The phoenix leader metal automaton looked at the hangar’s exit as if it had realized something; it then ran through the tunnel using his two legs and two wings, which were used like its forelegs; its sharp, sturdy metal talons left many scratch marks on the tunnel floor. Phoenix’s leader ran through the barrier covering the tunnel’s exit and then spread its two gigantic wings. The Phoenix leader flew past the surrounding buildings while observing and landed on top of one of the tallest other skyscrapers nearby. The phoenix leader looked towards the Wizards Government of Spain’s central building as if waiting for something.
Around the Wizards Government of Spain central building, dozens of Defense Personnel wizards rode their flying broomsticks, vigilantly guarding the building, and dozens of others patrolling throughout the city within a perimeter centered on the building. The defense personnel near the building were shocked, amazed, or frightened when they saw the Phoenix leader automaton fly out from the hangar inside the building and land on the top of one of the nearest skyscrapers.
In the control room, one of the wizards wearing a lab coat sitting at the control desk looked at the monitor with a serious expression.
“Begins observing the phoenix leader’s reactions to its surroundings outside the hangar.”
The researcher leader watched the row of monitors on the control desk before him with a serious expression; he then lost in his thoughts.
Flashback to a few days ago. The researcher leader was standing in the same control room with other wizards from the researcher division, operating the control desk and control panels. Before them was the same hangar contained an unfinished Phoenix Leader Automaton. The five meters tall Phoenix leader was still only a metal skeleton, and only half of the machine was finished being installed on it. The unfinished Phoenix leader was standing, supported by dozens of mechanical hands with tips resembling the tips of pliers with glowing magic writing, and connected to a gigantic machine merged into the hangar’s ceiling. Dozens of other mechanical hands carried machines or metal body parts to build the Phoenix leader.
Not long after, the tall metal entrance double door behind the researcher leader opened; he then turned around. Dozens of the defense personnel wizards walked into the room, one of them carrying a metal briefcase, then walked over to the researcher leader and stood before him.
“We, the defense personnel, have received the task of guarding and delivering this book, which the Wizards Government of Spain has checked, for you to use.”
This defense personnel opened the briefcase in his hands, which contained a copy of the Phoenix leader automaton control book. The researcher leader smiled, then took the book.
“Finally, this book has returned to us.”
The defense personnel smiled.
“We’ll excuse ourselves, sir.”
The researcher leader smiled and nodded. The defense personnel walked out of the room. The researcher leader turned to the Phoenix leader; his expression then turned serious.
A few days later, the Phoenix leader inside the hangar was complete and connected to the gigantic machine merged on the ceiling via countless cables attached all over its body. It was standing, supported by dozens of sturdy mechanical arms. One of the wizards at the control desk turned to the researcher leader.
“Phoenix leader’s body has been completed, sir.”
The researcher leader nodded.
“Good, now we’ll activate it.”
The researcher leader walked through the single metal door next to a row of windows, followed by a wizard. They arrived at the metal balcony, descended the ladder, and walked towards the phoenix leader.
The researcher leader stood quite close to the phoenix leader before him, and another wizard stood quite far behind him. The researcher leader took out a copy of the Phoenix leader control book from the inner pocket of his lab coat, opened it, and carried it in his left hand; he then used his right hand to drew his Existence sword from the scabbard attached to the baldric at his waist and pointed it forward.

“With dimensional magic accompanying me, it happened when I said, Phoenix Resurrection.”
A strong wind blast spread throughout the hangar and centered on this book, surprising the other wizards paying attention. Red light shone from the book; grains of red light flew out of it and floated to the tip of the researcher leader’s sword. These lights formed a two meters tall phoenix; It then flapped its wings several times. This light turns into a magic core shaped like a ball of red lava.
