There are many arguments on who the strongest god is, and if gods even are the strongest beings. Some people argue that their strength is based on their followers, as it is well known that praying to gods can empower them, while others argue it depends upon their title, as some titles hold much more weight than others. I think it is a bit of both. Take the Goddess of the Sun as an example. She has a very small following, but whenever she starts a holy crusade, all the other gods turn the other way. The sun is what gave life to all without mana, and is therefore very important to both history and the present.
—Sir Elias the Second, Head of the Church of Illinois
“PFFFFFT, YOU LOST HIM TO A BUG! HAHAHAHA!” Elly cackled at Illinois, watching the projection in front of them. She was absolutely thrilled at what was happening. It showed a mosquito flying next to a man in a full robe, which was losing its images by the second. Both parties were utterly drenched in blood, and the man was positively fuming.
Next to Elly sat a mantis, Illinois, enraptured in the projection. Illinois appeared just as mad as the man on the screen, except he actually had smoke wafting off of him, he truly understood the meaning of fuming.

“Elly! Enough of this nonsense! That stupid bug is going to cause all of us problems and you know it! It always causes waves when reincarnators make gods, and never good ones!”
“Oh you worry too much, I’ve got it handled. Just enjoy the show! This mosquito is about to do something good, I can tell!”
“ELLY! DON’T YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME A GOD WAS MADE!?! WE WERE AT WAR FOR DECADES!”
“I said I have it handled, understand?” The projection disappeared, and it was replaced with a new image. It was a great storm wafting across lands, changing everything in its path into pure gold. People, animals, plants, buildings, nothing was spared.
“Al-alright! I understand! You’ve got it handled.” Illinois stopped fuming and seemed to turn blue as he stopped pushing. “I just hope you don’t make the same mistake as last time.” On that note, Illinois disappeared from sight, presumably off to gather some support.
“I swear, you cause no disasters for a few centuries and they all forget why they listen to you. Kids." Elly turned the projection back on to what it was originally and sat down to have a look at it. But the screen was empty, no mosquito or person to be found.
“Ugh, now I have to find them again, I swear, Illinois is such a baby.”
