Raditz's eyes snap open in confusion as he feels the air rush past him. He looks around frantically, ignoring the blue Quest complete! screen in front of his eyes. The ground, which is hundreds, if not thousands of yards under him, is cracked, dry, and looks to be dark orange in color. The area as far as the eye can see is littered with craters. Some are shallow, while he can't see the bottom of others. Before the Saiyan can twist his head around to look behind him, he feels a great impact against his back, slamming his body towards the ground at an even greater speed.
'What the hell?!' he thinks as he gets closer and closer towards the ground. He flips in midair, turning to see what hit him, and immediately spots a yellow reptilian creature rushing towards him. It looks vaguely humanoid, with a pair of claws that send shivers down his spine. As the claws get closer and closer, he moves on instinct, leaning to the side as his fist snaps out to throw his attacker back. To his shock, the reptile moves mid-air, easily dodging the punch. It lines itself up for another charge before he can react, and as the claws impact his chest, Raditz's scouter helpfully blares out a warning.
Combat Power: 1037
His mouth moves on its own, twisting into a savage grin as he reads the creature's power level. The Ki in his Core rushes to fill his body, carried through his Ki veins to rapidly increase his power. He grabs the creature's outstretched arm, its hand still scratching ineffectively at his Battle Armor. Faintly amused as he's reminded of his brief fight against Kakarot, he heaves the alien over his shoulder, using every ounce of his strength to launch it down towards the hard ground below them. His grin widens as he looks at the immense crater that just formed due to his actions... right before he realizes that he's still falling.
'Oh, what the--! System, how do I fly?!' he thinks in a panic. Without even bothering to wait to see if he gets an answer, he desperately searches through "his" memories.
Alas, the pull of gravity waits for no man, no matter how handsome they may be. While he's too busy being caught up in his thoughts, the ground spirals closer and closer. He closes his eyes in fear as he impacts the...
...the ground...?
His eyes shoot open as he feels the rocky earth underneath him. He hit it, and he hit it hard judging by the new crater around him, but it wasn't the deadly impact he'd expect from hitting the ground.
'Right, I'm a super strong space pirate capable of destroying moons. Something like terminal velocity won't kill me...' he thinks, deeply grateful that nobody was around to see his fall through the air. A quick look around him causes any gratefulness to disappear as he groans in despair.
Pieces of metal and red glass litter the area near him. The remains of his ship, no doubt. As he stares at the white sky he just fell from, he begins to deeply regret his choice to come here.
Dammit! I thought this planet was supposed to be weak! The database said that the highest power level was 600! What the hell is this?!'
Raditz sends a message to Nappa with a bitter scowl on his face, explaining the general situation and requesting a space pod to go to his location.
"YOU DID WHAT?!"
As Nappa's loud, angry voice blasts his eardrum, Raditz makes the wise decision to take the scouter off, holding it a few feet away from his ear. He can faintly hear the older Saiyan's voice even from this distance.
"Useless, runty little...! When I get my hands on you I'm gonna...! Shouldn't have expected you to...!"
After several uninterrupted minutes, Nappa finally cools down enough for Raditz to decide to put the scouter back on, catching the end of Nappa's sentence.
"...3 months. Then you'll immediately head back to Earth and meet up with us, got it?!'
"Yes, Nappa." he replies, not at all getting it.
The bald Saiyan ends the call after just a few more insults, much to Raditz's relief. With a sigh, he slowly begins walking in the direction of the deep craters he saw earlier.
'May as well see what's down there... probably more of those aliens judging by my luck. Since that thing attacked me around this area, it must live around here. If it does, there's probably a source of food and water close by.'
With the thought of food to cheer him on, he brings up his character sheet, before his eyes widen in pure shock at what he sees.

