Chapter 930 Redemption

CHAPTER 930 REDEMPTION

The Evil Mandragora had finally revealed her true strength, and it was like seeing an ant fight against a

starving mountain lion.

Ricky had an inkling earlier, but now, he was sure that the true realm of the Evil Mandragora was far

higher than a demi-spiritual emperor. She was most probably a spiritual emperor suppressed by the

Heavenly Void.

Soar, on the other hand, was cornered and left with no choice but to summon his Three-Saber War

God Armor.

"Ricky! Everyone!" Soar cried out when he saw that Ricky and the other three men were bleeding

under the suppression. He was only in a better state because of the strength of his armor.

"Oh my! Your armor is absolutely extraordinary!" said the Evil Mandragora in surprise. For the first time,

her eyes sparkled with greed while she eyed Soar up and down.

She had an extraordinary insight, as she could clearly feel the power of the Three-Saber War God

Armor.

With a playful smirk, she lifted a pale hand in front of her. She quickly condensed petals and attacked

Soar with them, in a bid to gauge how powerful the armor was.

Boom! The petals of evil spirit flew at breakneck speed towards Soar, and they exploded upon contact

with him. The shock waves the explosion emitted were so strong that they blew a powerful wind across

them all.

Bang! Soar couldn't withstand the powerful wind, and he was blown away and rolled over and over like

a bay of hale. However, the damage that the petals caused was blocked by the Three-Saber War God

Armor. As he stood up again, it became clear that he had no injuries, except his wounded pride from

the embarrassing fall.

"How excellent the armor is! It's filled with divine power!" exclaimed the Evil Mandragora gleefully. She

was cackling like a witch now, obviously pleased with the result of her test which exposed how powerful

the armor was. It also inadvertently revealed the hidden divine power it had.

Needless to say, the Evil Mandragora had probably guessed that the armor was at the divine level.

Her desire for the armor was so strong that she was barely disguising the greed. She had a crazed

expression on her face, as she tracked Soar's every moment, and all the while, her eyes were trained

solely on Soar's armor. It was as if she had forgotten about Ricky and his team.

Ricky crept carefully behind her, aware that she was not paying attention to them at that moment, and it

was probably their last chance to help Soar escape. He stood up immediately, his face and body

covered in blood.

"Jasper, Henry! Could you please lend me a hand? Soar's armor might help him escape," Ricky asked

through his telepathy.

"Of course! It is better that one of us would escape, rather than we all die together," Jasper said with a

smile.

"Thank you," said Ricky seriously, a morose smile on his face. "It's a pity that I don't have a chance to

pay you back."

"Ha-ha. Don't worry about it, as you are like a brother to me. Anyway, we shall continue to be brothers

in hell, shall we not?" replied Henry wetly, his lips reddened by blood from his injuries.

In the next moment, the three of them burst their remaining powers and launched their attacks towards

the Evil Mandragora.

To their surprise, Nestor launched an attack alongside them.

"No need to be surprised! We are all going to die anyway. Why shouldn't I use my last strength for

something useful?" Resignation and a pained grimace settled in Nestor's features. He continued, "I

have nothing to lose if he escapes. Better still, he could build a tomb for me."

"Thank you!" nodded Ricky gratefully.

He would take anything he could get since any power they had could bring them one step closer to

survival.

A resounding explosion shook the earth with its power.

The four men's attacks had successfully landed on the Evil Mandragora, and they were now This belongs to : ©.

suppressing her so she couldn't go after Soar.

"Soar, just go! Don't forget what I told you if you manage to escape," Ricky cried out to Soar without

looking. His whole concentration was on the Evil Mandragora that could escape at any moment.

"Ricky, everyone, I'm leaving! See you again!" Soar quickly turned and ran as fast as he could into the

maze. He struggled as the Evil Mandragora pursued him, while Ricky and the others remained firmly as

they stalled the Evil Mandragora off.

"You measly little ants! How dare you destroy my plan?" Soar had escaped, and the airwaves had

begun to settle down. As the air cleared, the Evil Mandragora came out with a ruthless glare on her

face, and she quickly burst out four evil petals which paralyzed Ricky and the other men.

The only thing that saved the four from instant death was her preference for the blood of living

creatures. She needed them alive, so she could maintain her peak state, and it was also a plus that

they would get to watch as the others died in front of them.

Now, the Evil Mandragora had begun to absorb their blood, and she felt herself getting stronger, just as

they could feel that their blood was constantly being drawn.

"Ricky..." Tina's breathless mutter sounded in Ricky's ears. Her muffled sobs were loud against his

weakening breath.

"Tina, I took the path of cultivation, fully aware of the danger it holds. Now, it seems that I've run out of

luck," Ricky consoled her.

"I just hope that the space in my spiritual meridian will not collapse immediately after my death."

Ricky tried to activate the chromatic energy of the ax again, but he had exhausted his power, and so

the ax didn't even budge. It seemed to have used up its power in the last two attacks.

He didn't want to admit it, but he had no more strength to give.

Although the Life and Death Fire and the life and death rune were helping him recover, they couldn't

keep up with the damage caused by the Evil Mandragora's suppression. It was even stopping him from

activating his Blood Vitality Devouring Skill and Evil Devouring Mouth.

If the ax didn't work, then Ricky had to accept his fate.

The Evil Mandragora eyed the four men, who were too weak to move, with a pleased expression on

her face. They weren't a threat to her anymore, so she looked away towards the maze where Soar

disappeared, and said, "Everything here is under my control. How would you escape?"

She disappeared into the maze with a crazed expression, a look that horrified Ricky enough to pray for

Soar to gods he didn't even believe in.

"Soar, I hope you are lucky enough to escape from this Fake Chaotic Space," Ricky uttered solemnly

as he stared after her.

After a quarter of an hour, the four had lost almost half of their blood. Any ordinary middle-level spiritual

kings or low-level spiritual kings would have died if they lost the same amount of blood.

Thankfully, they were nearing semi-spiritual emperors, which allowed them to survive even after they

lost so much of their blood. But regardless of how slow it was, they were still dying.

Bang! Suddenly, the Evil Mandragora and all the demonic power she possessed disappeared in a great

explosion that rocked their world.

Splash! The four men looked up, as the blood absorbed by the Evil Mandragora fell like rain from the

sky.

When they realized that her suppression had fallen as well, they hastily activated their powers to

recover. They couldn't believe what had happened, nonetheless they moved quickly just in case she

came back.

Of course, the blood they lost could not be restored, so they could only practice slowly or consume the

Treasures from Heaven and Earth to recover.

Ricky also activated the life and death runes and the Life and Death Fire to help the other three

recover. It only helped a little because he hadn't come around to perfecting it yet, but it was better than

nothing.

"What happened?" Jasper asked in a rough voice when he had recovered enough to talk. "There's no

living creature that can threaten the Evil Mandragora in the Heavenly Void, right?"

"Maybe it's because of the other powerful creatures in the Fake Chaotic Region." Henry suggested. He

too sounded rough, and every inhale he made sounded harsh and forced.

"Anyway, let's get out of here first. If that devil comes back, she will definitely not give us any more

chances," Henry urged the others. He thought that it was better not to look the gift horse in the mouth,

so he hustled them all to concentrate on healing.

"Who the hell are you? Why is my power useless against you?" They stiffened at once when the voice

of the Evil Mandragora echoed around them. They looked around with narrowed eyes, highly alert

against any danger, although it seemed strange to them that she sounded deathly afraid now, and not

as confident as she had been earlier.
