CHAPTER 1009 OSWALD
"Unfortunately, there is no leader now. A lot of powerful Killing Metal Dragons had died in the battle in
the previous era, including the late leader," the Dragon Intent Grass said. "Since then, the Dragon tribe
has become leaderless.
The Life Wood Dragons and the Soft Water Dragons have been fighting with each other for three
hundred years, and I do not know what the situation is now."
"Well, that only means that there is no trace of any Heaven Melting Dragon in the entire Dragon
Island," Ricky replied.
"Yes, that's true. In fact, only the Great Dragons accompanied by the Heaven Melting Fire are
considered as the real Heaven Melting Dragons," the Dragon Intent Grass said. "Some other fire
dragons are not really Heaven Melting Dragons."
"In that case, do you think there will be much resistance once Soar returns to the Dragon tribe?" Ricky
inquired.
"If he is just an ordinary fire dragon, then I'm sure that he will be fine. But since he is a Heaven Melting
Dragon, I'm sure that the Life Wood Dragons and the other Heaven Melting Dragons will definitely get
in his way and make his return to the Dragon tribe more difficult for him. As for the reason behind it,
you should know that by now. That is the scheme against each other," the Dragon Intent Grass
answered.
"Well, that's for sure." Ricky spoke in a low voice.
"On the other hand, I urge you not to go to Dragon Island before your strength reaches the Sage Level.
Otherwise, those dragons will probably kill you, just like what they did to the three Flood Dragons in the
Dragon Cave," the Dragon Intent Grass added.
"However, things are not the same for the Killing Metal Dragons. After all, the fact still remains that the
Killing Metal Dragons' power had just declined, causing the number of their powerful warriors and
geniuses to dwindle. Despite this, I think that they still have many powerful warriors."
"Wait. The Killing Metal Dragons?" Ricky murmured lightly. "Can you tell me the accompanying fire of
the Killing Metal Dragons?"
"Well, as it turns out, you have it. What you have is the fire with the metal element. It's called the
Heaven Slaughtering Fire," the Dragon Intent Grass reported. "Let me ask you something. Have you
also happened to see a real Killing Metal Dragon?"
The Dragon Intent Grass gulped some air. He was taken aback by the possible fact that Ricky, indeed,
had seen a true Killing Metal Dragon once in his life.
"Well, I am not sure about that, but I got the Heaven Slaughtering Fire from a friend. I traded something
to him in exchange for his Heaven Slaughtering Fire," Ricky replied. "I was not powerful at that time, so
I couldn't figure out if he had the breath of a Great Dragon or not."
"In that case, I can say for sure that your friend is a Killing Metal Dragon. I don't believe that there is
another man aside from you who can control the Heaven Slaughtering Fire.
By the way, what did you exchange the Heaven Slaughtering Fire with?"
"Well, I kind of traded him the Heaven Melting Fire," Ricky answered back.
"That's it! In addition to you being such an oddly powerful man, only a Great Dragon is able to control
the accompanying sacred fire of a Great Dragon," the Dragon Intent Grass continued. "Unexpectedly, I
heard that there is another Killing Metal Dragon out there, undiscovered.
Ricky, now I know that you are a friend of that Killing Metal Dragon. You can ask him to help you send
Soar back to the Dragon Island. He has to return because only in the Dragon Island can one truly
acquire the inheritance of the Heaven Melting Dragon and qualify to become a holy being."
"Well, it looks like that I have to find Autelan sooner than I thought," Ricky muttered under his breath. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
"Dragon Intent Grass, please tell me how I can be of service to you," Ricky followed up.
"Hmmm, this is kind of weird." The Dragon Intent Grass spoke in an embarrassed voice upon hearing
Ricky's words.
"I assume that you need me to ask Soar for the Great Dragon's blood essence, isn't it right?" Ricky
gave a faint smile. It was said that the growth and evolution of the Dragon Intent Grass could not be
isolated from the Great Dragon's blood essence and the Intent Apperception, so Ricky took a wild
guess.
"Ha-ha! Oh, Ricky, you really know me well to the core!" The Dragon Intent Grass laughed loudly.
