinding speed. His fist, crackling with the energy he’d absorbed, shot forward like a cannon.

Satoshi bursted like a balloon, blood splattered everywhere as what once was Satoshi disappeared.

”Huh? I did it! I killed him”!

Satoshi appeared right behind him, wrapping his legs around the demon’s neck, he smiled as he grabbed the demon’s head, slowly squishing it.

The demon’s barrier immediately pushed Satoshi away, repelling him through buildings

The barrier collided with his chest, releasing a deafening explosion that shook the ground beneath them. Dust and debris clouded the battlefield, obscuring their figures.

When the dust settled, Satoshi stood exactly where he had been, utterly unfazed. Not even his hoodie had a wrinkle. He yawned, brushing a speck of imaginary dirt from his sleeve.

“What was that for? Was that supposed to tickle me? You suck you know”? Satoshi sighed, his tone dripping with mockery.

“Even death cannot kill me, only I can choose my death”.

The demon snarled, raising his hand to unleash the stored energy from his barrier. Waves of kinetic force burst out, tearing apart the ground and obliterating the remnants of the battlefield. Trees were uprooted, rocks disintegrated, and shockwaves rippled out for miles.

Satoshi ended up going through buildings, the abandoned houses immediately collapsed as he lied down in a fallen wooden farm.

“My turn”! he said, a wicked grin spreading across his face with a happy sounding voice.

He vanished, dust left in his quake.

Before the demon could blink, Satoshi appeared behind him, one hand casually gripping the demon’s neck. The demon tried to run, but Satoshi’s grip tightened like a vice.

His fingers digging a hole into the demon’s neck.

“You know what this is”?

Satoshi held one of the red strands in the demon’s neck.

”This is one of your blood vessels, now what if I bursted all of them”.

The demon’s barrier immediately looked shocked, immediately increasing the distance between them using space manipulation.

“Where’d you going little bro?” Satoshi whispered in his ear before slamming the demon face-first into the ground with such force that the earth split apart. Craters formed, and the shockwave blasted debris into the air.

The demon scrambled to his feet, panic etched across his face. He tried to teleport away, manipulating space once more to create an infinite distance between himself and Satoshi. But as he reappeared miles away, Satoshi was already standing in front of him, his arms crossed.

“Peekaboo bitch”.
