CHAPTER 838 ESCAPE

The power of the shock hindered Ricky's Iron Destroyer to fall.

"How could it be possible? What an incredible power!" Ricky was amazed at how strong the power felt.

His Golden Spirit Eyes burst out promptly as he glanced its way; then his eyes landed on the ground.

All of a sudden, the whole street's soil gave in upon the arising of a thick bloody black tail filled with the

cold power. It rapidly came slamming towards Ricky.

"Retreat!" Ricky didn't hesitate to step back quickly at the sight of the tail. The force he felt emanating

from it was too great to be contended with.

As soon as Ricky had retreated, the stout tail didn't advance with its attack. Instead, it helped the

leading zombie to dispel the Golden Light Arrow that had hit his body before, as well as the infernal

power.

Boom! Once the rest of that stout tail's body came out, the entire street got smashed into pieces.

Right in front of Ricky's eyes came up a blood black python, several hundred meters long. Or so he

thought.

The creature was actually a Venomous Blood Worm.

"How could there be a python here? And it is even more powerful than an ordinary second-class

completed spiritual king!" Ricky stated grimly and with a stern look in his eyes.

"Ricky, in fact, I don't think that's a python, but a huge Venomous Blood Worm. Despite its size, it's

exactly what it looks like," Soar said incredulously, as he withdrew from the battle.

seriously.

"A Black Blood Zombie Queen?" Ricky questioned confused.

"The strongest ones of zombies are the zombie queens. The strongest one of the Black Blood

Zombies, on the other hand, is the Black Blood Zombie Queen," Tina explained.

"Other zombies are said to be men, while the zombie queens are women. They are all a type of dark

and cold creature. The female kind is more suitable to cultivate the zombie energy though. And

naturally, they're much stronger than any of the male zombies.

That's why if one of them shows up in a group of male zombies, she will become a zombie queen.

"I see." Ricky and Soar nodded in comprehension.

Howl! With another roar, the huge Venomous Blood Worm's tail rushed back at Ricky and Soar. Neither

of them would have the time to dodge it.

Quickly, they joined forces and burst out the Heaven Melting Fire while gathering a shield to resist the

strike.

However, this Venomous Blood Worm's power was way too strong. The Heaven Melting Fire's shield

couldn't take the attack. After a short while, it breached, and both Ricky and Soar were heavily thrown

to the ground.

Fortunately, Soar was a Great Dragon and Ricky had the Ultimate Golden Body. So, they didn't get

badly injured.

Yet they were awfully aware they weren't a match for this creature, especially after a taste of its strike.

"Soar, get ready to run!" Ricky told him by telepathy.

Immediately, Soar shifted back into his real form and then hovered on Ricky's shoulder. Ricky soon

activated the Space-shrinking Pace and vanished in a blink of an eye.

Once Ricky and Soar escaped, the leading zombie along with the four Black Blood Zombies got ready

to rush after the two.

However, the colossal Venomous Blood Worm stopped them all when it said, "Queen has ordered us

not to chase them. They won't be able to escape from here anyway. As soon as Her Highness finishes

the cultivation in seclusion, she'll hunt them down herself."

"Got it!" The leading zombie and the others nodded before shifting back into their human forms.

Ricky felt deeply distressed. This time, he had consumed two spiritual space tools of resources to

activate the Space-shrinking Pace. He had no idea how far he had already run. But one thing was for

sure—he and Soar hadn't left the Justice Town yet.

Soon, they had realized the Justice Town seemed to be like a maze, where they couldn't find their way

out.

Ricky glanced skyward but everything was shrouded by clouds and strong divine power. There was no

way they could just fly out.

"Ricky, it seems we're trapped in the Justice Town. I'm afraid our powers aren't strong enough to get us

out of here," Soar muttered, resigned.

"This should be the Divine Manor. I guess this might be a test. Maybe only after we defeat these

zombies here, everything will clear out."

"Ricky, Soar is right. It might be it," Tina agreed with Soar.

"Then we have to go back there and defeat those zombies. To be exact, the Venomous Blood Worm

and the Black Blood Zombie Queen," Ricky responded seriously.

At that moment, they all shared a grave look among each other.

They had already witnessed the power the Venomous Blood Worm held. If the Black Blood Zombie

Queen also showed up, they wouldn't stand a chance.

"Ricky, please restore your power first. We must be ready to fight," Soar told him.

Soar.

analyzed.

"Ricky, what do you mean? Do you think the Black Blood Zombie Queen is caught up on something?"

Soar asked.

"That might give us a chance," Ricky said with a nod.

"As long as they don't show up, we can keep cultivating. We need to do it as much as we can though."

"I guess that's the only way. If we go there now, we'll be walking right into our death sentences," Soar

said helplessly.

There was nothing else they could do but to wait and cultivate for as long as they could.
