“If anyone is ever going to listen to this, then this is another entry in my captain’s log. I am not sure how much time has passed. It could have been several weeks, it could have been years. All I see when I look outside is outer space, and more space. My right leg has healed better than I had expected. It almost got blown off by that explosion. The food that I have in my inventory is slowly running out. Luckily, this space station has a lot of hidden secrets. Along with my birthplace. I managed to find a farm, and get it up and running. It only produces green beans at this moment, but there is a kitchen. I am forgetting what meat tastes like. I would kill something for a simple sausage.”
“There is running water on this space station, including a warp gate, but that thing is not activating. For some reason, my portal power is not working. There is also a portal room, most of them have locks on them. As if the space station is on lockdown. There is a master system, I tried to enable all power, but it asks for a handprint scan. While looking around, I assumed angels lived here once, Bella and her family used to live here in the past. I will keep on surviving, it is what I do best, and when I get the chance, I am going to murder the fuck out of the bitch that tried to blow me up. Hopefully, that will also net me Steve. Alice and Freya out.”
Alice pushed the button and sat back down. Freya looked at her, “At least we are not dead.”
Alice grumbled, “We are stuck, and the beans are coming out of my nose, as a child I never wanted to eat green beans, and now I need too.”
Freya bellowed out in laughter. “I cannot believe we survived that blast.”
Alice got up and started walking away, with a limp. “Me neither, we got lucky. When we landed here, my right leg had been torn to shreds. Shall we see if we can get the cryo chamber to work? Those things were a good nap in the past.”
Freya nodded and got up to follow Alice. They walked through gray bleak halls. There were signs everywhere to get you where you wanted to go.
Alice passed a lab and stopped for a moment, she looked at the test tubes while shedding a single tear. “It reminds me of simpler times.”
Freya nodded, “Yes, it does.”
Alice let a small ball of void energy appear, “Yes, that takes me back. People or angels should not be messing with things they do not fully understand.” She walked into the lab, “Give me a moment Freya.” She nodded and waited. Alice walked toward the test tube and put her hand on it. She smiled, “I remember waking up while Freya slept, Micheal stood like this and sent energy to wake me up. A newborn, in a fully grown body, with a guardian angel, and one desire, to rule.”
She looked at the other test tube, and where you went Brother, I have no clue. Next to that, is another test tube. Alice chuckled, I know what happened to you, asshole. Alice walked over to the wall and pushed a button, another test tube got revealed. She shed a tear and Alice let out a deep sigh, this is where you slept Micheal, looking at me through the crack in the wall. I know, I saw you looking at me. You might be different than I am, but we still connected. We are both power hungry, both a desire to rule. And you saved me, you could have left me behind for more cruel experiments. But you saw they did to me. You once told me what happened to Leon, how we lost him.
I will find you Micheal, we will end up together again, wherever you are right now. The sole reason I survived and gave it my all, is because I want to be with you again. I forgive you for cheating on me. You have atoned for your sins, come back to me, please. I know you have family out there, are they looking for you as well? Alice shook her head, then she walked back to Freya.
She smiled at Alice, “It is hard, isn’t it?”
Alice nodded, “It is. Do you remember, that picnic we had?”
Freya had a huge grin on her face, “Do you mean the one where he asked us to come to the middle of the Poluma woods? And he had this whole stage of food instead of a blanket with a picnic basket.”

Alice nodded, “And even a bed. He did not like the sun, so he turned it to night and let the full moon appear to let moonlight shine on our picnic. Maybe we should not have accepted to go to sleep, that is when things went horribly wrong.” Alice shook her head, “We still have a life to life, and time to spend. We should go towards the cryo room.”
Freya nodded, and together they walked towards cryo room while picking up some tools. Freya and Alice worked all day on the cryo chambers, without much success. Alice sat down against the wall, “At least we have managed to waste another day.”
Freya nodded, “Do you want me to go to the kitchen and warm up some beans for you?”
“Yes please, if you would.”
Freya gave Alice a kiss on her cheek, “I will be right back with food sister.”
Alice beamed with happiness, “Thanks, without you, I would have gone insane.”
As Alice sat there, an old man appeared. He wore a robe and leaned on a cane. He had no facial hair and his eyes were closed. “Hello Alice.”
She chuckled, “What is this, am I hallucinating again?”
“No, you are not, my name is Geras. I have come here since you are feeling down. You can die Alice, but not of old age, I can accelerate your age all I want, but it would make no difference. While you might not age, a single stab through the heart will kill you.”
Alice snorted, “That is kind of obvious.”
“While it might be obvious to you, is it also obvious to humans, or other beings that die from old age?”
Alice seemed to be thinking, “I guess not. But I have died.”
Geras nodded, “I know, you have died a couple of times and yet here you are, chased by death, you managed to flung yourself to safety once more. I have come to inform you of, recent events.”
Alice got up, “Why?”
“Because, I sense a great need for your strength in the future, though that is where you will meet your final end, as for the universe to be truly safe, you must die, and Micheal must vanish from the minds of people.”
Alice sighed deeply, “I need him, we both know where is and what he is, as long as Captain has not taken control, I might find him.”
Geras let out a deep sigh, “You know what you are, yet speak it out loud, you may not.”
Alice nodded, “It is dangerous to utter those words, until the time is right. I have seen my death, Haley showed it to me.”
Geras smiled, “And right, she is. Will you be able to live your life to the fullest Alice, knowing it will come to an end in the future?”
She nodded, “It is just, I want to be with Micheal, once more before my end comes.”
Geras walked over, “And that, will come to pass, if Apollo is right. You have the same strength, sensing the future. It might come to your aid, but more often, it will lead to your doom. Because, knowing things makes it real, knowing things, makes you less prone to wonder, and open for another path. Why would you keep going on, if you already know where the puzzle pieces are?”
Alice smiled, “A wise old man, huh?”
Geras started to walk away, “Alice?”
“Yes?”
“You have a choice to make.”
“What choice do I have to make?
” Geras turned around, “You have the choice to either safe, or to destroy the universe.” He held up his hand, “Your first response will be, I am going to save it with Micheal. But, that is where you are wrong, even though you might not admit it to yourself. Steve is going to come to this space station, you can sense it, I can sense it, we all sense it. I know what is on your mind Alice, are you sure, that is what you want to do? Because if you do so, the stone is going to roll down a very long steep hill, leading down to the destruction of all existence.
I dread it, Zeus dreads it, all the gods and beings dread, what choice you are about to make. If we could influence you, we would. Then, there is the second choice that Steve needs to make, if you both choose poorly, then I guess, even I, the god of old age, will pass away.”
Alice wanted to speak but stammered. Geras smiled, “How important is Micheal to you? Is he important enough, to destroy existence? The ball is in your court Alice, what will you do, when the time comes, to play that ball? Will you roll it down the steep hill, or push it back up, even if you will suffer by pushing the ball back up.”
