CHAPTER 1040 THE THINGS LEFT BY RICKY'S MOTHER
"What? You know where my father is?" Ricky was left flabbergasted by Jeffrey's words
"Yes. Your mother told us and we have been secretly protecting him all these years." Jeffrey imparted.
"I see. Sorry to be a bother, but I need to get to him. I will explain everything to my father when I see
him," Ricky said as he nodded. A look of expectation and longing lingered in his eyes.
"Alright, young master. I'll go send for someone to take your father here at once," Jeffrey said and
made a turn to leave.
Ricky placed a hand on Jeffrey's shoulder, stopping him. "That's okay, but I want to go myself." He was
feeling too eager and couldn't wait any longer.
"But young master, your mother has left something that you need to go to fetch by yourself, so I—"
"What is it?" Ricky interrupted.
"We don't know what it is. It's in our ancestral land," Jeffrey said.
"The ancestral land? It seems your clan is so extraordinary." Ricky couldn't help but smile. "Please take
me there!"
"It's actually inside my body!" Jeffrey said as he gently pointed to himself.
The next moment, his right eye sparkled and a black figure slowly came out from it. The figure soon
formed into a bronze body.
"Young master, this is the ancestral land of our clan," Jeffrey explained to Ricky.
As he gazed at the bronze body, Ricky felt an inexplicable impulse inside his blood and veins as if there
was something about it that resonated with him.
'It seems that my blood power is really the same with the Giant blood power. But I wonder what kind of
blood power it is? Does having the Giant blood power mean that I can expand my body?' Ricky thought
to himself.
"Sir, you said that my mother had the same blood power as your clan. Could you please tell me where
the blood power originated from?" Ricky asked. Since they were on the same team, he must know
some information about the source of the Giant blood power.
"Of course. But if you still think it's a bit unrealistic after my explanation, just please refrain from
laughing," Jeffrey said with a smile.
"I promise I won't laugh. Sir, you can just call me by my name. It's kind of strange to hear 'young
master'," Ricky said.
"All right, Ricky." Jeffrey's smile got wider.
Apparently, he had known Ricky's real identity long ago.
"The blood power of our clan comes from the holy beings of the Celestial Land. What I know is that our
ancestors, the holy beings, died because during the war. Countless powerful warriors of our clan also
died, and eventually, our clan slowly declined.
After so many years, we retreated from the Celestial Land to this place. If it were not for the help of
your mother, we wouldn't have become the spiritual-emperor force that we are now."
"So, you are from the Celestial Land!" Ricky said in a low whisper.
He suddenly thought of the Holy Three-Saber's words once again.
'Then, my blood power really traces back to the Celestial Land, ' he thought.
"Sir, no offense, but your blood power comes from holy beings. You shouldn't have declined so
abruptly!" Ricky lamented.
"This is a deadly weakness of our advanced bloodline. The stronger the blood power, the better. Once
there is no suitable overmatch in the family, the entire family's blood power will degenerate," Jeffrey
sighed.
"There's no stopping it once it starts to degenerate. It's as if this blood power is cursed. And the longer
it passes, the worse the situation will be, unless there will be a genius who breaks the curse and reach
the initial higher level the blood power once was."
"That is very surprising. I wasn't aware of that," Ricky commented as he was a little surprised.
"Maybe this is the will of the heavenly law. It cannot allow too many powerful creatures to appear in the
world," Jeffrey said.
"So, in other words, if you want to get rid of the invisible curse concerning the blood power, you must
find a genius who could cultivate to the level of the holy being," Ricky said.
"That's right." Jeffrey smiled sadly.
"There were a number of times that we had given up in the past because it seemed impossible for us to
succeed. But now, we have a chance, and that's you."
"Me? But I'm not a member of the Ju clan.'' Ricky's face scrunched up in confusion.
"But your bloodline is the same as ours. When you reach that realm, the bloodline's curse of our clan
will disappear intangibly. This is the special power of bloodline." There was a hopeful look on Jeffrey's
face as he spoke.
"Well, I see now. It seems that I still know very little about the martial arts world," Ricky said as he
shook his head slowly.
"So that means, if I want to know my blood power type, I have to collect the eight pieces that were
mentioned by my mother."
"Maybe your mother asked you to do this first because you are not yet strong enough. As far as I'm
concerned, our branch has very strong enemies." Jeffrey analyzed the situation.
"Is that so?" Ricky realized that he was too lacking in strength.
At that moment, he understood that he still had a lot more to explore.
'What could she possibly have left for me? In the past, I got my regained spiritual meridian and the
mysterious axe spirit. What could it be this time?' Ricky wondered, full of expectations.
The next moment, Jeffrey sent him to the ancestral land of the Ju Clan.
The ancestral land was teeming with overwhelming original energy. As soon as he entered, Ricky
immediately felt it. The mysterious axe in his soul sea couldn't help wanting to absorb it.
It was fortunate that Ricky had the right mind to stop it from doing so. The Ju Clan had already suffered
from their decline several generations ago. If the mysterious axe absorbed the original energy, the Ju
Clan would face more serious situation.
The next thing he felt was a strong resonance from the blood power inside his body.
The ancestral land was like a fairyland that was filled with invisible aura and mystery.
In the center stood the giant stone statues, appearing as if they were supporting the sky.
There was no need for Ricky to go inside too deep. Jeffrey told him that the things left by his mother
were on one of the giant statues.
So he assumed that Ricky should be able to feel it since he and his mother had the same blood power.
"Ricky, the ancestor of this Ju Clan is more powerful than we could ever think. I cultivated in the Divine
Manor for a period of time, and I know how it feels when facing the aura of a holy being. And I can feel
it right now, in this ancestral land. I can feel the aura of a holy being.
What I'm saying is, the ancestor of the Ju Clan is very likely a powerful holy being," the Evil
Mandragora stated loud.
"A holy being? That seems to be a bit too far-fetched, don't you think?" Ricky dismissively said.
"Well, I'm curious about what level your mysterious mother is at. And even more so, which level does
your blood power correspond to?" the Evil Mandragora said.
"I'm curious too, you know." Ricky shrugged as he shook his head.
He then calmed himself down and started with his task. He approached every giant stone statue and
sensed them carefully one by one.
'Mother, what did you leave for me this time? Why can't you see that what I really want is to only see
you?' He gave out a sigh. This is the property of Nô-velDrama.Org.
He was deep in his thoughts when one of the giant stone statues lightly buzzed.
He felt some resonance as the sound rang.
The stone statue then suddenly radiated a beam of golden light. The light condensed into a shadow of
a giant golden axe and drew towards Ricky's hand, forming a mark.
