CHAPTER 697 THE BIRTHPLACE
"I need you to help me with another thing. I am sure you will be able to fulfill my wishes for me," the
golden figure continued.
"Please tell me, what can I do for you?" Ricky was a little perplexed.
Before he heard the answer, he had already decided to recount everything about Henry, Thiago and
Yori. Moreover, he wanted to ask if they could receive the inheritance of the Massacring Holy Ant tribe,
as they were members of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe and were suitable to utilize that inheritance.
Besides, he wanted to create an opportunity for them to settle grievances against the Massacring Holy
Ant tribe. He intended to show respect to the two ancient tribes.
He was not doing any of it just to show how his nobility. He would not easily give away the inheritance
he would acquire. His act of generosity was planned to be performed for his own benefit.
Henry and his companions had powerful mutant abilities. As one could say from their grief over the
extermination of their own tribe, they were loyal to the ones they cared about. Ricky believed that they
would eventually be grateful for him if he could help them settle grievances and receive the inheritance.
He wanted to motivate them to be his allies and remain loyal to him. To pave way for greater
achievements in martial arts, he needed more exceptional warriors to help him. He was certain they
were the ones he was looking for.
Nevertheless, it was a gamble for Ricky to perform an act of generosity. He might not receive any help
from them at all once they received the inheritance. If that happened, he would feel so helpless that
even killing them all would not bring him any sign of hope.
'I'm risking so much in this play. My main objective is to obtain the Massacring Soil anyway, ' Ricky
thought.
"Sir, please tell me what I can do to help you," said Ricky, who stopped thinking about his plan.
"I have said before that this place is also the birthplace of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe. Therefore, their
inheritance and water of the pond of origin also exist somewhere in this place," the golden figure
explained.
"What? The inheritance and the pond of origin of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe can also be found in
here?" Ricky was a little surprised to hear what the golden figure just said.
"Yes, indeed. It is the birthplace of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe. Naturally, their inheritance can also be
found in here," the golden figure elaborated.
"Listen, young man. I need to tell you that I cannot give you the inheritance and the pond of origin of
the Predatory Holy Ant tribe right now. I want you to promise me that you will find out if there are any
remaining members of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe anywhere in the world.
If you cannot find at least one of them, I want you to look for a warrior with the Predatory Mutant. If you
still can't find one, then the inheritance of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe will be offered to you for
cultivation,"
the golden figure said in a heavy and more serious tone.
"I know it probably doesn't sound fair to you, but that's my one and only final request. I really need your
help with this."
"I totally understand what you said, sir," Ricky nodded. "Sir, could you please take me to the birthplace
of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe? I have something very special to show you when we get there."
"Oh? Something special? I am quite excited about that. If that's the case, then let me take you to the This belongs to : ©.
birthplace of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe right now!" the golden figure replied in an excited and curious
tone.
As soon as his voice trailed away, a burst of golden lights filled the entire place. Ricky and the golden
figure then appeared in an area filled with the power of the Gloomy Enlightenment and the Massacring
Enlightenment. Apparently, it was the birthplace of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe.
More than that, Ricky could also see a pond of black water in the distance. He was certain that it was
the pond of origin of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe.
"Only holy tribes have specific permanent birthplaces. We, the Massacring Holy Ant tribe, were not a
holy tribe when we first started. We had to create a specialized birthplace when we became one. There
are two ways for a new holy tribe like us to create such birthplace. One is to build it with the help of
some original energy within the birthplace of a long-established holy tribe. The other way is to build it
with the power of the new holy tribe themselves, but this could take a much longer time to finish than
the first method," the golden figure explained.
"The most important function of the birthplace of a holy tribe is not really about preserving the
inheritance and the pond of origin. It is about creating an opportunity to reproduce creatures of the holy
tribe after their extermination."
"That sounds amazing!" Ricky was surprised to hear everything the golden figure was saying.
"However, there is only a little chance of reproduction. For instance, even if the Predatory Holy Ant tribe
had already lived and reproduced for several eras, it may cost its birthplace one or two more eras to
regenerate posterity," the golden figure added.
"Maybe creatures of the Predatory Holy Ant tribe could be born again in this era.
As for us, the Massacring Holy Ant tribe, we probably need at least four or five more eras to regenerate
our posterity, because we had just become a holy tribe in the last era."
"Sir, if that's the case, maybe you can seal the whole birthplace of the Massacring Holy Ant tribe with
your power. By doing this, your tribe will regenerate posterity and start developing again after some
time," Ricky said expectantly.
"As I said, the chance to actually pull it off is very little," the golden figure responded.
"I also said that you probably had an exceptional amount of good luck, or else you shouldn't have made
it here. So I've decided to let you gain full control of our birthplace. I hope our birthplace can share
some of your good luck so that it will take less time to regenerate the posterity of our tribe.
Are you willing to help me with that?"
"Sir, if I take the birthplace and I end up perishing too early, the last hope of ever reviving your tribe will
be gone," Ricky murmured in a worried tone.
"Yes, it truly is very risky! I gamble on your extraordinary amount of good luck and your potential to be a
very durable and superb warrior," the golden figure replied.
"Ha-ha! All right, Sir. I accept your request. You put your complete trust in me. If I would reject your
request, then I obviously don't deserve to be here," Ricky said with a delighted laugh.
"I promise that I will try my best to accomplish this mission. If I realize that I will perish before my
mission is completed, I will try my best to find someone else reliable to complete it for me."
"I just want to offer you my gratitude on behalf of all the other late members of the Massacring Holy Ant
tribe," the golden figure said.
"No, I am the one who should say thank you, because I am going to receive the inheritance of the
Massacring Holy Ant tribe that you are willing to give me," Ricky said with a grin.
Ricky was convinced that he would be the only one to receive all of the inheritance of the Massacring
Holy Ant tribe. He believed that Henry and his companions would not vie with him for that, because
they would not give away the legacy of their own tribe and receive that of another tribe!
"So what was it that you wanted to show me?" the golden figure asked immediately.
"Sir, there it is!" Ricky said with a mysterious laugh. As he spoke, he waved his arm and sent Henry
and his companions out from the Devourer Zone. Their full strength was still suppressed by Ricky's
runic power.
"They are…" Taking a first look at those who suddenly appeared, the golden figure wondered why
Ricky brought him a bunch of strangers.
But then after a while, he began to tremble with excitement. As a member of the Massacring Holy Ant
tribe, a tribe closely related to the Predatory Holy Ant tribe, he could immediately tell who they were by
sensing the power within their bodies.
"How...how could this be possible?" the golden figure said in a thrilled voice. His calmness was gone in
an instant. Their presence totally caught him by surprise.
As for Henry and his companions, they were also caught off guard when they saw birthplace of the
Predatory Holy Ant tribe.
