Furano and Alton arrived at the alley behind the restaurant building and continued running further away. Furano ran while pulling her broomstick from inside the black panel. Alton ran while swinging his soul dagger towards the front.
“Come, Dragon Wings.”
Alton’s broomstick flew towards him from one of the buildings’ rooftops; he then caught it with his right hand. They got on their broomsticks and flew away from here. The two male defense personnel ran out of the restaurant through the back door, only to find that Furano and Alton had flown far beyond their reach.
Alton and Furano rode their flying broomsticks quite high across the night sky enclosed with Glass Walls’ magic spell. Furano watched behind them and found they were no longer being chased. Furano gave Alton the hand signal for them to fly down; they decreased their altitude and flew not too high above an alley at the back of the buildings.
Furano looked around them and made sure that things were safe. Alton looked relieved.
“Luckily, we managed to escape; it was close.”
Furano turned to Alton and nodded.
“You’re right; after this, they will be more alert. Let’s end our activities for today.”
Alton nodded. Furano appeared to realize something; she then looked around her astonishedly. Alton looked at Furano curiously.
“Is there something wrong?”
Furano came to her senses.
“I just want to confirm something; you can ignore it.”
Alton’s expression turned curious; he then nodded. Furano’s expression turned curious.
“Open quests in progress.”
A black panel with white writing appeared before Furano.

[Minimize] [Page 1 of 1]
Furano attention was focused on quest number one. Furano was surprised as she thought.
“Why is the quest still not complete?”
Furano’s expression turned astonished as she thought.
“I have a bad feeling for this….”
Alton watched Furano curiously.
“Are you alright, Furano?”
Furano came to her senses; she then smiled.
“It’s nothing.”
Alton nodded.

“Let’s continue tomorrow, shall we?”
Furano smiled and nodded. Alton appeared to remember something.
“Can I borrow your book copy? I want to try copying the book; maybe I can use the copy I made straight away.”
Furano was slightly surprised.
“Good idea, Alton. Of course, you can borrow it.”
Furano took out her copy of the Book of Dimensional Magic from the pocket of her suit jacket and gave it to Alton. Alton received this book with a happy smile.
“Okay, see you again tomorrow.”
Alton put the book copy behind his school vest and was ready to go. On the other hand, Furano’s attention was drawn to the black panel beside her, which showed incomplete quests in progress. Furano turned to Alton.
“Wait, Alton.”
Alton turned to Furano with a curious expression. Furano resumed talking.
“Since the situation is getting dangerous now, it’s best if we stick together for some more time to ensure it’s already safe.”
Alton was surprised and then smiled happily.
“Of course, that’s fine.”
Furano smiled and nodded; she appeared to realize something.
“Where will you go?”
Alton fell silent in thought momentarily.
“Because I want to copy this book, I’ll go to the library.”
Furano smiled and nodded. They rode their flying broomsticks away from here.
After flying for some time, they arrived at an expansive three-story classical-style library building decorated with beautiful carvings. Furano looked around this building and confirmed that this area was safe from First Earth wizards.
“This expansive library is enough to confuse them in detecting our presence.”
Alton smiled and nodded. They landed on the rooftop of this building and got off their broomsticks. Furano carried her broomstick in her left hand.
“Save to inventory.”
Furano’s broomstick disintegrated into grains of light gradually and quickly until it finally disappeared completely. Alton pointed his soul dagger at his broomstick hovering beside him.
“Hide, Dragon Wings.”
Alton’s broomstick then flew away from here. Furano and Alton then entered this library through a door in the small building on the rooftop.
On the 89th floor of the Wizards Government of Spain central building. Before the room’s entrance door containing the Dimensional Gate, Daganzo and the Researcher Division leader stood and talked.
“Next time you want to come here, just use the pattern I drew earlier to unlock the door into that room.”
Daganzo nodded. Not long after, a man wearing a suit covered with a lab coat and loafers walked up to them while carrying a document in his left hand.
“The new device we are developing has completed initial trials and is expected to be used by the Department of Defense soon, sir.”
This man handed the document to the leader. The leader briefly read this document and nodded.
“Good, immediately report this device progress to Spain’s Wizards Department of Defense.”
The leader returned the document in his hand. This man excused himself and walked away from here. Daganzo watched them with a curious expression.
“Are there any new devices?”
The leader turned to Daganzo, then nodded.
“Yes, after many reports that our device to detect the existence from outside the universe has repeatedly experienced problems when used before. We developed this new detection device which can track existence from outside the universe more accurately and effectively.”
Daganzo was surprised.
“More accurately and effectively?”
The leader smiled as he nodded.
“That’s correct. Usually, defense personnel need to patrol while carrying tracking devices in their hands. But with this device, it is this device that will instead look around for that existence, and we just have to follow it.”
Daganzo looked confused.
“It doesn’t sound like a device. How effective is the device?”
The leader smirked.
“With the city’s state being enclosed like this, it could be said that they would not be able to hide anywhere in this city.”
Daganzo was surprised; he then fell silent in thought momentarily.
“Sounds dangerous; I might as well look at that device to know for sure….”
Daganzo smiled.
“Can I see that new device?”
The leader looked at Daganzo with a slightly surprised expression.
“That device is still under development.”
Daganzo forced a smile.
“Then may I see the development process of that device? Maybe I can explain it slightly to the Scout Division so we can use it better soon.”
The leader’s expression turned deadpan; he then nodded.
“I understand; I’ll take you there. Coincidentally, I will also be heading to the place where the device is being developed.”
Daganzo was slightly surprised; he then smiled.
“Thank you. Sorry if this disturbs your time.”
The leader smiled.
“Of course not. Please follow me.”
The leader walked away from here, and Daganzo followed him with a curious expression.
The leader and Daganzo walked together along the wide corridor on the 89th floor. Several times, Daganzo passed through the tall double doors connected by this corridor, and sometimes, there were members of the Researcher Division who happened to come out of one of the rooms. When the door was opened, Daganzo could see what the researchers were doing: building or testing equipment or brewing magical potions. Daganzo’s expression turned curious.
“It seems the Researcher Division is having a lot of work?”
The leader turned to Daganzo.
“Yes, after discovering the Book of Dimensional Magic, our work increased to study it. But this doesn’t burden us; we are even more enthusiastic about researching because we are also curious.”
Daganzo nodded.
“I think I can understand that because the book of Dimensional Magic is a very rare magical item; I am also curious about that book.”
The leader nodded; he then appeared to remember something.
“That’s right, what makes us also curious is the First Wizard as the person who wrote the book. The First Wizard created magic spells and developed magical technologies and rare potions brew. We leave that to the Scout Division to investigate.”
Daganzo was slightly surprised.
“Of course, sir. I’ll do my best.”
The leader smiled and nodded.
After walking for some time, they arrived at a tall wooden door decorated with beautiful carvings, with a metal board saying “Research room 20” beside it. The leader opened this door and walked in; Daganzo then walked after him. A spacious research room inside resembles a hall, with a high ceiling that combines the two building stories.
Daganzo looked around him; dozens of researchers were busy conducting research. Several researchers used their Existence Swords to form something resembling a glowing stone before them and then sculpted it using magic. Several other researchers watched and observed while taking notes on the documents they brought. Several researchers formed the luminous stone sculpted with magic on a large device with many long mechanical hands with tips resembling large pliers. These mechanical hands had luminous magical writing engraved and continued to carve the luminous stone quickly and intricately.
