“You’re with him too, aren’t you?” His voice was low, guttural, and filled with disdain.
Before any of them could respond, he disappeared from sight, reappearing directly in front of Sayori. She froze as his fist rocketed toward her face.
A blur of motion broke his attack—one of Asami’s summoned canines lunged at the demon, aiming to sink its teeth into his neck. The beast’s powerful jaws closed with a sharp clink against the golden barrier encasing the demon, leaving it unscathed.
The demon ignored the interruption. His fist descended with relentless force, slamming into Sayori’s face. She hit the ground with a sickening crack, and his attacks didn’t stop there. He pounded her into the earth, again and again, the soil cratering beneath her. Blood streamed down her face as her breaths turned shallow and ragged.
“Sayori!” Aoi shouted, rushing forward with a summon of an angel of light. The angel’s form glowed brilliantly as the angel charged towards the barrier, pouring all his energy into breaking through. But it was useless—the barrier absorbed every ounce of kinetic force, shimmering mockingly as it held firm.
The demon turned toward Aoi, his lips curling into a twisted grin. In a blur, his massive fist collided with Aoi’s jaw, sending him flying across the battlefield. Aoi crashed into a jagged boulder, the impact shattering the stone into pieces.
Aoi’s vision blurred as the demon loomed over him, moving faster than he could react. Another punch, this time aimed at his neck, connected with devastating precision. A loud crack echoed through the battlefield as Aoi slumped to the ground, blood pooling beneath him.

“Asami! Run!” Sayori’s weak voice called out, but Asami was already moving.
Five massive stone golems rose from the earth, towering over the demon. They charged him, their heavy limbs crashing into the golden barrier. For a moment, the shield shimmered, the pressure causing it to buckle slightly. But the demon pushed forward as though they were nothing more than obstacles in his path.
“Please… I beg you!” Asami whispered, tears streaming down her face. She clasped her hands together, summoning two massive tree-like creatures from the ground. Their glowing green limbs wrapped around Sayori, healing her wounds as they stood as a shield between her and the demon.
Sayori’s battered body was suddenly surrounded by a wall of ice. The wall began to morph, forming limbs, eyes, and jagged edges. It became a living creature, lashing out at the demon with freezing blasts.
The demon didn’t stop. In a matter of seconds, the ice monster shattered into a thousand shards. The heat radiating from his barrier melted the remnants into steam.
Asami bit her lip, her mind racing. “He’s beating up all of us…” she muttered, pulling a strand of her hair free. It glowed as it transformed into spectral knights, each wielding shimmering weapons. They rushed toward the demon, their attacks relentless, but he took only three steps before obliterating them with a flick of his wrist.
She backed away, fumbling with her earpiece. “Satoshi… Satoshi, we need you!”
A sharp ping interrupted her as a pebble struck her earpiece, shattering it. The demon smirked. “Who were you trying to call?”
Cornered, Asami pressed herself against a rock. Blood dripped from her lips, forming into a crimson sphere. With a cry, she released the energy, summoning a phoenix of flame. It screeched as it dove toward the demon, engulfing him in a fiery explosion.
When the flames cleared, the demon stood unscathed. His barrier shimmered, absorbing the heat like it was nothing.
It had not effect on him, not a single stain or any sign or damage, his fist turned a glowing red, burning up as his fist connected with her chest, she felt a burning sensation unlike the pain of just a punch, it felt as if she was burning alive.
She broke through the rock and fell to the floor, blood gushing from her nose, her head was shaking.
She held a knife in her hand stabbing her own left eye out her her socket, blood gushed out.
