Raditz stares at the screen in front of him, counting the seconds as he idly watches the numbers on his character sheet tick up.

He groans at the snail-like pace his Ki purity increases at. Maybe he should be happy. After all, his power level has increased by almost 25% when compared to the 0% Ki purity he previously had, but it's just so boring. He's finished the Beginner's Guide to Ki Control now, and while he was previously occupied with learning the techniques from it... well.
He looks below him, where his feet are floating several inches off the ground. Learning those techniques wasn't very hard once he knew what to do.

Raditz's stomach growls as he waits for his Ki to reach its purity limit, reminding him that he hasn't eaten since he crashed on this planet.
'I have nothing better to do, may as well see what I can rustle up...'
He groans as he stretches, allowing his feet to touch the ground. Looking down at the nearby crater leading deep underground, he begins to move. His scouter blares out several warnings as he looks towards the entrance.
Combat Power: 837
Combat Power: 1244
Combat Power: 1620
Combat Power: 1900
Combat Power:...
After a dozen more similar warning, Raditz halts in his tracks.
'That's... that's a lot of enemies. Maybe I can...?' he trails off in his thoughts as his hand reaches towards his ear. Pressing a button on the scouter to turn it off, he begins to manually lower his Ki signature, doing his best to conceal his power level. After a few moments to confirm that his new stealth mode works, he continues down into the tunnels-- right before his stomach rumbles again.
'I'm hungry, dammit! Screw stealth!' he thinks as he dashes through the tunnels at full speed, not even bothering to hide his physical approach. Using his Ki sense to find his way in the dark, he tracks down the weakest power level he can sense.
Finding his way through the maze-like structure of the tunnels is surprisingly simple. His Ki sense allows him to sense not only the Ki of others, but also the small amount of Ki possessed by the planet itself.
After a few minutes of dashing that is only briefly interrupted once he stumbles across an underground pool that was probably safe to consume, he casts a glance towards his character sheet, grinning at what he sees.

