The airship had bunks, and these had beds and a desk with a chair. There even hung a mirror in this one. The airship is still flying home, it is going to take a while. Bella made it able to fly, but some important part is missing, and it is flying slower. I looked into the mirror, “Alright Captain, I am trying to understand this. You are like a different personality of me, another being?”

“Yes, that is right.”

“And of course I have traits belonging to you, and vice versa.”

“Correct again.”

“Then we have Thanos and the others, I also have traits of them.”

“Yes, that is how it works, but they are all different people living in here, and current events have shaken things up a bit.”

J spoke up, “Aye mate, I was just taking a nap, one of the million naps I took, I was not bothered too much with the whole affair going on.”

I sighed, “You are still talking strange.”

Captain chuckled, “You will get used to it.”

“Alright, next up we have Eris.”

“Hey Steve.”

“Yeah, I ate her.”

“Oh, you admit it?”

“Fine, Thanos ate you, but we are technically the same person.”

Eris laughed, “I guess I am part of the crew now!”

“Captain, please explain, how can I eat people and assimilate them into a new person, or personality?”

Captain sighed, “If you eat someone, don’t even peek behind the other dark mirrors. You will slowly take some of their important traits, their abilities, even their quirks.”

“Hold up, if I would assimilate a lot of people, hypothetically, they would all become my separate personalities?” I could feel Captain nod. “But, doesn’t that change me?”

Captain seemed to be thinking, “Not at your core level. We love to cause strife, why would that be?”

Eris laughed, “Maybe because you ate a god!”

“Hold up, I could eat Melin?”

Captain grimaced, “If you can overpower her, yes.”

I slowly nodded, “It does explain why I like to cause conflicts. But if I have quirks and abilities of everyone I once was or have eaten and connected with, then can’t I look like them? I mean, I get you, and the other me’s, but what about Eris?”

Captain exhaled so deeply, I thought he was going to blow me away. “Yes, but if you master this, you can disable traits and quirks. As for Eris, she is technically dead. What we have in here, is her soul. Her blueprint is in your soul in the, special chamber, like a suit you can wear.”

“That sounds creepy and very villainy.”

Eris laughed, “Well, you did it sucker!”

“Fine, if I wanted to change my look, how would I go about that?”

Eris sighed, “You can just swap, moron.”

Captain nodded, “What she said, imagine looking like her, and add a bit of energy for flair.”

“Before I do that, for example, if I would eat an alien, could I turn into an alien after that?”

A spoke up, “Seriously, that is what you are wondering?”

I shrugged, “Yep.”

A sighed, “Yes, you could then turn into that alien while getting some of said alien’s abilities.”

I closed my eyes, and imagined I looked like Eris, then I added some energy. When I opened my eyes, I looked at myself. Well, I look like Eris. “Holy fuck I am a woman!” I screamed, “Fuck! I did not think this through.” My mind got filled with laughter. I lifted my shirt, “Oh my god.”

Eris sighed, “Are you done freaking out?”

“Yes, I think. Why am I wearing different clothes?”

Eris spoke up, “This is, or was my favorite outfit.”

“Some sweatpants and a wide shirt with, what is that for logo?”

Eris shrugged, “I loved to be comfortable.”

Lory barged into the bunk, I shrieked, I did not know I could shriek like a woman. Lory spawned her weapons. “Hold up, it’s me,” I started sniffling, “It’s me.”

Lory stared at me, “What, the motherfucking, actual fuck.”

“I am, just, you know, figuring out my new power set. Everyone in my mind is awake, and we got to chatting, and before I knew it, I turned into a woman.”

Lory pointed at me with her sword, “You turned into tentacle woman?”

“Well, it is not like I have another woman in my head.”

Lory hung her head and despawned her weapons. “Steve?”

“Yes?”

“You shrieked.”

“I know.”

Haley barged in with her red blade, she stared at me. “Dad?”

“Hey Munchkin.”

Funk also barged in. “What is this, happy hour or something? Can’t a guy have some peace for a few minutes?”

Funk pointed at me, “You might need to take another look in the mirror mate, you’re not a guy anymore.”

Lory started snickering, then she burst out in laughter. I hung my head, “Come on, that is not funny Funk.”

Haley walked over, “Hey dad?”

“Yes?”

“Look at your arm.” I lifted my right arm. Haley facepalmed herself.

Then I looked at my left arm, it just dawned upon me. I gasped, “My left arm is back!”

I walked over to Lory, she smirked at me, “If you think you are getting a kiss in that form, then you are wrong. Hugging is as far as this goes.” I closed my eyes and with some energy, I changed back to my normal form.

Bella walked in, “Hey, everyone is gathering here, is something going on?”

Funk nodded, “Steve has learned how to swap genders.”

Haley tilted her head, “It is strange, your arm just vanished.”

