Vegeta's hand slowly reaches upwards, feeling his now-crooked nose. When he pulls his hand away, his eyes fall upon his fingers, now covered in blood. He stands there for several seconds, stunned, before his brain finally processes what he sees.

"A low-class warrior... dares to spill my blood?!" he mumbles, eyes bloodshot with rage as his voice raises. "I was going to make your death quick, but now... now, you will suffer. I will make you regret this, you--!"

He is suddenly cut off as Raditz's form blurs, before something impacts Vegeta's broken nose hard enough to send the Prince flying backwards. Raditz follows up on his first attack, flying behind Vegeta at mind-boggling speeds. Before Vegeta gets a chance to react, Raditz has driven an elbow into Vegeta's back, right where his knee hit earlier. Vegeta suddenly spins around in the air, a ball of Ki building in each hands... only to find that nobody is there. Acting on instinct, the Prince kicks out behind him, interrupting the taller Saiyan before he can attack again.

Raditz soars backwards, unable to stop himself from crying out in pain as he stares at where Vegeta's foot hit him.

'I noticed, thanks System...' he thinks to himself, turning a shade of green as he stares at his arm, which is now bent in a direction it was never meant to go. Twisting in midair, he halts his momentum by planting his good leg on the ground. After taking a brief moment to reorient himself, he kicks off of the ground, launching himself towards Vegeta. Vegeta, for his part, stares at the approaching form of Raditz's with shock, surprised that the taller Saiyan can move despite his injuries. Shaking his head, he rushes forward to meet his opponent.

Raditz tilts to the side, narrowly avoiding a punch thrown by Vegeta. His uninjured leg snaps out, knocking the stronger Saiyan backwards. As he flies backwards, Vegeta sends a wall of Ki towards Raditz, completely decimating the area around the long-haired man. Raditz disappears before the blast can reach him, and like before, Vegeta kicks out behind him. However, Raditz predicted this, easily avoiding the leg as he hammers his left fist into Vegeta's spine several dozen times in a split second. He quickly backs off as he senses Ki gather around Vegeta, narrowly avoiding an injury as a dome of energy expands from the Prince, disintegrating the earth around him. Voice unsteady from pain, Raditz begins to mock Vegeta.

"Is that all, Prince? Don't tell me that you're having trouble against an opponent with two working limbs."

As soon as the words leave his mouth, he dodges out of the way. It was a good thing he did, as Vegeta had launched an exploding ball of Ki at where Raditz was floating as soon as he heard the taller Saiyan's voice. Yet again, Raditz appears behind the short Saiyan, pounding a fist into Vegeta's already damaged back, taking care not to put too much force into his blows, lest he break another bone on his opponent's spine. Raditz dances past Vegeta's counter attacks, bitterly thinking to himself the entire time.

'Dammit Kakarot! Hurry up!'

Over an hour after Vegeta's fight against Raditz began, Goku finally reaches the end of Snake Way. After a brief talk with King Yemma, the orange-clothed Saiyan arrives back on Earth, soaring towards two familiar power levels...

Raditz hooks his good arm around Vegeta's leg, twisting his body to send the Prince of all Saiyans into the dirt, before sending a wave of Ki at the short man before he can defend himself. Raditz jumps backwards as the Ki impacts Vegeta, who shrugs it off without flinching, launching himself at the taller Saiyan. Raditz's moves are precise, using just enough speed to dodge the fatal attacks Vegeta is throwing at him. However, almost all of Raditz's attacks are ineffective, his power level too low to seriously injure Vegeta... unless he targets an injury the Prince already has. Raditz hurt Vegeta earlier when he broke a knee on the Prince's spine. Raditz broke through Vegeta's armor, and if he was just a little bit stronger... he would've broke through the short Saiyan's spine as well. Utilizing his superior speed, Raditz continuously attacks that same spot where his knee hit. Eventually, the hits may begin to wear down his opponent...

Raditz ducks around another kick, appearing behind Vegeta to slam an elbow into his spine, grinning slightly as he hears the Prince hiss in pain. Raditz narrowly avoids a backhand by swiftly turning in midair, flying around the injured Saiyan in hopes of finding an opening. Despite all the hits he's landed on Vegeta, the shorter man doesn't seem bothered at all by them. The only thing Vegeta's rage clouded mind can focus on is killing Raditz... and he seems very focused on that. With a roar, Vegeta quickly appears in front of Raditz, attacking before the long-haired Saiyan can react, he slams both hands down on top of Raditz, throwing him into the ground.

'I get it System! I don't need to know how many broken bones I have. Just... tell me if they're broken.' Raditz thinks, shooting up to his feet as Vegeta tries to follow up on his attack.

Raditz grimaces at the blue screen in front of him, narrowly avoiding a kick from Vegeta that would've taken his head off.

'Dammit Kakarot! I can't hold out for much longer!'

Goku flies at top speed, even using the Kaioken to go even faster. Before long, he sees two small figures in the distance. He quickly arrives at their location, surprising both of them.

"Goku?!"

"Dad?!"

Krillin and Gohan cry out in surprise as they see the familiar martial artist.

"Krillin, Gohan, what's going on, where is everyone else?" Goku asks.

