“I forfeit”. She raised her hands up into the air, dropping her racket. “Let’s play something else like boxing or something, you have an overwhelming advantage, what can I do”?
“Yuki run 10 kilometers since you forfeited without doing a single thing”.
“Are you fucking kidding me”?
“Do it within 30 minutes or 10 more kilos”.
“Fuck”!
She started to run full speed around the court, even as she slipped she kept running she had no other choice.
She immediately felt the effects, the muscles in her legs contracting and relaxing extremely quickly.
Jaclyn was paired up with another loner, a man with bright blue eyes, ones like the Gods of Olympus.
His hair was black like the night and he didn’t exude a single drop of energy, his body temperature was that of the surrounding air.
Energy manipulation at its finest.

Her eyes squinted as she picked up the racket. She grabbed the shuttlecock and threw it up into the air.
“Hey whats your name”?
He hit the shuttlecock back with equal force.
He was silent like he was thinking about something.
“It’s Kuro”.
“Like the color black? Why would your parents name you that”?
“Don’t ask me”.
He started to walk around the court, full of confidence in his stance.
“So are you a God”?
“A God? What do you mean by that”?
His eyes glowed blue, like that of Zeus
“Like the ones from Greek Mythology”.
She slammed the shuttlecock into his side of the field.
“What made you say that”?
He jumped up into the sky, hitting it down into the ground.
“I’ve memorized the names of every student in the school, yet I don’t even know your name, it’s like you inserted yourself into the conversation”.
She slid to the left slapping the shuttlecock directly back towards him.
“Maybe I’m just really good at hiding”.
He was fast, way too fast, looking as if he was teleporting across.
She had thought to herself that he spoke in a similar tone to someone familiar. Someone she could never forget
“I’m going to find out who you are”.
Darkness surrounded Jaclyn, all she could see was him, his eyes turned violet as he stared into her soul.
A shuttlecock came flying towards her from above, she gripped the racket harder, the reinforced steel started to bend.
She slammed it as hard as she could, the shuttlecock was like an asteroid flying directly towards him, it moved so fast that it turned blue, breaking the sound barrier.
His eyes had moved equally as fast, slamming it back even faster, the strings on the racket were being pulled further and further, eventually snapping in half.
But the shuttlecock kept flying towards Jaclyn, she couldn’t even see it, he was way too fast.
All she saw was a blur, trying to hit it back, the shuttlecock breaking through the racket.
It pierced through her racket.
“Well I can’t believe I lost, Kuro”.
As the darkness began to fade away, she saw the people that surrounded her badminton match with him.
