The two giant monsters stared each other down from their massive heights, which I guess I was also at. The venus flytrap had ended up growing to be ten times taller than the already massive spider, and it did not look happy. The tension in the air was palpable, or maybe that was moisture from all the blood that's got to be coming off that spider. But either way, it was clear to all what was about to happen. A KAIJU BATTLE!
I mean, this situation is extremely dangerous and will probably even further change the landscape from what the making of the spider did, but how can you not be excited!?!?! WHO DOESN’T WANT TO SEE A REAL LIFE KAIJU BATTLE!?!?!?! ESPECIALLY IF I OWN ONE! Wait, does that mean… KAIJUMON BATTLE!?!?! Yes! This should be a national sport! Wait, maybe it is! I hope it is somewhere. If there are no nations where kaiju battle is a sport, this world deserves the disasters that come with me being around.
Suddenly, while I was mulling over how to make sure Kaiju Battles became a national sport, the flytrap attacked. Its stem extended over the distance between the kaijus, and one of its… mouths? Snapped shut on my spider's head. There were huge clouds of red steam coming off of it, and my spider screeched at this. Its inhuman cry piercing the air and spreading for miles. My spider’s, I’m gonna call it Mosquito God’s Baby from now on, head or what was left of it, merged back into its body then reappeared below the Venus Flytrap from Hell’s head. Its fangs closed around the stem, and Mosquito God’s Baby screeched in pain as it severed one of the Hell creature’s heads. At this, the venus flytrap repeats its first attack, aiming for the new head. Except, when it gets close, two giant portals appear in the air. They looked like black rips in the sky. No light that entered could escape, as if they were blackholes that pulled in nothing but the light. The flytrap stuck its mouth through one portal, and out the other. Its mouth came around two of the spider's legs, and snapped. It completely severed them, a lake’s worth of blood falling from the sky. Mosquito God’s Baby couldn’t stay standing at this, and fell to the ground onto its back. Its remaining six legs swinging in the air as it tried to right itself. The flytrap came in for the finishing blow, trying to bite Mosquito God’s Baby in half. But as it closed its mouth, Mosquito God’s Baby split in half. I regrew its legs and a head on each half, and there were two. There were two Mosquito God’s Babies. That is awesome. I love my Kaijumon. It is the best Kaijumon. It's as invincible as me! The flytrap, clearly seeing its inevitable divide, brought its mouth back to its body and made a defense. A wall of interwoven roots burst from the ground, growing taller and taller, until it reached the plant’s height. The roots then expanded into a dome, covering the whole of the plant until nothing but black, interwoven roots could be seen.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
At this, Mosquito God’s Babies decided to start climbing the roots. They went in a single file line, presumably testing it before the second one came. As the first one started climbing on the roots, it was absorbed. The roots stuck out wherever the spider touched, and sucked the blood out of it. In just a few moments, the spider had been completely absorbed, no longer in sight. Seeing this, Mosquito God’s other baby decided to JOIN ITS BROTHER! WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!?!? WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?!?!
At my question, the entire dome started shaking. It was light at first, barely noticeable, but it slowly got stronger until it was unmistakable. It started shaking so hard it was causing earthquakes for kilometers around. And then it imploded. Blood and black roots collapsed in on themselves, causing a howling wind as air tried to escape from the giant dome of death trying to kill it. And then everything stopped. All that was left of that massive battle was a huge ball of red and black, the size of a mountain, just sitting in a wasteland.
