Chapter 659 Temporary Truce With Pearl

CHAPTER 659 TEMPORARY TRUCE WITH PEARL

"Right, but whether it is true or not, we have to go," Terrence said gravely, hearing Ricky's words. "He

asked us to go to the sandy lake that came out of nowhere. Is there a connection between the Land of

Legacy of Massacring Holy Ants and the sandy lake?" Terrence then asked.

"Maybe. This gathering might be our last one. We will come out of this either winners or losers," Ricky

answered almost to himself.

They fell silent after that and marched toward the sandy lake.

… All the creatures in the Sand Region were heading toward the sandy lake. No creature here could

resist it even if it meant having to face the mysterious Henry.

The sandy lake had already expanded, and now it was as large as several cities combined. If the

expansion continued, the whole Sand Region would eventually be covered by the sandy lake.

Within several days, all the creatures gathered around the lake.

Of course Ricky and his friends came as well.

And so did Pearl and the others.

However, at this moment, Ricky and Pearl did not want to pick a fight against each other because they

were both under immense pressure from Henry.

Pearl even told Ricky using her internal power, "Ricky, the feud between us is about life and death, but I

think we should let it go for now because neither of us would like to be killed by Henry."

Ricky was surprised at Pearl's words. He smiled. "It's quite surprising. I didn't imagine that the arrogant

Pearl would say such words.

If I'm not mistaken, before you entered the Sand Region, you said that you would never make friends

with your enemies."

'It seems that Henry did put Pearl under pressure. Otherwise, she wouldn't have said those things to

me considering who she is, ' Ricky thought to himself.

"You misunderstand. I'm not trying to make friends with you. I just want to put aside our fight until we

know who Henry really is. When all this is done, I will still kill you," Pearl replied remorselessly.

Pearl really did not want to tell Ricky about this, especially because Ricky was her family's ultimate

enemy in the world of martial arts. It was against her pride to even think about forging an alliance with

him albeit temporary.

However, Henry's power and mystery imposed a greater threat to her.

The only one by her side that could actually help her was Ronson. However, Pearl knew what Ronson

was up to. When push came to shove, Ronson would betray her without hesitation.

If she did not stop the fight with Ricky now, Ronson would probably join Henry's side. Then she would

truly have no other way.

Of course she had also thought about a truce with Henry. However, after careful consideration, she still

chose Ricky.

"I've already made it clear. Do you agree or not?" Pearl said coldly.

"You should've known that I would agree. You wouldn't have asked otherwise," Ricky smiled.

In fact, even if Pearl did not ask, Ricky would stop the fight with Pearl for the moment. Henry was a

bigger threat.

Ricky exchanged glances with Pearl, and their temporary deal was made.

Then, Ricky used his internal power to tell Terrence and Soar about their temporary truce and that they

would fight together against Henry.

Of course Terrence and Soar agreed.

"Ricky, Pearl, I didn't imagine we'd meet again in such a short time." Henry was now floating above the

sandy lake, smiling at Ricky and Pearl.

His smile was still so nice and genuine. It was disturbing how Henry's smile made one forget that he

was the one who killed Brian and Adrian in cold blood.

"You've invited me here. How can I refuse? Besides, nobody can refuse the temptation of what you've

told us," Ricky smiled back.

"Temptation. Guess an ace genius like you also has a greedy heart just like the rest of us," Henry

smirked.

"Of course. After all, I am just a middle spiritual king," Ricky smiled gently.

"Is that so? Oh, right. If I remember it correctly, you still have a life-and-death battle with Pearl," Henry

answered.

'Does he already know that Pearl and I have agreed on a temporary truce?' Ricky thought to himself.

'He's truly a difficult enemy.'

"With you in the picture, we can only stop the fight for the moment. Besides, what you've told us is far

more important than our fight," Pearl interjected.

"You are right. We have to put aside our feud when opportunity comes. After all, a lost chance never

returns." Henry smiled and said no more.

For someone like Henry, an alliance between Ricky and Pearl meant nothing.

"Henry, save these unnecessary talks. You invited all of us here, so you have to make things clear.

Otherwise, I would think you are fooling all of us warriors," Ricky warned.

"I wouldn't dare. Ricky, please don't talk nonsense," Henry smiled. "Remember, I killed two strong

enemies from the Nether Army for you."

"And I appreciate that, but this is a different story," Ricky answered. Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

At the moment, everyone looked at Henry eagerly.

Henry did not seem to be bothered. He was still completely calm and relaxed. Maybe he still would not

care if all the warriors joined together against him.

"It seems that all of you can't wait for the Land of Legacy of Massacring Holy Ants. I won't keep you in

suspense anymore," Henry smiled, glancing around.

"The Land of Legacy of Massacring Holy Ants is in this Sand Region, and its entrance lies within this

sandy lake."

"What? The sandy lake is the entrance? How is that possible?" all the warriors said in disbelief. They

all stared at the sandy lake.

So did Ricky and Pearl.

"Everyone, I'm not quite finished. If you want to enter the Land of Legacy of Massacring Holy Ants, just

fuse the floating sand together."