"So, do you want it now or should I do it later?"
"I'm not in such a hurry this time. After he reaches the Emperor Level and successfully stabilizes his
realm, I would be grateful if he can give me two drops of his blood essence. Only in that way can I truly
maximize the blood essence's potential," the Dragon Intent Grass instructed.
"I guess two drops shouldn't be that hard to get," Ricky whispered in a low voice.
In fact, losing two drops of blood essence was an insignificant loss to a creature at the Emperor Level.
Meanwhile, since everyone in their group were completed spiritual kings at peak state and some at a
higher realm, it only took them nearly four hours to get to the secret land.
This secret land was initially located in a very remote place, far away from the hustle and bustle of the
busy roads. Moreover, in order to avoid meeting other warriors along the way, Gerry made sure that
they walked the path in isolated places.
"In the beginning, the Ju Clan disciples came here to hunt a Blood Spirit Beast," Gerry narrated.
Before, it was a deep basin, with its center crossed by a massive abyss. This abyss was not very
broad, so it was covered by the towering trees that surrounded it.
But because of the evil spirit, it was impossible, even for demi-spiritual emperors to sense the situation
here from a long distance.
When they arrived in the place, they could not believe what they saw. In front of them were several
Blood Spirit Beasts; however they were not so powerful as they had thought. In fact, most of them had
just reached the Spiritual King Level, so they could only be killed by Ricky and his companions to get
their Blood Spirit Beads.
Meanwhile, from where they stood, small bloody streams flowed into the abyss around the basin.
"Under this abyss lies a very wide space—the secret land," Gerry continued.
"We can easily leap through these empty spaces and enter the secret land at the bottom of the abyss.
We can do this by following the bloody streams."
"As far as I can sense, there is no trace of other living creatures here. I am guessing that the warriors
from the Sky Palace haven't arrived yet," Ricky said, observing his surroundings carefully.
"Forget about them. It's good that they didn't come. Now, let's get inside first," Gerry responded. "All
right. Let's go and check it out."
Soon after, they followed one of the streams and sank into the void that led to the secret land.
But as soon as Ricky and the others entered, an airship emerged from the void.
A Demi-sage Level airship popped out of nowhere. Being at that level, it was normal that Ricky and his
friends were not able to sense its presence.
Unfortunately for the people in the airship, they didn't know that the Evil Mandragora was with Ricky.
Afterwards, seven people jumped off the airship. Three of them were demi-spiritual emperors at the
lower grade while four of them were ordinary demi-spiritual emperors.
Leading the group was a relatively thin and young man.
This young man's hair had a striking blue color, exuding a strong and secret aura of water.
In addition to his stunning blue hair, this young man had a pair of dazzling blue pupils.
Following him were six other people who also had blue hair and blue eyes. The only difference was
their colors were not as deep as this young man's, which indicated a distinction in their blood power.
If any genius from the Western Land were here, then he would definitely recognize that this young man
was Oswald Shen, the strongest genius among the younger generation of the Sky Palace.
Oswald Shen was as famous as the core talents of the five major forces in the Western Land. As a
matter of fact, among all the warriors at the same level, he was the one who would most likely compete
with Carney's talents.
Of course, now that Ricky had shown his power, Ricky could be considered as another matched rival
for Oswald.
"Young master, they went inside without thinking twice. It seems that they didn't notice our presence," a
young man sneered, looking at where Ricky and his companions went.
"As far as I know, it's impossible for them to feel the airship at the Demi-sage Level, so no wonder they
did not notice us. By the way, I'm a little surprised that Gerry has invited Kenney," Oswald responded.
"Young master, maybe this is your chance. After all, the blood power of the Rainwater Mutant would
help you more in your evolution than it would help Carney. And here we meet the one with the
Rainwater Mutant," one of them said.
When Oswald heard this, a greedy and evil smile appeared on his face. "Yes you are right. I am really
so lucky to meet them here. I can defeat or even kill that Kenney right here. In that situation, I can get
the Rainwater Mutant and destroy an enemy. This is called killing two birds with one stone.
Perhaps, I should thank that Gerry for bringing Kenney here!"