“Oh, wait I have an idea.” I closed my eyes and changed into Captain. I sighed, “Did you put on a fucking white robe for this?” Inside my mind, I heard him laughing.

Bella came closer, “Holy shit, is that you Steve?”

“Yes, why?”

“You, you, I, what?” She even touched my face, “Steve?”

“Yes Bella?”

“Your hair, your facial look, it changed.”

Bella kept staring at me, “Is he in there?” I nodded. Bella whispered something in my ear, “Can you forgive me?”

Captain spoke up in my mind, “Tell her, I do forgive her. The others may hear it.”

I looked at Bella, “He tells me, he does forgive you.”

Lory looked at Bella, “What is going on here? You know the guy in his head?”

Bella smiled as she walked away. Funk looked at me, he nodded and left. Haley looked at me, “At least now I know why he kept talking about Bella’s ass.”

Lory sighed, “Seriously?”

I nodded, “This is quite amazing. I wonder what else I am capable of that I have not figured out yet.”

Lory sighed, “We need some kind of code, just between us, to make sure, you are you.”

I smiled, “Just look at me.”

She gazed into my eyes, she had a huge grimace on her face, “I am looking at you Steve.”

Haley looked into my eyes, “Yep, dad is in there.”

“See, you two can always recognize if it’s me. Shall we go to the deck?” They both nodded, and we started walking, I took Haley and Lory’s hand. It felt good to have two arms again, even if technically, this is not my body, or well my suit?

We walked onto the deck, and I saw Abby looking at the passing by clouds. Haley chuckled softly, she looked at Lory. She sighed and nodded. They both looked at me. I shrugged and swapped to look like Eris. I snuck over to Abby, I shrieked loudly in a girly voice in her ear. She jumped up and turned around to swing a sword at me, I dodged aside and shot a tentacle to grab her sword. “Surprise Abby.”

She panted, “Steve?”

I laughed, “Got ya sucker!”

“Jeez, you can shriek louder than I can, and oh my god, why did you turn into a woman? How did you even do that?”

“I thought you had all the answers Abby,”

she sighed, “I clearly don’t.”

I gave Abby her sword back, and I looked at Brickton coming closer. “A?”

“Yes?”

“Can I use your wings, in any form?”

“Sure, right now?”

“Yeah, please.” Angelic wings sprouted from my back, they are a beautiful white color with fluffy feathers. Haley walked over to me and took my left hand. I felt happiness emanate from Captain.

Lory walked over and sighed, “Fine, give me your hand Steve.” I chuckled and took her hand.

Abby looked at me, “You are strange Steve.”

“Says the woman who turned into a black glob and crawled inside me.”

Funk walked over, “Indeed, that was weird, but you being a woman is weirder Steve.”

I sighed, “I think everything is strange at this point.” We saw Brickton below us, people started gathering. “Oh, I got a feeling!”

With a big grin, I looked at them, “see ya guys!” I let go and jumped overboard.

I flew next to the airship while using my wings in synch to fly. Lory crossed her arms while looking at me, “You realize, you are going to give lessons on how to fly to our daughter? Just in case she gets the idea to jump out of an airship again.”

Haley looked sad, “Dad?”

“Yes?”

“Can you say something nice about Shirley when we bury her? I know you did not know her but, it would mean the world to me.”

“Of course, I will do that Munchkin, now, I am going to give your grandma some shocking news.”

Lory hung her head, “She is going to murder me.”

I flew down to the crowd that was gathering and landed in front of them. Paul walked over to me, “Hello there, and who might you be?”

Talia walked over, “Yes, did they pick up a new crew member?”

I looked at them, “Paul, you don’t recognize me? You never called back.”

Paul scratched his head, “What?”

Talia started snickering. “Paul, maybe you should apologize.”

“But, I don’t even know this is?”

I gasped, “You have forgotten our time together already?”

Paul turned red, “I seriously don’t know who you are.”

“Humph, how dare you Paul!?”

He started stammering but managed to get words out, “I am going to the hangar bay.” He ran away.

I walked over to Talia, “That was fun.”

She looked at Paul running away, “You have no idea who he is, right?”

“Oh, I know, I also know you Talia.” I showed her my wedding ring.

She gasped, “Holy fuck you turned into a woman.”

“Yeah, awesome, right? Look, in all sincerity and honesty, please, be gentle with Haley.”

Talia came closer, “What happened?”

I sighed, “She lost someone she started falling for. Shirley died to protect Haley.”

Talia nodded, “thank you for letting me know Steve. Is she doing alright?”

“No, but she is trying to hide her heaviest emotions. Can you help arrange the funeral?”

Talia nodded and offered me a hug. I hugged her, and she wrapped her tail around me, “I am sorry for your loss. And welcome back, is Lorraine fine?”

“Yes, she has been through some shit, we all have, but, we made it. However, Stratos Isle is no more.”
