CHAPTER 589 THE SANDY MUTANT AND ITS POWER

The Ruin Holy Fire contained massive ruin power. Its power had the potential to deprive creatures of

their vitality. It was precisely this ability that made the Ruin Holy Fire rank higher than all the other types

of holy fires. There was almost no holy fire that could suppress its tenacious power.

However, his Ruin Holy Fire was currently being suppressed by another fire of the same attribute.

Henry could only think of one other possibility.

There was no mistaking it—it must be the Ruin Fire!

'The Ruin Fire! How did he possess it?' Henry somberly thought to himself.

He suddenly came to realize that it was silly of him to reckon Ricky's power by comparing his abilities

to that of an ordinary warrior's. How could he forget that Ricky was a prominent ace genius!

"Now, that makes you worthy of being my opponent," Henry murmured to himself.

Ricky's Ruin Fire had left such a strong impact on him that he finally began to recognize Ricky as a

formidable rival.

While he was in a daze, his Fiery Sandy Punch was no match against the attack of Ricky's Flame

Torrent. The latter's Flame Torrent broke through his Fiery Sandy Punch effortlessly, which then

crashed heavily on his chest.

Henry was not even able to put up a defense. Still, he managed to flash a smile at his foe, as though

he had everything under control.

But, before he could even prepare a counterattack, a torrent of flame directly pierced through his body

and left an awfully large wound on his chest.

Strangely, however, there was no blood that flowed out from the wound. Henry used his sand power to

quickly patch up his wound and recover in a matter of seconds.

Everyone was left speechless and dumbfounded after witnessing how Henry effortlessly healed himself

with sand.

Gasping at his sudden discernment, Terrence exclaimed, ''The Sandy Mutant! Now I am finally starting

to understand its true power and potential.'' He was finally able to overcome the shock of his discovery

and return to his senses.

Henry had the ability to transform all of the tissues in his body into the quicksand. Thus, with the power

of the Sandy Mutant at his side, it explained why he would not be afraid of any physical attack.

''What incredible power the Sandy Mutant possesses! How on earth did it end up in Henry's hands and

not in mine? I don't understand this absurdity!'' Justin was unable to hide the envy and indignation that

resided deep within his heart.

''If only I had the might of the Sandy Mutant, then Jasper and Ricky would be nothing before me.''

Greed immediately took over Justin the moment he had regained composure over his envious heart.

His greed was so powerful that he had already plotted on killing Henry and seizing the Sandy Mutant

soon after. Of course, he would not put his ideas into action right at that moment. He still needed Henry

to keep fighting Ricky and help him leave the Virulent Sand Flow.

''Henry and Ricky, I shall obtain all of your power and make it mine, ' Justin swore to himself. He would

make both Ricky and Henry his stepping stones to success.

Slowly, Ricky's flame began to take form once again.

Ricky's body appeared as the Flame Torrent's restructuring was completed. After figuring out the true

power of the Sandy Mutant, Ricky figured out that if he chose to keep up with his battle against Henry,

then it would be all for naught.

''Your Sandy Mutant is truly extraordinary," the ace genius said. "I'm afraid none of my physical attacks

can damage, or let alone leave a scratch on you.'' Ricky was filled with nothing but praises for Henry's

abilities.

''You are also far greater and stronger than I have imagined. Even the innate spiritual emperors find it

extremely difficult to secure a sacred fire. And yet, you possess one in your hands.'' Henry couldn't help

but reciprocate Ricky's admiration and respect. This belongs to : ©.

Upon hearing how Henry applauded Ricky's abilities, Justin and his companions felt even more

compelled to kill Ricky and keep all his treasures for themselves.

Who could resist the sacred fire and all of Ricky's powers?

''Looks like you have already recognized the Ruin Fire. However, though I may have its power, I am still

unable to outmatch your Sandy Mutant, '' Ricky replied, aware of his Ruin Fire's limitations. On the

other hand, he did not appear too surprised after Henry was able to recognize his sacred fire.

''If my calculations are correct, I can do damage to your real body as long as my enlightening power is

much more powerful than yours. Only in this manner will I be able to defeat your Sandy Mutant.''

''You're right. Judging by the fact that you are able to immediately pinpoint the weakness of my Sandy

Mutant, you are truly living up to your title as an ace genius.'' The way Ricky deduced the Sandy

Mutant's weak area was hard to ignore for Henry.

''Only those who are much more powerful than I am can defeat my Sandy Mutant. Who knows? Maybe

your full strength holds a tad more powerful than mine. Sadly though, that won't do. It will still be

insufficient for you to be able to harm me."

"I can do you some damage while you cannot do anything to injure me in return. This battle has to be a

definite victory for me.''

''Well, I don't think so. I have admitted that I cannot harm you. However, how are you so sure that your

power is enough to defeat me?'' Ricky was rather calm. He was even more composed after he was

able to analyze Henry's power.

''It is not about assurance. It is just that, I have confidence in my power, '' Henry said, his face exuding

confidence and pride.

''I respect you as a true ace genius. Thus, I am going to attack you with my full strength.''

''Really?" Ricky grinned at first, then cocked an eyebrow. "Then I am really looking forward to that.'' The

grin on his face faded and soon it was replaced by a decisive expression.

Presently, his power was not enough to break Henry's defense. But he would rather give it his all and

fight than sit around and wait until he reached his demise.

Boom! Boom!

The moment Ricky stopped talking, an outbreak of maximum energy emerged from the two rivals.

Five different kinds of energy, namely, metal, wood, water, fire and earth all visibly gushed out of

Henry's Sandy Mutant.

''My Sandy Mutant is able to combine with the Five-element Quicksand. I'll be using the power of the

Five-element Quicksand to test your Golden Body's endurance," Henry announced domineeringly while

his eyes flashed colorful lights.

The whole place was then filled with the flowing sound of sands. Soon after, the Five-element

Quicksand quickly transformed and took on the form of what appeared to be a flower. The Five-element

Quicksand Flower wasted no more second and attacked Ricky ferociously with its ruin power.

''Five-element Quicksand, attack!"

As Henry's Five-element Quicksand Flower neared him, Ricky sensed a strong aura similar to that of

his Chaotic Fire Zone's Chaotic Fire Skill. It possessed a tinge of primitive power.

It was not surprising how the five elements easily merged into a combined force of primitive power

while encased within the supreme enlightenment. It simply justified why Henry's attack also contained

such primitive power.

''Let's get started, then! I am also eager to see whether your Five-element Quicksand can defeat my

Golden Body or not.'' Ricky's firm resolution echoed in every word he uttered.

Next, he manipulated the massacring runes so that they merged with the first level of Ultimate Golden

Body and boosted its power. After all the days of harnessing and cultivating, Ricky had cultivated his

first level of Ultimate Golden Body from the initial state to the minor achievement.

Now, his Ultimate Golden Body was capable of completely defending against the mighty attack that

was launched by Henry, a second-class middle spiritual king.
