CHAPTER 813 BREAKING THE ARRAY

Then, two figures appeared. Behind them, a group of people followed closely. Without a doubt, they

were the people of the Ling Clan.

One of the two figures was a middle-aged man, a completed spiritual king. Needless to say, he was

proposed, albeit in a tone that was arrogant and lacked empathy.

"Oh, wait, I think I just made a mistake. It should be called the Ling Continent. That's a more befitting

name," he added with a sneer.

"Andrea, don't you think you're wasting precious time, trying to convince me to surrender?" one of the

strong warriors inside the array spat back coldly, directly addressing the Ling Clan's master, Andrea

Ling.

The said warrior was also a completed spiritual king. The only difference was that he was a little

weaker than Andrea Ling. The warrior's enlightening power indicated his identity. He was William Yuan,

Ares' father. He was also the master of the Scarlet King Ape tribe.

"Ha-ha! William, I really don't understand. You are a completed spiritual king, yet why are you fighting

so hard to protect a dynasty that is doomed to collapse soon?" Andrea Ling asked with a smile.

"Worry not, though, for I am a generous master. I am giving you the last chance to retreat from this

array. By surrendering, your Scarlet King Ape tribe will remain as one of the most powerful forces on

this land. Your failure to do as I request will leave me no choice but to destroy all of you."

"What makes you think I have trust in your words? That is absolutely not going to happen. Not on my

watch!" William Yuan insisted stubbornly and decisively.

"Well, in that case, the very day when the array is broken will be the time that all of your men will die,"

Andrea Ling responded with the same level of obstinacy and assertiveness.

"We don't know and we can't surely tell yet what the result will be. Let us wait until you finally break the

array," William Yuan retorted, unperturbed.

"Humph!" Andrea Ling snorted. William Yuan's unwavering conviction was starting to get on his nerves.

"Do you really think I have no idea what you are waiting for? It has something to do with the agreement

among the three clans, doesn't it? Are you really that confident about Ares' and Selene's chances of

survival? How sure are you that they will make it back alive?"

"Damn you, Andrea! Did you send someone else to kill them?" William Yuan demanded for Andrea

Ling's answer with urgency. An idea seemed to have sprung into his mind.

"Ha-ha! Is it really necessary for me to send someone out just to seize their heads?" In all honesty,

Andrea Ling thought William Yuan would know better. His assumption was quite foolish. "To tell you the

truth, Vincent has already broken through and become an upper spiritual king. That being said, I hardly

trust that Ares and Selene would still stand a chance against him."

What Andrea Ling and Colin wouldn't admit was that they already knew that Vincent had met his end in

the hands of another powerful warrior. They both opted not to disclose the saddening news to

everybody else, and so they had been adamant at covering it up with their fake mockery and

arrogance.

Before the news about Vincent's death would spread all over the land, they launched the attack against

the Great Star Dynasty and the Scarlet King Ape tribe. Any delay in their backup plan would only delay

the attainment of their objective.

"What?" William Yuan couldn't believe what he just heard. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.

The space around him broke into pieces because of his anger.

"So, you see, there is no longer any hope for you, right from the beginning. If I guessed it right, your

array can only last for ten days, at most," Andrea scoffed with a sarcastic smile on his face.

"Well, how about you just return here after ten days?" another voice echoed nearby, and a middle-aged

man in a golden robe with an intricate dragon pattern on it appeared.

The middle-aged man was the king of the Great Star Dynasty. He looked very pale and his lips were

dark. His once immense and powerful strength could be no longer felt, a sign that he had dramatically

weakened over the last few days.

"It seems that the king was really poisoned. That means, the Great Star Dynasty will only have ten

days left to exist before it becomes completely erased off the face of this world," the spectators

surrounding the area where the Great Star Dynasty's king appeared murmured among themselves.

Some were worried about the king's current state while the others were simply anticipating what would

happen next.

"Ha-ha! Dylan, look at you! You are so weak that you are not qualified to fight against me!" Andrea Ling

let out a loud and sarcastic laugh as his eyes fell on the now frail king, Dylan.

"Do correct me if I'm wrong, but, the poison in your body has already reached every internal organ in

your body. I'm afraid ten days is the most that you will last."

"Perhaps you are right. But, if you truly want to wipe out the Great Star Dynasty, then the Ling Clan has

to pay a price," Dylan stated. He exchanged a swift glance with William Yuan. Both of them bore a

Andrea Ling would not back down that easily, and so he bantered back, "If one wants to be the most

powerful force in the world, they have to pay the price. I am pretty sure the Ling Clan can afford the

price.

It's a pity that I won't allow you to stay inside for ten more days. Now, at this very day and moment in

time, both the Star Continent and the Great Star Dynasty will be replaced with a new and improved

name. They will soon be reintroduced to the world as the Ling Land and the Great Ling Dynasty,"

Boom! Boom! Upon finishing his words of grandeur, he, along with Colin and the rest of the members of

the Ling Clan, made their moves and began to operate at full speed.

"Is the Ling Clan trying to break this array now?" The witnesses gasped in deep concern.

"That can't be true. If the array could be broken so easily, then Andrea would have done it earlier. He

shouldn't be wasting his time yapping his mouth like crazy in the presence of William and the king," one

of the witnesses pointed out.

That person was smart enough to have noticed.

But his companions begged to disagree. "I don't know. Let's just watch this carefully. We must also

remember that no matter who wins or loses, we are not to interfere. We can't afford to offend either

side."

Strangely enough, William Yuan and Dylan let out a cunning smile as Andrea Ling and his men

prepared for an outburst. Dozens of figures appeared in the array shortly after. The figures turned out

to be the spiritual kings and the demi-immortals of the two clans.

In response, all the people of the Ling Clan took out a blood red pill respectively.

worry.

"Ha-ha! You have good eyesight, even though you've grown frail and weak. This is exactly the Energy

Boosting Pill that can generate power at the intermediate King Level. With this pill, the Ling Clan will

soon defeat in no time and take over the continent," Andrea Ling exclaimed with excitement as if he

had already seen a glimpse of their victory with his own eyes.

All the people of the Ling Clan swallowed the pills. After a few moments, the momentum and strength

of all the members of the Ling Clan had doubled.

"How could it be possible?" Dylan and William Yuan gasped. "Any kind of pill at the intermediate King

Level is very precious. I bet you're wondering how every member of the Ling Clan could have possibly

could offer you. Anyway, enough talk about your incompetence and terrible decision making!" Andrea

Ling mocked. "Have I told you how delightful it is to watch your petrified countenance?" Andrea Ling

laughed with twice the force and the sarcastic emotion. His laughter grew stronger as his momentum

steadily increased in its ferocity.