"Well..." Krillin begins.

Raditz sends a one-handed blast of Ki towards Vegeta's side, catching him by surprise. As Vegeta goes flying backwards, Raditz moves at top speed, burning through his stamina to get behind Vegeta. Forcing as much Ki as he can out of his hand, he launches a single ball of Ki, hitting Vegeta in the spine. Raditz grits his teeth, doing his best to ignore the pain he feels from his wounds as he waits for his opponent to attack. He doesn't have to wait long, as Vegeta soon roars in anger, launching himself at the taller Saiyan.

Raditz goes toe to toe with his more powerful adversary, narrowly dodging attack after attack, doing everything he can to weaken the Prince before Goku arrives. He sweeps Vegeta's leg out from under him, mocking Vegeta as the short Saiyan hits the dirt yet again.

"How's the ground taste, Prince? If you're tired of getting your ass kicked, we can stop anytime..."

Raditz is suddenly flung backwards as Vegeta roars, a furious aura exploding from his body. Raditz jerks his head backwards, barely avoiding a blast that would've taken his head off. In a panic, Raditz dodges to the side, avoiding a kick from Vegeta. Vegeta's attacks speed up further, forcing Raditz to constantly burn stamina to increase his speed. He slaps a punch to the side, causing it to barely clip his injured shoulder as opposed to hitting him head on. Despite barely being hit, the attack is enough to spin Raditz around, allowing the next hit to slam directly into him.

Raditz screams in pain, kicking off of Vegeta's body with his good leg to gain distance. He doesn't have much time to rest, however, as the Prince is relentless. In the span of a second, the short Saiyan has reached Raditz, launching attack after attack at the fleeing Saiyan. Raditz increases his speed even further, pushing his technique to the max just to stay alive. His speed multiplies by 6, quickly depleting what little amount of stamina he has left. In a last ditch effort, Raditz does his best to cripple Vegeta, knowing that the Saiyan will eventually catch up to him if he runs. Vegeta is unable to react to Raditz's speed, helpless as the taller man hammers blow after blow into him.

Raditz's vision is fuzzy as he feels his fist break against his enemy's body. Screaming in pain, he continues to attack, slamming his fist into Vegeta's spine over and over. He barely wastes time on dodging, his speed enough that he can dodge after Vegeta's attack has reached his body. Shockwaves traverse throughout the wasteland they're fighting in, knocking over small hills of stone. Raditz is fighting like he's never fought before, desperation causing him to unlock strength that he never knew he possessed. And yet...

It isn't enough.

Vegeta's body is too durable. Raditz's attacks cause the shorter man incredible pain, but they aren't able to shatter his spine. Instead, Raditz's fist shatters on the Prince of all Saiyan's spine, and he begins to slow...

Vegeta's hand finally reaches Raditz, catching his broken arm in a crushing grip. Raditz desperately struggles, doing his utmost to free himself... and failing. With a cruel grin on his face, Vegeta hammers his right fist into Raditz. Over, and over, and over again...

Raditz's vision blurs as Vegeta's fist mercilessly pounds into his body. With a shout of exertion, Vegeta slams Raditz into the ground, creating a large crater in the earth. As Vegeta stares at his opponent's body, unable to escape from him, his grin grows wider.

"Not so cocky now, are you?!" he says, punctuating each word with a punch.

Raditz groans in reply, barely conscious after the beating Vegeta has given him.

"That's what I thought." Vegeta mocks, sending more attacks at Raditz's broken body, holding back enough to not instantly kill the defeated Saiyan.

"You really thought you stood a chance against me?! You thought you could 'buy time' for Kakarot?! HA! Look at you! You're pathetic! I suppose I will humor you. After I'm finished toying with you, I'll wait for Kakarot to arrive, then I'll kill him in front of you! How does that sound? Knowing that you suffered so much pain for nothing--!" Vegeta's words are cut off as Raditz's left hand wraps around his mouth, firing a blast of Ki directly down the Prince's throat.

"Bastard!" Vegeta curses, easily slapping the hand away from him. "It seems like you're still not broken... very well. We should have some time before Kakarot arrives, I'll make you beg for death!"

As Vegeta says this, his hand releases Raditz's arm, instead moving towards his face... towards his eyes. Desperate screams of pain ring out through the area as Vegeta digs his fingers into Raditz's right eye, slowly but surely blinding the weaker Saiyan. As the eye pops, the tormented Saiyan goes limp, fading into unconsciousness. Vegeta chuckles, releasing his hold on Raditz. Slapping the unconscious man across the face, he continues speaking.

"Wake up, scum... I'm not finished with--"

Vegeta gets cut off yet again as something slams into him from behind, sending him flying into the distance. Before he can react, something impacts his head hard enough to cause him to see stars, sending him spiraling towards the ground. Feeling a faint sense of deja vu, his mind is quickly filled with pain as his back is hit hard. He scrambles away, coming face to face with his new opponent, a tailless Saiyan wearing an orange martial arts gi.

The new fighter's eyes linger on the broken, unconscious body of Raditz for several seconds, before he turns his gaze towards Vegeta.

"I'll give you a chance to leave before things turn ugly." Goku says, glaring at Vegeta.
