So… A giant blood spider made out of a forest’s worth of blood. And thousands of other blood spiders. Wait, more than a forest’s worth of blood! Normally a forest’s worth of blood would just be the animals in it, but half these plants use blood instead of water. So, many forest’s worth of blood… Alright. I guess I should get over there. I perused my mental connections to the spiders, finding most of them were now almost exactly the same. Weird, must be some kind of hive mind. I teleported to one of them at random, as it didn’t seem like it really made a difference.
The teleportation sent me well above the clouds, right next to the spider's head. Oddly enough, it was much harder to tell how truly massive this spider was. All I could see was a wall of red that seemed to go on forever. Looking down, I could see the true devastation the birth of this sider caused. It looked like god decided to just scoop a circle out of the ground, leaving behind nothing but the rock underneath.
There were different places around the edge of the disaster that I could finally see without anything to block my sight. On one side, there was the barren waste land I came from, which was somehow more inviting than the one I was above. On another, I could see the field of evil grass that tried to devour me whole. There were different biomes all around too, bigger, more massive forests with what looked like jungle trees, a volcanic region, where the ground was darker than the rock I now knew was beneath it, and even an arctic area, where there was nothing but white for ages.
This world is so strange, yet so oddly beautiful sometimes. I couldn’t help but admire the view, and wonder what else this giant spider was blocking me from seeing.

…Alright. Whatever. I’ll deal with that later. Suddenly, the giant wall of red started to move, and it was quick. I know how you usually imagine giant monsters, as slow and easy to trip, but this thing was anything but. It moved faster than a train, and it did not want to stop. It was so huge it caused wind currents around it, sweeping me up and sending me barrelling with it as it ran.
I managed to stabilize myself, barely and get a look at where we were going. The spider was rushing towards the plot of evil grass, and it was not slowing down. What the hell? There is literally nothing but space wielding acid grass over there, and it is not fun. But, not being one to question my new apocalypse engine, I just let it keep going. It seemed really determined right then, and I was not one to get in the way of something that could probably squish a skyscraper like a bug, let alone a measly bug.
As it neared the field, the grass started to react. It started growing uncontrollably, getting taller and taller until it also reached the mountainous height the spider was. The grass was much more intimidating like this, scarily so. And then, just like the spider had, it started to take a shape. The grass ripped itself from the ground, pulling dirt out as it went. Unlike the spider, the grass started shaping itself at the base. The grass came together to form a few giant stems, weaved together like someone would weave a basket, except it was pulled so tight it was impossible to tell it was made up of different pieces. Then, it moved on to making some leaves. Each leaf came as a pair, connected at their edge. The leaves were made with long, thin appendages on the edges, hundreds of them each. Wait a second… This looks familiar. Hmmm. I tried to think about where I had seen something like this, and soon it became clear. As I saw the leaves snap shut on themselves, I was filled with rage. That dirty grass. I can’t believe it! These plants have been in the way for as long as I can remember! IT WAS A GIANT VENUS FLYTRAP ALL ALONG!