He instantly stops the purifying process, laughing at the surprisingly pleasant feeling he senses from his Ki. Soon after, he slams into his target, not even realizing that he had reached it until after his body sends it flying into the wall. Raditz screeches to a halt as he stares at the fresh hole in the tunnel wall.
...
...
'Is it dead?'
A loud roar comes out from a furious creature as it launches itself out of the hole. Raditz acts quickly, and immediately grabs it by the mouth, grinning to himself as the creature tries to bite his hand, unable to pierce his skin. The creature itself is one of the ugliest things Raditz has laid eyes upon, looking like a cross between a giant mole and a centipede. He shudders slightly as its many furry limbs scratch at his body. The opposite end from its head has a long, thin protrusion. He can only assume that it is supposed to be a stinger. It thrusts the stinger towards his neck, twisting and turning in an attempt to escape his grasp. With his other hand, he grabs the stinger just before it reaches him.
'Needle-like, sharp as hell, and... I sense something insidious inside it. Yep. This is a stinger.' he muses, sharply increasing his grip on the creature's face. It goes limp with a crack.
After spending some time poking and prodding the creature with his Ki sense, Raditz eventually determines that it is safe to consume. Focusing his mind, he attempts a trick he thought up earlier.
'If I take my Ki and rapidly move it back and forth, the friction will...' "Aha!" he shouts in glee as his Ki ignites. With flames dancing in his eyes, he browses "his" memories to learn how to butcher and cook an animal, which the centi-mole probably counts as.
He sits, silently waiting for his meal to cook. His mind, ever so active, races as he thinks of what to do next.
'I have about three months until I have to leave. I'm, frankly, a horrible fighter. I know jack-shit about martial arts. The only things I have going for me are my Great Ape form, my raw strength compared to the creatures of this planet, and my tail, which I can control almost like another limb... but these are also my greatest weaknesses. I can't control my Great Ape form, and I can't even use it unless the moon is out. Hell, I'm not even sure that this planet has a moon. My raw strength can help, but It'll be useless if I ever meet someone stronger than me. It'll be useless on Earth. And lastly, my tail... ugh. This is my biggest weakness. If someone grabs it, then that's it. Fight over, I'm dead. Maybe I can-- oh, food's done!'
After his food is finished cooking, he turns his attention to these weaknesses while he eats.
'The other me's memories state that only Saiyan Elites like Nappa and Vegeta can avoid going berserk while in their Great Ape forms... but this can't be right! I'm sure it's possible to keep my reason, I just don't know how. I'll have to do more research on this later. There must be a trick to it. As for the moon problem... maybe I can learn to throw a Power Ball? That's what Vegeta used in the show to turn himself into a Great Ape... yeah, that'll work. I'll have to figure out how to create Blutz waves with Ki.'
'The other me didn't know how to fight. I mean, he got basic training and such, so he definitely knew more than me, but he wasn't really a martial artist. I can't really do anything to fix this. I suppose I could hope that the System will give me something as a reward for a quest? That's not guaranteed though. The best I can do is equal the other me's skill until I get proper training.'
'I know from the other me's memories that I can get rid of my tail's weakness if I train it. It's supposed to be a hard, difficult, and painful process... hurray. The training process usually takes closer to half a year or so, but I think that if I beat the crap out of it on a daily basis, I can get rid of the weakness before I have to leave for Earth.'
'Well, no better time to start than the present...' he thinks hesitantly, holding back a pained scream as he grabs his tail.
'Ok... ok... I'm fine, I'm fine. I can deal with this, it doesn't hurt that much... it doesn't hurt-- sonofabitch!' he shouts in his mind as something slams into him from behind, causing his hand to reflexively tighten its hold on his tail. Dazed, confused, and in pain, he is unable to respond to the next attack, one that launches him through several yards of stone.
Soon after, he feels something scratching his armored back. To his immense surprise, he can feel the claws pierce his armor and break his skin. The blood running down his back shocks him into action, causing him to send his foot backwards directly into the creature's stomach. Turning around, he sees another one of those orange reptile monsters racing past the one he just kicked.
He blocks a flurry of attacks from the smaller reptile, gritting his teeth in pain as the claws shear through his armor to bite into his skin. With a primal roar to match the barbaric look of his opponents, Raditz forces Ki to travel to his arm, instantly reinforcing it enough to hold up under the reptile's claws. His fist, heavy with Ki, quickly responds to the sudden ambush by blasting his opponent's head off its shoulders. The first opponent roars as its ally falls, and is quickly joined by almost a dozen others, creating a symphony of primal voices shouting their rage at Raditz. He rolls his shoulders, cracks his knuckles, and prepares himself for the onslaught of enemies.
The first charges directly at him, arms outstretched as it tries to tackle Raditz. His knee flies up into the opponent's jaw, breaking its neck. Turning quickly, he launches the Ki blast he's been charging into the path of the next. Focusing on the energy ball, he wills it to hold its form as opposed to exploding. The ball of rotating Ki pierces through several of the reptiles before running out of energy.
The next opponent meets its end soon after, Raditz's fist piercing its throat. Shaking the gore off his hand, he slams his shoulder into the still standing corpse, sending it crashing into the rest of them. Suddenly, something flies out from the crowd of enemies. Raditz's eyes widen as he dodges what appears to be a ball of Ki, which explodes from behind him. The explosion launches him forwards, right into the claws of a grinning reptile...
...or it would've, if he hadn't learnt to fly. With speed that surprises himself, he manages to turn his body just enough to avoid the claws aiming for his heart, which leave deep scratch marks in his armor. A lightning-fast kick separates the creature's head from its body, launching it to collide with the next enemy in line. He lands, pointing his hand at the remaining enemies as he pours Ki into a blast. Half a second passes, time seems to freeze as the creatures' wide eyes stare at their impending doom...
...and yet there's no explosion. No incineration of the enemies. No Kaboom.
Raditz's frozen face stares at the reptiles.
The reptiles stare back.
As Raditz forces his head to turn, to look behind him, he comes eye to eye with the opponent who's throat he punched through, the opponent who is now gripping his tail. Glassy, half-dead eyes stare at him. Eyes that almost look... humanlike. Like a silent plea, asking him to stay his hand.
The thought unnerves him. The thought sickens him. 'Are these things... sapient?!' he stands there, silently horrified as the reptile's grip fades from his tail. 'But... but they attacked me first! They tried to kill me! If anything, this is self defense!'
As he tries to justify the fight to himself, he slowly lowers his hand, dismissing the Ki blast that formed outside of it. Without taking a look back, he dashes off into the tunnels, trying to control the thoughts in his head.
'Gotta... gotta find some place to clean myself off-- oh God what've I-- no... no, don't think about that.' Raditz's guilt fades as quickly as it sprung up as a strange sense of calm takes hold of him. 'I need to hide. If they're sapient or sentient or whatever the word is, then they'll be back for revenge. I need to make myself strong enough for them to not try that again...' he thinks while running, keeping his spiritual senses open to avoid another ambush like the one he just escaped from.
'I just need to get away from them, then I can carve out a place for me to live in for the next three months... a place for me to live, train, and sleep. If I make it clear that I live there, and if I chase away a few ambushes, they should recognize that they're no match and leave me alone...'
