CHAPTER 1039 JEFFREY JU
"So next, I need to go to the Giant Sect because there is some news about my mother, and I need to
go to find out more," Ricky said with a serious look in his eyes.
"If it's the Giant Sect, it will be simple. When the Dominant Top Elder of the Ju Clan made a
breakthrough and reached the spiritual emperor realm, I protected him, so when you arrive there, tell
them that you are my disciple, and they will tell you everything," Mason instructed Ricky.
"It's not proper for me to ask more about your business, so I won't. I know you have already made up
your mind, but Easton, Langston, and I shouldn't go with you, because you will be more in danger of
exposure if more people come with you."
"I agree," Ricky answered, nodding his head earnestly. "But..." Mason started suddenly, and his
eyebrows were scrunched up as if he was thinking hard about something.
Then, he looked at Ricky seriously and said, "But I want to make sure you will be safe, so allow me to
leave a Space Sign on you!"
"Elder Mason, there's no need for you to do that. It will consume your life span!" Ricky refused
vehemently.
"Don't worry. My Space Sign contains the array power, so it will only consume a hundred years of life to
transfer you from the Spirit Sect to the Giant Sect. For a spiritual emperor, the life span of a hundred
years is nothing more than a drop of water in a bucket," Mason said immediately to comfort Ricky, who
still looked hesitant.
"Elder Mason, you may lose the opportunity to make a breakthrough just because of this one hundred
years of life, right?" Ricky asked. "So, I can't accept the Space Sign.
Besides, I can go and leave as I please, with no one noticing. Otherwise, I couldn't have come from the
Eastern Land to the Western Land, so please believe in me."
"Okay, I understand. And because you refused the Space Sign, I can see just how different you are
from Carney, and I know that you are destined to surpass him someday!" Mason appreciated Ricky
more after he saw Ricky's genuine concern for him.
Ordinary disciples and even Carney would not refuse the Space Sign from a spiritual emperor because
it could save their lives, but Mason knew from Ricky's tone that he was not lying.
"So long then, and be careful!"
"I know! Elder Mason, please take care of Soar and my friends," Ricky said.
"Ha-ha, your friends? You have a special relationship with that woman who has the Feminine Mutant,
don't you?" Mason joked after hearing Ricky's words.
Ricky could not stop the blush on his face, as he felt a little embarrassed after seeing Mason's teasing
smile.
"Don't worry. I will try my best to help them during this period."
"Thank you very much, Elder Mason!"
After that, Ricky headed to the Giant Sect secretly.
He followed the route that Gerry gave him, and sneaked into the Massacring Zone.
The Giant Sect was located in a wide plain called the Giant Plain. As soon as Ricky arrived, he could
see that many disciples had activated the Giant blood power. They then began to compete with each
other.
Once he stepped foot inside the place, he promptly broke the jade tablet that Gerry had given to him.
Just a short while later, Gerry came, rushing. He looked at Ricky and told him, "Kenney! I didn't expect
that you would be a genius who cultivates the chaotic power. The battle between you and Carney was
amazing!" Ricky smiled in return and said, "Why are you here? You joined the Spirit Sect, so I thought
you would be there, focusing on your cultivation."
"It's because I knew you would come here, so I came back ahead of time. I knew that once you arrived, Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
I will get a lot of benefits from our Dominant Top Elder," Gerry said with a wide grin.
"Can you take me to meet him now?" Ricky asked excitedly.
"You look so excited, but I can't blame you because this news is about your mother, after all!"
Then, without any hesitation, Gerry led Ricky to a remote place of the Ju Clan. They stopped in an
empty place where there was only a shabby wooden house.
"The Dominant Top Elder is inside. You can go in now," Gerry told him and gestured for him to enter the
wooden house.
"Come in, please." Just then, a clear voice sounded in Ricky's Soul Sea.
He immediately stiffened at this, but he only nodded to himself and -then quickly entered the wooden
house.
It was as shabby inside as it was outside, where there was only a single table, a chair, and a lone
cattail hassock.
The Dominant Top Elder of the Ju Clan sat on the cattail hassock with his legs crossed. He was a
middle-aged man with a few strands of white hair, and he was clothed plainly and was as unadorned as
the house they were sitting in.
The man stood up immediately when Ricky entered, and then he said to Ricky respectfully, "Young
master, my name is Jeffrey Ju. I have been waiting for you to arrive for a long time."
Ricky was taken aback. Why did the middle-aged man address him as the young master?
"Sir, I don't understand your words!" Ricky quickly bowed and replied respectfully, as in his mind, he
thought that he should show his respect to every spiritual emperor.
"You will understand once I explain it to you clearly." Jeffrey Ju smiled mysteriously, and there was a
trace of excitement on his face.
"I'm all ears to your explanation." Ricky nodded.
"Young master, I think you already know that the only reason I was able to reach the spiritual emperor
realm was the help of a mysterious woman... That mysterious woman is your mother, young master."
"It was really my mother!" Hearing that, Ricky remembered Gerry's story, and tears welled up in his
eyes. At that moment, many doubts assailed his mind.
However, curious as he was, he did not ask any questions, as he knew that Jeffrey Ju would tell him
everything.
"Young master, your mother had once come here to show her blood power, and we found her blood
power was from the same bloodline with the Giant blood power, but it was far stronger compared to the
latter.
That is where the Ju Clan's blood power came from, which is why we regard your mother as the master
of our clan.
And our master didn't disappoint us. She made the Ju Clan a spiritual-emperor force in a short time."
"Where is my mother now?" Ricky asked, fidgeting, as it was what he was most concerned about.
"She asked me to deliver a message to you, young master," Jeffrey Ju said as his face turned serious
all of a sudden, and it made Ricky inexplicably nervous.
"What did she say?"
"She said that you can meet her only when you collect all the eight pieces!" Jeffrey Ju replied.
Ricky fell into silence after hearing that. It was just as he had expected. He had a strong intuition that
he could see his mother only after he gathered the eight pieces of the mysterious axe, and now, he was
proven correct.
Still, despite knowing ahead of time, he could not help but feel disappointed that he could not see her
at that moment.
'Mother, why can we meet each other only after I have collected the eight pieces of the mysterious
axe?' At this moment, Ricky was very confused.
However, he knew that since his mother had said so, she must have valid reasons. He could sense that
his mother also wanted to see him, but she had no other choice.
'Then I have to collect the eight pieces of the mysterious axe as soon as possible, ' Ricky thought to
himself.
He was quite confident that he would get the piece in the Sky-breaking Dome, so it was fair to say that
he would have two pieces very soon. He decided that he would have to find the other six pieces as
soon as he could.
"Did my mother tell you anything else?" Ricky asked after he calmed down.
"Yes. She said that you need to stop your father from looking for her because it is too dangerous,"
Jeffrey Ju replied.
"Really? But I don't even know where my father is," Ricky said, longing for his father even more
eagerly.
Jeffrey Ju's eyes sharpened at this, and he leaned forward to whisper something to Ricky, his voice
quiet against the beating of Ricky's heart. "The Ju Clan knows where your father is."
As soon as the words fell from his lips, Ricky leaned away, looking at him in shock.
