Inside the library building, Furano and Alton stood near a different open window at a row of classic-style windows on the second floor. Furano was wearing wolf ears headband, a suit jacket with the middle open, a tucked-in shirt with a top button open, a belt, trousers, women’s boots, and a black armored hooded cloak with the hood part open. Furano was in an alert stance while holding her Handgun of Spellcaster in her right hand. A silverish-black handgun resembles a revolver with a barrel as long as an adult man’s forearm, with the addition of half adult’s man finger-width sturdy carvings along the top and bottom of the barrel, no revolver cylinder, a gun grip shaped with sturdy carvings to be held with one hand, longer than Furano’s grip; and patterns of beautiful silver embossed carvings all over the handgun. Furano stood while taking cover behind the wall next to one of the windows.
Before Furano, Alton took cover behind the wall next to the other window. Alton was wearing cat ears headband and his school uniform: a tucked-in long-sleeved shirt with a top button open, a school vest, a tie, a belt, trousers, and loafers. Alton was in an alert stance while holding his sheathed soul Dagger in his right hand. This dagger has a black sheath as long as an adult man’s forearm, with a black hilt shaped with sturdy carvings to be held with one hand, longer than Alton’s grip; the sheath and hilt were decorated with embossed carvings. Alton stood while taking cover behind the wall next to one of the windows.
Furano and Alton observed the situation outside the window vigilantly. “Ding!” a sound similar to a smartphone notification was heard, followed by the appearance of two black panels with white writing before Furano, surprising her slightly. One of the panels shows the writing:

Furano read the first black panel curiously as she thought.
“Analyze skill?”
Furano touched [Close] writing, and this black panel vanished. Furano then reads the second black panel:

Furano read the panel before her in surprise; she then touched the [Don’t show this message again] writing, and the black panel before her vanished. Furano turned to Alton before her, who observing the situation outside the window. Furano watched Alton curiously.
“Skill activation, Analyze.”
Not long after, a black panel with white writing appeared near Furano:

“There seems to be some information that is unknown?”
Furano appeared to realize something.

Furano was surprised; her expression turned embarrassed.
“Wait, it’s not like that.”
Alton turned to Furano; he then watched her curiously.
“Is something going on?”
Furano came to her senses; she then turned to Alton.
“I’m just… practicing my magic spells.”
Alton smiled; he then nodded.
“Okay.”
Alton observed back the situation outside the window. Furano read the black panel near her again.

Furano’s expression turned confused as she thought.
“I thought the writing was….”
Furano’s expression turned astonished as she thought.
“It seems I’m slightly tired.”
Furano watched Alton, who was focused on observing the situation outside the window; she then smiled.
Outside the library building, one of the First Earth wizards’ defense personnel was riding a flying broomstick and chasing his phoenix automaton ahead. Not long after, this defense personnel received a call via the single earphone in his right ear.
“If any defense personnel find the target location, immediately contact the other to carry out a siege.”
This defense personnel then fully focused again on the Phoenix he chased.
Not long after, the Phoenix automaton appeared to realize something and suddenly changed its flying direction; he immediately followed the Phoenix. The Phoenix flew towards an expansive library building. When the Phoenix reached the top of the building, the Phoenix dived down fast, surprising the defense personnel.
“Where are you going? Stop!”
This defense personnel immediately dived down to chase the Phoenix, then drew his sword from the scabbard to use a magic spell to stop it. However, the Phoenix flew very fast, smashing through one of the wooden framed window panes on top of the library building. The defense personnel forcibly stopped his broomstick before the destroyed window and contacted other personnel via his single earphone.
“My Phoenix automaton suddenly flew into the library building in the middle of the city, requesting backup.”
Man’s voice sounded in his earphone.
“Understood, the nearest personnel will go there immediately.”
This defense personnel looked doubtful and watched the surroundings.
Inside the library building, the phoenix automaton that had just penetrated the window made its flight stagger slightly, then landed and destroyed one of the long desks in the middle section of the library. The Phoenix looked around warily, then roared. Several visitors who were nearby were shocked and immediately ran away in panic.
Furano and Alton, who were in another part of the library, were slightly surprised; their attention was drawn toward the center of the building. Alton’s expression turned confused.
“What’s that?”
Furano’s expression turned curious.
“Let’s check that out.”
Furano turned to Alton; they nodded to each other and ran warily towards the library’s center.
Arriving at the open hallway, they were surprised to see a phoenix automaton observing its surroundings vigilantly. Alton turned to Furano.
“Is that the automaton that Daganzo said?”
Furano nodded as she watched the automaton.
“There was no mistaking.”
The Phoenix appeared to realize something; it then turned to Furano and Alton, surprising them. Alton’s expression turned astonished.
“Is it just me, or is that Phoenix looking at us?”
Furano’s expression turned serious as she watched the Phoenix vigilantly.
“It was indeed looking at us....”
This phoenix automaton opened its beak, and a wisp of fire began to form in its beak. Furano and Alton were surprised; this automaton shot a fireball inside its beak toward them.
Alton immediately took cover against one of the pillars on the left, and Furano took cover against the other one on the right. The fireball hit the open hallway concrete railing; the fire then dispersed and spread in all directions, leaving burnt marks on the railing. Furano watched the Phoenix while taking cover behind a pillar.
“Skill activation, Analyze.”
Not long after, a black panel with white writing appeared before Furano:
[Analyze skill results]
[Name: Phoenix Automaton.

Furano was surprised to read the black panel before her as she thought.
“B Category? It seems this automaton is indeed dangerous. Unfortunately, its weakness is unknown....”
Alton watched the Phoenix automaton while taking cover behind a pillar.
“Let’s try elemental magic.”
Furano nodded. Alton concentrated.
“Wind blast.”
A small tornado formed at the tip of Alton’s dagger; its shape then turned to resemble an arrow. Alton swung his dagger toward the Phoenix automaton, and this arrow shot toward the Phoenix. The Phoenix appeared unfamiliar with its surroundings, caught it off guard. The arrow hit the Phoenix hard and exploded, creating a strong wind blast that pushed hard against the tables around the automaton. This automaton was thrown several meters back but then used its wings and landed on the floor stably using the grip of its metal talons, cracked the floor beneath it. Alton was surprised.
“My magic doesn’t work on it.”
Furano immediately continued the attack.
“Ice Blast.”
The embossed carving patterns on the Furano’s handgun glowed.
Furano fired her handgun, and a white flare-like light shot toward the Phoenix automaton. The automaton noticed the white light shooting quickly toward it but was too late to dodge. This light hit the automaton in the chest, and its body was soon covered in ice that spread quickly from the chest to its wings, making it unable to move. However, this only lasted momentarily, and the automaton could move again as it broke the ice all over its body. Furano was surprised.
“That automaton is so strong; this is the first time I’ve seen something can quickly escape that magic spell.”
Alton nodded.
“We need more powerful magic.”
The phoenix automaton opened its beak again, and a wisp of fire began to form in its beak, but this time, it was a much denser and darker color than before. Alton watched the Phoenix while taking cover behind a pillar.
“Something changed with that Phoenix attack.”
The Phoenix fired a fireball that shot quickly from its beak toward Alton. Alton was surprised and immediately dodged to the left. This fireball hits the pillar and destroys it, surprising Alton and Furano. Furano said.
“Its attacks are getting stronger?”
