Krillin watches in awe as the two behemoths face off against each other. The energy he feels from them is immense, stronger than any he's felt before, and knowing that they're this strong while injured makes him wonder how frightening they'd be at peak performance...

Shaking his head, he turns his attention away from the two apes, dashing at Goku's broken body while Vegeta is distracted. Moving quickly, he scoops the injured Saiyan into his arms, then makes a mad dash away from the battlefield. The blind ape, Vegeta, turns towards Krillin, about to do something to stop the bald fighter from fleeing. Before he can, however, the other Great Ape launches a massive elbow at speeds beyond what Krillin can see.

A gigantic tooth goes flying when the elbow meets the blind ape's maw. Roaring in pain, the Prince launches a beam of energy from his hand, launching Raditz backwards. The ground trembles as he lands on his back, almost causing Krillin to drop Goku. While Vegeta pounds his remaining fist into the fallen ape, Krillin sets Goku down a safe distance from the fight. A split second later, he jumps in shock as Goku's voice suddenly appears inside his head.

"Krillin... where are the Senzu Beans?"

"Yajirobe... uh..." Krillin stammers. "...he ate them all. Korin is out of Senzu Beans."

Goku's eyes fly open in shock. He voices his surprise, despite how much it pains him.

"He what?!"

"He ate all of the Senzu Beans."

Raditz moves quickly, turning to the side to dodge Vegeta's attack. The Prince's fist hits the ground next to Raditz, producing a devastating shockwave that crumbles the rocky hills near the battlefield. Acting quickly, he traps Vegeta's hand in-between his left arm and body, kicking out at the ape's legs in an attempt to knock the stronger warrior to the ground. Vegeta growls as he tries to free his hand from Raditz. However, even with all his immense power, he somehow fails to extract his arm. With an animalistic roar, the Prince of all Saiyans lowers his head towards Raditz... and tries to bite him. Raditz quickly releases the Prince's arm, throwing his own arm in the way of the blind ape's maw. As the animalistic Saiyan's teeth bite into Raditz's arm, he roars, releasing a beam of energy from his mouth.

The weaker ape crawls to his feet as his opponent is flung away. With his mind clouded by bloodlust, Raditz looks to the sky, the pain from his wounds allowing him to fight against the mindlessness caused by the Great Ape form.

'He's too strong... the Earthlings won't be able to stop him while he's a Great Ape.' he thinks, gathering his energy as he prepares to blow up the artificial moon Vegeta made. Before he can release his energy attack, the blind ape throws himself at him, attacking like a wild animal. Raditz scowls, turning just in time to meet his opponent's charge. He barely ducks underneath Vegeta's wildly swinging fist, hammering his good knee into the ape's stomach at the same time. As Vegeta opens his mouth to roar yet again, Raditz sweeps the Prince's leg, sending him to the ground.

With the tables now turned, Raditz puts his good knee on Vegeta and begins to rain down blows on the Prince of all Saiyans. Each attack causes the Earth to shake, with shockwaves that can be felt by Krillin. Elbows, headbutts, Ki attacks... Raditz uses everything he has left to beat down Vegeta, his lust for blood causing him to forget about his goal of destroying the artificial moon. Vegeta resists, of course, landing several powerful blows on Raditz from his position, although the one-eyed ape is able to mitigate the worst of the damage due to his superior skill.

Eventually, the Prince manages to get his feet in-between himself and Raditz, kicking the Great Ape away. With a bestial growl, the blind ape pours as much Ki as he can into his body, supercharging his physical abilities as he launches himself at Raditz.

Krillin winces as the two giants clash yet again, the aftereffects of their fight can be felt from miles away, and can be sensed from across the planet. He takes deep breaths, gathering energy from the air in an attempt to speed up his Ki regeneration. His concentration is broken when Goku's voice appears in his head yet again.

"Krillin... come here."

Curious as to what he has planned, Krillin takes a knee next to Goku's injured body, who takes his hands with a great effort. The bald Earthling's mouth falls open in an O shape as Goku passes an immense amount of energy to him.

"G-Goku?! What is this? Where'd you get all this energy?!" he asks.

"It's a technique I learned while training in Otherworld. It's called the Spirit Bomb... it's energy gathered from Earth. You need to compress it into a ball. It's the only thing that can stop that monster."

"You don't think that your brother will beat the other Saiyan?"

"Raditz was half dead when I showed up... even while blind, I can't see that other Saiyan losing. You need to--"

Right as Goku says this, Vegeta's hand wraps around Raditz's broken arm, pulling the weaker Saiyan downwards, allowing Vegeta to send his knee directly into his opponent's shattered jaw. As the slightly taller ape's head is snapped backwards, the Prince takes advantage of the situation, sending a vicious kick towards Raditz's injured knee. Raditz stays standing only because he wraps his arm around Vegeta, which allows the stronger warrior to rain attacks down on him.

"...Alright, are you sure this will work?" Krillin says nervously.

"It's our only hope... you are our only hope." Goku replies.

With this immense amount of pressure on his shoulders, Krillin flies closer and closer towards the battling apes. He stays behind Vegeta's back, eyeing the large hole in the Saiyan's armor. He begins to focus, guiding the energy Goku gave him into a ball, condensing it as much as he can...

Raditz flies backwards, vision blurry as he avoids the latest string of attacks from Vegeta.

The pain is immense, almost all consuming. Raditz is feeling agony he's never felt before, and it almost causes him to faint yet again. If it wasn't for the hellish training he went through to get rid of his tail's weakness, and a Saiyan's natural resistance to pain, he wouldn't be conscious.

