I woke up to a harrowing realization. I DIDN’T CHECK ON THE EGGS! What the hell is wrong with me!?!?! How did I forget them! I literally prayed for them! I was just too exhausted because of the praying, yeah, I bet Mosquito God took my power or something, and it exhausted me. I didn’t have a chance to. And it was not even slightly my fault! It was all Mosquito God! Wait, no assigning blame can wait, I need to check on the eggs! I looked where I left the eggs last night, and they were gone. GONE! Where do thousands of eggs and hundreds of spider bodies disappear off to!?!?! It’s not that easy! I searched around frantically, but to no avail, there were no signs of any eggs within a hundred meters of their original resting place. WAIT! I CAN TELEPORT TO THEM! Alright, quickly. I searched my links, surprised the first one wasn’t an egg, or the second, or the third… Wait a second. Did they… hatch!?!?! THEY WERE JUST LAYED! Alright, scorpion spiders are slightly scarier than I thought. But where did they go? I picked one at random, and teleported to it.
…I got teleported like a meter to the right… WHERE ARE THEY HIDING!?!?! SPIDERS! COME OUT HERE!
At my command, the spiders unmerged from the webs. Not emerged, unmerged. All around me, bright red spiders’ bodies formed out of the web. They were like water elementals slowly being formed by a lousy golemancer. When they were done, I was surrounded by thousands of spiders.
Was that because of Mosquito God or me…? I know I may have caused a problem with the mosquitoes’ births… I’m gonna assume no. It couldn’t have been me. Yup. Whatever impacted the webs must’ve done the same thing to the spider! The spider egg sacs are basically the same thing as the web, and Mosquito God is for mosquitoes, not spiders. You can’t blame him, it was an honest mistake. But kinda a cool one. I wish I could merge with blood… That is awesome.

Alright, I guess you guys can go back to doing whatever you were doing. At that, the spiders remerged with the web, doing who knows what in there. I wonder… If I used Protection of Blood, what would it do to the spiders…? And would the web collapse…? You know what, I think I’ll wait until I’m clear of the web to use that skill now. Yeah, it seems like a bad idea…
Alright, what can I do now? I think these spiders can protect themselves by now. They are literally everywhere. Alright, before I leave though, I need to do something. Are any of you spiders at that flytrap field? Oh cool. I teleported to the one who said yes. At the flytrap, I found the spider that was there last time. Cool. Alright, can any other spiders get here too?
This time, the spiders arrived in an instant. They all just sprung up in an instance. Cool. Maybe being part of a blood web has its advantages too. Alright spiders! It is time!
Now, I know you were all born today, or possibly yesterday, but it is time for war. Those venus flytraps are evil creatures. They have decimated your fellow cultists, and they need to be destroyed for the good of Mosquito God, so, ATTACK!
At that, my spiders stood there, on their webs. Doing nothing. God dammit. Alright spiders, do you have any way to attack? At that question, my new spiders sent me a rather harrowing image. These spiders, they weren’t scorpion spiders. They were… MOSQUITO SPIDERS! The spiders used some weird blood magic to squeeze a boar dry of blood. It turned into a wrinkly corpse in an instant. The blood in the boar flew out from its eyes, the wrinkling starting there, it spread along the rest of its body. By the time it was done, all of the meat somehow got removed too, leaving a really weird sight. There was nothing left but a loose skin suit around its bones.
Alright… can you do that to the flytraps? I think they drink blood from the ground. Alright spiders, go drain the blood from those venus flytraps! Make them regret ever eating a mosquito!
