Chapter 652 Golden Enlightening Statues

CHAPTER 652 GOLDEN ENLIGHTENING STATUES

"The reason why I want to stop the battle is that the Sand Region is about to appear. It will be exciting

to continue the battle while you are in the Sand Region. The battle will be more interesting when you

guys fight for the Massacring Sand," Henry replied with an unfathomable smile on his face.

Pearl's eyes narrowed into slits at Henry's answer and facial expression.

"What an arrogant, sadistic prick!" Soar told Ricky telepathically.

"The Sandy Mutant is an unsolved mystery in the world of martial arts. It is perfectly reasonable that

Henry is proud of it. But it seems to me that his arrogance stems from something deep and strange,

and it is very scary," Ricky said, calmly analyzing the situation.

"Are you satisfied with my explanation, Pearl?" Henry asked, eyeing Pearl's gloomy face.

"Your idea sounds interesting indeed. Since you're the one who brought it up, I don't object to it. I just

want you to be aware that you have offended me by intervening," Pearl replied, her demeanor ice cold

as she stared back at Henry.

"Pearl, please don't look at it that way. There is a fuzzy line between friends and enemies. It is pretty

normal for friends to turn against friends to safeguard their interests. The law of the world of martial arts

is just as cruel as the law of the jungle. The weak fall prey to the strong because the strong rule the

world and everything in it." Henry could not help bursting into laughter.

"Maybe we would become friends when we enter the Sand Region."

"I'm not interested in befriending my enemies," Pearl nonchalantly answered.

"Well, that's a pity," Henry replied sincerely.

A killing aura exuded from his eyes, pervading the ground without anyone noticing. Even though Ricky

possessed the four zones, he was not able to sense that there was something wrong with Henry

because his aura was really subtle, almost concealed from everyone.

"Brian, Pearl has agreed on the plan. What about you?" Henry asked, turning to Brian.

"Since Pearl doesn't want to join forces with me anymore, my chances of defeating Ricky are very

slim," Brian calmly replied with a faint smile on his face. "But you're right. Enemies can be friends."

He paused for a moment and continued, "So, I hope we can be friends when we enter the Sand

Region."

"That's great! It would be a pleasure to be friends with the Nether Army. Your offer seems too good to

refuse," Henry replied politely with a smile.

...

"Tina, you have a profound collection of knowledge about all kinds of martial arts. Can you sense

something wrong with the disciples of the Bing Clan, Bu Clan, and Jiang Clan? It seems to me that they

all have undergone dramatic changes and become totally different. Do you see their eyes? It is odd

that there is not a hint of hatred in them. What happened to them?" Ricky asked Tina in confusion,

scratching his head.

"Ricky, I can sense that they are being controlled by someone, but it is beyond my capacity to know

more," Tina replied anxiously.

'They are being controlled by someone? Is it Henry?' Ricky quietly thought to himself, his heart growing

heavy.

"Ricky, the battle is over for now," Henry said to Ricky, interrupting his reverie.

"Thank you so much, Henry," Ricky replied, balling his hands into fists.

"You're welcome. I just don't want this awesome battle to end this way," Henry said with a faint smile.

Boom! Boom!

Then, something strange happened. The once placid Virulent Sand Flow suddenly turned into a

swirling torrent. Virulent billows surged toward them as an atmosphere of horror descended upon the

entire ground.

Feeling giddy with excitement, everyone stared attentively at the scene. The Sand Region was about to

emerge from the fierce waves.

It took a long time before the Virulent Sand Flow was calm again. In the blink of an eye, it instantly

underwent a substantial transformation. The virulent element disappeared without a trace, and the flow

of the sand suddenly hardened. Then, golden lightning flashed from within it.

The intense attraction that once dominated the entire area vanished off the face of the earth.

In a heartbeat, pillars of golden sand emerged from the ground and formed into a row of gigantic

golden statues. Everyone's mouth hung agape as the stunning splendor of the golden statues shot

towards the sky and chiseled themselves about a hundred meters high. The statues seemed old,

faded, and untouched like relics of an ancient time.

They were different forms of all kinds of creatures.

"Those huge statues were summoned in a short amount of time. I assume they are under the control of

a spiritual emperor," Ricky told Daisy and the others.

"That's right. Those warriors who have entered here all think that it's a spiritual emperor's skill. It also

suggests that the Massacring Holy Ants' Land of Legacy is in the Sand Region," Daisy replied calmly.

They could sense intense Golden Enlightenment emanating from those enormous statues. It was

intense enough that if creatures needed to practice the golden power, they would get twice the results

with half the effort.

"Those are the Golden Enlightening Statues. Intense Golden Enlightenment exudes from within them.

It's perfect for creatures who need to comprehend the Golden Enlightenment," Daisy explained to

Ricky.

"But I think there are only a few creatures who would be willing to comprehend the Golden

Enlightenment around those statues because there is a good chance of entering the Sand Region

through them."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Ricky asked in confusion.

"If creatures want to enter the real Sand Region, they have to get inside the mouth of one of the

statues. Once they are inside the body of the statue, there will be a small space or a secret channel

connecting to the Sand Region. To get there, they have to go through all kinds of dangers and difficult

tests." Daisy paused for a moment and continued, "If they fail the tests, they will either die in there or

be luckily transported out of the statues.

Only one creature is allowed to enter one Golden Enlightening Statue."

"Sounds like a keen competition. It makes me believe this is the Land of Legacy of Massacring Holy

Ants," Ricky replied with furrowed brows.

"We should take action in different directions now. If we're lucky, we would meet each other in the real

Sand Region," Daisy suggested as her eyes sparkled with enthusiasm.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

All the warriors in the vicinity could not resist their strong urges any longer and dashed toward the

Golden Enlightening Statues. They all leaped into the mouths of the statues and disappeared without a

trace.

"See you in the Sand Region, Ricky. We still have unfinished business." Henry smirked at Ricky. Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

"I look forward to finishing it," Ricked answered.

Henry and Yori brought the disciples of the Bing Clan to the Golden Enlightening Statues, too.

Pearl and her companions also followed suit and entered the statues. Before proceeding, she silently

threw Ricky a murderous glance, suggesting that he was doomed to die in the Sand Region.

Ricky nonchalantly returned Pearl's stare without uttering a word.

"We should move now. Otherwise, there would be few options available to us," Ricky urged and swiftly

entered the Golden Enlightening Statues with his friends.

...

Intense power struck Ricky's body before he entered a small golden space that emitted rays of golden

light and exuded the Golden Enlightenment.

He was surprised to find himself in a closed, eerily quiet space.

'I can enter the real Sand Region once I pass the test here, ' Ricky thought to himself. 'But what is the

test?'
