Asami walked outside the building, a rush of dust blew against her face.
She held her earpiece and spoke into it.
“Anastasia, isn’t it too coincidental that they immediately knew we were here? Check for spies in the Adventurer’s association, they could be anywhere”.
As she snapped her fingers, tens of small flies bursted from her skin cells as they landed onto her allies, the flies fusing into their skin as it became a small bump on the back of their necks.
“I really can’t trust anyone except myself, who knows? Even Anastasia could be a spy”.
The Demon King’s cult’s main objective was to bring back the Gods Of Olympus onto Earth, to find them all bodies to inhabit but for what purpose?
“Everyone! Split up into groups of 3! If anyone sees him then you should be reporting to the rest of us”
A horde of hawks flew up into the air spreading out into every direction.
Asami’s eyes turned into cameras, her hawks surveying the surrounding areas, the further the hawks go the worse the ability to focus gets.

Shinji outscaled everyone else, staying next to others will only bring him down, he would absolutely decimate even his allies just from the shockwaves.
Yuki followed Itto, the number 8 adventurer and a priest that can heal, debuff and shield. Just staying next to him had guaranteed her safety, not even another S class hero can destroy his shield easily.
Together with him was the Number 5 Adventurer, Ken Musashi, he had short pitch black hair, his skin almost white drained of blood, his eyes blood red just like a demon’s. He had a suit on, just like a medieval baron, he had two sharp canine teeth, sharp enough to bite a steel plate apart.
He spoke in a tired tone, seeming sick of life and himself.
“What does he want with the Gods”?
“These fakers, posing as apostles of God himself, how dare they”.
“Okay Itto, that wasn’t what I asked”.
Yuki stayed in the back, after she saw Neila and Jaclyn being taken away, she didn’t feel safe in the slightest even with the two top adventurers. Yet one question lurked in her mind, why did they only take Jaclyn instead of Shinji, maybe he was too much for them.
Her eyes scanned the surroundings, hyper-aware of every subtle movement. Musashi strolled casually, his hands buried in his pockets, exuding an unshakable calm, as if he were untouchable.
“All hail the Demon King!”
A booming voice echoed as a figure descended from above, crashing into the floor and shattering it. He wore a long black coat and a mask that concealed half of his face, save for his glowing red eyes, the other half looked just like a human. Small, sharp horns protruded from his head—a clear mark of his demonic nature.
“I’m gonna kill all of ya!” he declared, grinning maniacally and bouncing on the balls of his feet like a predator ready to pounce. “Start the beat!”