The researcher leader used his sword to move and direct this magic core to fly closer to the Phoenix leader automaton. The magic core entered the phoenix through the slot in its chest and then glowed. The Phoenix Leader began to move, and the gaps in the joints all over its body widened and revealed the machine inside it; these gaps then emitted red light that formed patterns all over its body. The researcher leader and other wizards were shocked and amazed to see that. The researcher leader closed the book as he said.
“We’ll immediately carry out the experiments and observations.”
A wizard accompanying him nodded.
In the next few days, the Phoenix leader, still connected by countless cables all over its body, flapped its wings several times. Not long after, the Phoenix leader started to move aggressively and roared; it slashed its left wing on the thick concrete wall, left a gigantic scratch mark, and shook the building, startling the researcher leader and other wizards in the control room. One of the wizards’ expressions at the control desk turned serious.
“Phoenix leader probability to lose control is at 70%, sir.”
The researcher leader’s expression turned disappointed.
“Turn it off….”
The wizards operated the control desk before them. Soon, the phoenix leader became calm and motionless, standing as if sleeping. Not long after, a wizard wearing a lab coat came to the researcher leader from behind.
“You have been expected by the higher-ups, sir.”
The researcher leader was surprised.
“Okay, I’m leaving now.”
The researcher leader then walked out of the room.
The researcher leader walked along the corridor on the 90th floor. Not long after, he arrived before tall wooden double doors with the meeting room written on the metal board beside it; he then walked into the room. Behind the door is a spacious meeting room resembling a hall with a long table and a row of ergonomic chairs with several computer monitors on the table. A large projector screen is installed on one side of the wall. A row of metal framed window panes on one side of the room showed the day view of the city, and the Wizards Government of Spain’s Prime Minister is stood facing the window, wearing a long-sleeved shirt, tie, waistcoat, overcoat, trousers, and loafers. The researcher leader said.
“Sorry for making you wait, sir.”
The prime minister turned to him and smiled.
“It's alright; let’s just get started. The leaders of the Wizards Government of First Earth members are waiting.”
The Researcher leader’s expression turned serious; he then nodded. The Prime Minister sat in one of the chairs between rows of several black monitors to his right and left.
These monitors then connected to several other Prime Ministers from other Wizards Governments. However, these monitors only showed a black screen with a voice connection while at the other end of the connections, other Prime Ministers got a video connection from the researcher leader.
After the video call was connected, the researcher leader stood before these monitors to communicate. A man’s voice sounded on one of the black screen monitors.
“How is the Phoenix leader automaton’s progress?”
The researcher leader smiled.
“So far, it continues to show better progress, sir.”
The Prime Minister’s expression turned serious.
“The newly formed Wizards Government of First Earth hopes that magical automaton technology can be a solution to overcome every threat from Other Earths.”
The researcher leader smiled.
“I am sure that developing magical automaton technology has been the right choice, sir.”
A man’s voice sounded from one of the different black screen monitors.
“Can you briefly explain the development progress of the automatons?”
The researcher leader nodded and briefly explained how the Phoenix leader’s development has become increasingly stable even though it is not connected to other energy sources. The researcher leader smiled.
“We just need to test the automatons to hunt for existences from outside the universe. I’ll immediately send the results if finished.”
A man’s voice sounded from one of the different black screen monitors.
“Alright, we look forward to it.”
The video connections ended. The Prime Minister’s expression turned serious.
“The Phoenix leader and the automaton development results will be kept as secret information first and reviewed further before we share them with the Wizards Government of First Earth.”
The researcher leader’s expression turned serious.
“I understand, sir.”
Flashback ended.
In the control room, the monitors on the control desk showed the Phoenix leader’s good stability progress; the probability of losing control was between 35% and 40%, and the damage to the Phoenix leader’s automaton body was very low. One of the wizards before one of the monitors turned to the researcher leader.
“Phoenix leader shows significant improvement in stability, sir.”
The researcher leader came to his senses; he then smiled.
“Good, open the Phoenix automatons hangar, and then inform the defense personnel that they can use their automatons.”