'O-over 3000?! That's more than double what it was when I was on Earth!' his thoughts run wild as a grin plasters itself on his face. 'That's almost as strong as Piccolo was when Nappa and Vegeta arrived on Earth! If I'm at his level now, then in three months... well, I should be strong enough to betray Vegeta and Nappa, which will redeem myself in Kakarot's eyes! After that, I can laze around Earth to my heart's content!'
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
With this new hope to harden his resolve, he decides that he will not spend the next three months doing nothing on this planet. He will use this time to train, to become as powerful as he can possibly be. Then, he'll destroy Nappa, help Kakarot drive Vegeta away from Earth, and spend the rest of his life relaxing.
'First things first... System, open A Beginner's Guide to Ki Control. Continue where I left off.'
A Beginner's Guide to Ki Control: Written by &*@!)6t#$
Purifying Ki is different from simply condensing it. True Pure Ki is Your Ki that has been purged of any and all outside influences, becoming more and more attuned to you. Once all the Ki in your body is purified to a certain extent, it will naturally generate Ki of the same purity.
Obtaining True Pure Ki is a long, lengthy, and dangerous process that requires you to repeatedly purify the Ki inside your body. Over time, your body will become used to the purity of the Ki inside it, automatically purifying any Natural Ki it absorbs. Purifying your Ki is both far easier than condensing it and far more dangerous. While you will instinctively know how to purge your Ki of outside influences, you must know your limits with the utmost precision. If your Ki is even a little too pure for your current Ki density, you will immediately begin to suffer the consequences.
Raditz whistles as he walks, a grin evident on his face as he begins to purge any outside influences from his Ki.
'Ha! Know my limits?! I have something to do that for me! System, open the character sheet and update it in real time!'
Accessing character sheet......
Name: Raditz
Age: 34
Power level: 3312
Health: 100/100
Stamina: 100/100
Ki:100/100
Ki density: 1 (maximum of 3)
Ki purity: 0.001% (maximum of 2.5%)
Transformations: Great Ape (Uncontrolled)
Techniques: None
Raditz chuckles to himself while he marvels at the genius of his idea.
'Perfect! It goes up slowly enough for me to cut it off at the exact moment I reach my limit, and I don't even have to focus to train it! I wonder... System, open another screen while keeping my character sheet visible.'
As the thought pops into his head, the System leaps to respond to his order, creating two near-identical screens. One blank, one filled with his character sheet.
'Good! Open A Beginner's Guide to Ki Control on the second screen.'
He sighs as it brings the guide up on the blank screen, starting right at the beginning.
'Specifically, where I last read it. Actually, as a matter of fact... make that the default when I ask you to open something I've seen before!'

Making your Ki dense and pure isn't the most important thing. Even the best Ki will be useless if you can't control it well enough. Controlling Ki is like exercising a muscle. The more you use it, the more you'll be able to do with it. There are countless ways to train Ki control, but the most basic way is to circulate your Ki through your Ki veins. Unless you want to temporarily increase your physical abilities, try to make sure that no Ki bleeds out into your body, or you'll just be wasting Ki.
New quest: Train your Ki control!
Quest details: The control you have over your Ki is pathetic! You're wasting Ki with every step you take, circulate your Ki through your Ki veins to increase the control you have over it!
Quest progress: 0/100,000 circulations
Time remaining: Unlimited
Rewards: Access to Ki control stat
Punishment for failure: N/A
Raditz can't stop himself from laughing at his new quest. 100,000 circulations? Easy, right? He hardly has to focus to keep this up while purifying his Ki. 'Maybe this training thing isn't so bad... how many circulations can I do in a minute?'
He closes his eyes and begins to count the seconds as he forces Ki to run through his veins, doing his best to keep the Ki from leaking from his Ki veins.

Raditz's eyes fly open in shock. 'The quest is finished already?!' he thinks, unable to stop the grin from forming on his face.
Quest progressed!
1/100,000 circulations!
His face falls, the grin immediately wiped off of it. After instructing the System to turn quest progression notifications off, he takes a moment to do the math in his head, attempting to figure out how long he'd have to do this for to complete the quest...
...
...
And he quickly gives up. 'System, do you come with a calculator?' he thinks, not expecting an answer.
To his surprise, a small blue screen appears in front of his eyes. The screen... looks exactly like the basic calculator app his old phone had.
'Hehehe, this'll come in handy.' he chuckles, putting the numbers into the System's calculator.
'Over 24 days if I do this nonstop... I suppose it could be worse... right? Ah, whatever. System, bring A Beginner's Guide to Ki Control back up.'
A Beginner's Guide to Ki Control: Written by &*@!)6t#$
Now that you've mastered the basic information, why don't you try learning the basic techniques? This guide will detail four basic things you can do with Ki.
1: Sensing Ki
2: Flight
3: Firing Ki blasts
4: Further manipulation of Ki
Ki sensing allows the user to sense the life energy of the target, allowing their location and power level to be revealed to the user. To describe it would be like describing sight to the blind. To sense Ki for the first time, one must ever so slightly condense the Ki around them, creating a sort of artificial gravity via Ki that draws in the Ki of the target. Sensing Ki becomes second nature after the first time you've done it.
Flight, as the name may suggest, allows the user to fly through the air as if they are unaffected by gravity. This requires them to subtly push their Ki outwards while still keeping it inside their body. With proper practice, the speed and precision of one's flight will increase exponentially, and the user may subconsciously fly. Flight, however, actively drains your Ki. As the purity and density of your Ki increases, your body may naturally produce more Ki than Flight uses, negating this issue.
Ki blasts are one of the simplest techniques one can learn, but one of the most difficult to master. There are countless ways to charge, store, and fire Ki blasts, but the most basic Ki blast simply requires the user to create a clump of Ki outside of the body, then launch it at an opponent.
There are many techniques that can be done with further manipulation of Ki. To do so requires proper Ki control. Almost all of these techniques will be more difficult than the basic Ki blast, Flight, and Ki sensing. Examples include but are not limited to: Ki shields, teleportation, sealing of the opponent, healing, mind control, creation of materials, deletion of materials, and telepathy.
Raditz smiles, actually eager to train for once.
'This is going to be fun...'