'Vegeta must be in a similar position.' he reasons. 'I just... I just need to exploit that.'

With a loud groan, Raditz lands on his good leg, glaring at Vegeta as the blind Saiyan dashes towards him. As the Prince arrives in front of Raditz, the weaker Saiyan throws himself directly at Vegeta's legs. The two of them crash into the ground, and the shockwaves from their crash landing almost cause Krillin to lose his concentration. The two struggle while on the ground, Vegeta attempting to free himself from Raditz's grasp and get to his feet, and Raditz attempting to use his superior grappling skills to keep the Prince on the ground.

The Saiyans go back and forth, neither able to get the upper hand due to Raditz's injuries. Eventually, Krillin's eyes widen, his focus paying off. In the short martial artist's right hand is a large, glowing ball of blue energy. Grinning to himself, he dashes at the struggling apes...

Raditz and Vegeta suddenly sense an incredible amount of energy, the shock of which clears the bloodlust from their minds, allowing both of the Great Apes to think clearly. As Vegeta turns around in a panic, Raditz suddenly realizes something.

'That energy... that's the Spirit Bomb! But... but it isn't enough! Earth's energy couldn't kill Vegeta while he's a human, but now that he's a Great Ape... they'll stand no chance!' he thinks, tackling the blind ape to keep the Prince from attacking Krillin. He looks to the sky as Vegeta tries to struggle away from Raditz, charging all his remaining energy into a beam that builds in his mouth...

Vegeta pounds his fist into Raditz's broken ribs as he realizes what the weaker Saiyan is planning, completely forgetting about Krillin. Soon, he utilizes his superior strength to kick Raditz off of him, and then snaps his foot into Raditz's good leg, sending him onto the ground...

Vegeta stomps on the downed warrior ape, grinning as he feels something crack beneath his foot. Suddenly, he feels a searing heat on his back...

He flies forward, mind blank with pain as the Spirit Bomb drills into his wounded back. Just before Raditz slips into unconsciousness, he uses the last of his energy to fire a powerful blast of Ki towards the glowing white orb in the sky. He grins to himself, despite the pain he is in, as he feels his body begin to shrink...

Krillin slowly walks towards Vegeta, almost completely devoid of energy. To his shock, the blind Saiyan is still standing, although he appears to be on the verge of collapsing. Vegeta's head turns towards Krillin as the bald man approaches, all of the anger and pride that once filled him is now replaced by pure exhaustion. He slowly raises his hand, getting into a fighting position as the short martial artist draws closer.

Suddenly, Krillin bursts into movement, launching a flurry of strikes at Vegeta. The Prince is unable to dodge the majority of the blows due to his stamina being at an all time low. The bald man's fists slam into Vegeta's body, and audible cracks can be heard as the Saiyan's tough bones finally break.

Vegeta instantly realizes that he won't be able to defend against the onslaught of attacks from the Earthling, and instead decides to go on the offense. What follows is a brutal slugfest that has the two trade blows. Krillin is the better fighter by far, but he's also exhausted, and far, far weaker. Vegeta, on the other hand, is stronger than Krillin, but the many wounds weaken the Prince, causing his attacks to be sluggish. They go back and forth, both fighters unwilling to give, both of them being unwilling to lose.

One of them, however, can't keep up with the brutality of the fight, eventually collapsing on the ground despite how much they will their body to continue...

Vegeta stares blankly as Krillin's skull bounces off the ground, the bald man finally succumbing to the mighty attacks of the Prince of all Saiyans. He feels... empty. These weaklings pushed him this far, one of the weakest among them even managed to severely injure him! He should be furious... and yet he isn't. He's far too tired for that. He pulls a small, rectangular device from his pocket, blindly feeling the buttons until he finds what he's looking for. He calls his space pod to his location, before he stumbles forward, raising a fist to finish off the bald Earthling in front of him...

And then, out of nowhere, he feels a sharp pain in the same exact location that the Spirit Bomb hit. The pain is worse than any other injury he suffered, but it only lasts for a split second. He tries to dash forwards, away from his new attacker, but...

...but his legs refuse to follow his commands. In fact, he can't even feel them. He crashes down on the ground in confusion, not knowing what's going on. He hears a new voice come from behind him.

"You're tough. My sword couldn't even penetrate your flesh."

Panicked, he reaches out with his newly developed Ki sensing abilities, trying to understand what is happening. Standing behind Vegeta is a short, fat man carrying a sword. His energy feels far weaker than any of the warriors he's seen today. Vegeta's mind goes blank with fear as the fat Earthling raises his sword...

Just before Yajirobe can bring his sword down on Vegeta, a voice suddenly appears inside his head.

"Wait, Yajirobe, stop! Don't kill him!" Goku says.

Yajirobe jumps, startled by his friend's voice. "Goku?! What do you mean stop?! Why is your voice in my head?!"

"I'm using telepathy to speak to you... I learnt it in Otherworld. He's crippled and beaten, he'll never fight again."

"Half of our friends are dead because of him, Goku! Let me kill him!"

As Goku tries to convince his fat friend to spare Vegeta's life, a small, white pod lands on the ground a short distance away. The Prince of all Saiyans crawls, using his one remaining hand to drag himself towards his ship...

By the time Yajirobe notices, it's far too late, and the ship rises into the sky. The fat man scowls as he watches the ship disappear into space, before speaking into a phone-like device.

"Is this thing working...? Bulma, if you can hear me, I'm going to need your help to transport Goku and the others to a hospital. They're in rough shape..."

As Yajirobe talks to Bulma, a small Ding! reaches Raditz's unconscious ears...
