Hello again. So, Fen has been acting pretty weird.
I worry that our ignoration campaign has been way too successful. He tried to get us to listen to him for hours. Then he spent the next few hatting in a corner, muttering to himself.
Like, crazy mutterings. Stuff like: "... show them... I'll show them all! ...dare they! What makes... going to drive a stake up... MAKE THEM PAY!!! ... regret... Show what... hat can do!"
Stuff like that. For hours. Just, worrying y'know?
Whats more, he has been talking to, and glaring at, the walls and air. I know what you're thinking. 'How can a hat glare?' Well it is more aggressive hat body language in the general vicinity of the walls and air. A certain kind of quiet menace exuding from his felty form.
Kind of hard to describe as anything other than a glare really.
Lena is also worrying.
She finally emerged from her shelter. Her once proud flowing blue river of hair now reduced to a scruffy mishmash of lengths varying in length from a few inches to stubble clinging despondently to her scalp. She let Onica trim it all to one length and now she has a blue fuzz on her head.

I think it looks cute, really brings out her sharp features and bright eyes, and it reminds me of the fluffy fuzzy fur of a puppy. A blue puppy.
But when I told her that she burst into tears and fled back into her refuge.
What did I do?
Onica gave me a glare and went after her, eventually being allowed entry into her sanctum. They've been in there ever since. They even ate dinner in there.
Girls are weird.
Julius is still miffed and/or incredibly pissed off.
I thought it was just because he had some of his stuff snuck from under him without him waking up, but it turns out he is still missing some of his loot. Some coins, a shiny bowl, and the golden shiny beard from ole Bob Flintspine are all missing. He refuses to leave his hoard to look for them, afraid someone will take the opportunity to sneak out some more of his preciouses.
So he is sitting on his hoard, counting his coins, and quietly smouldering. Waiting for a chance to explode in a firey flurry of fearsome vengeance!
He also ate dinner on his hoard. So it was just me and the muttering Fen for dinner at the usual place.
He absentmindedly electrocuted some food into charcoal, thanked me for the meal, and went back to his corner.
So I ate all alone.
Lena and Onica wouldn't let me in their little bunker, and Julius wouldn't let me loiter near his loot.
*Sigh* I miss my friends.
They are right next to me, but they are all a million miles away.
Its somehow lonelier being alone in a group.
I hope something changes soon, because at this rate we won't be able to function as a group for much longer. Trust is one of those things that is both remarkably resilient, and terribly fragile. Kind of like a human skull.
Unlike a human skull, it can be repaired when smashed to smithereens. I think.
I hope.
Goodnight.
