The two brothers stare silently at the area around them, taking in the scene in front of their eyes. They instantly spot a bald Earthling lying unconscious a short distance away. Close to Krillin lies a broken, half-dead child, breath ragged and uneven. In an instant, Goku appears by the boy's side, feeding a Senzu Bean to the Half-Saiyan. Jeice looks at the newcomers, eyes focused on the taller brother.

"Raditz?!" he says in surprise.

"..." Raditz doesn't respond, staring at Jeice in shock.

"Ha! I can't believe you'd show your face here! Did weak little Raditz come to save the day? I was surprised when I heard that you sent Vegeta packing. I never thought you'd grow a pair!"

"..." Raditz still stands there, frozen to the spot, as Goku gives Krillin a Senzu Bean.

"Ah, I guess you've got more hair than brains. To think that you'd show up here, knowing that you might face Lord Frieza's top men! One victory against this jackass--" Jeice pauses to send a kick to Vegeta's ribs. "--and you're thinking that you're hot shit."

"..."

Goku shoots a worried look towards his silent brother, moving next to Raditz before Jeice can react.

"Bloody hell, you're a fast one!" Jeice exclaims, taking a step back as Goku speaks to the taller man.

"Do you know him?" Goku asks, gesturing towards Jeice.

"...Yes." Raditz replies, finally speaking.

"Is he strong?"

"...Not compared to us."

Goku frowns, noticing that the large man isn't moving from his spot, sensing fear from the Saiyan. Misunderstanding why Raditz is afraid, he asks one more question.

"Do you want me to handle him?"

'Shit! What the fuck?! Why the hell is Jeice here?! Where the fuck is Recoome and Burter?!?! Why is there so much blood on the ground?!" Raditz thinks in a panic, staring at the red alien. It takes several moments for his brother's words to register. Before Raditz can reply, Jeice shouts as the duo.

"Handle me?! Who do you think you are?! I'm second in command of the Ginyu Force! I'll beat the piss out of both of you like I did with the others!"

'Stupid fucking butterfly effect! What else has changed?' Raditz thinks, before a strange sense of calm settles over him. 'No... no, it doesn't matter. I'll just have to deal with it when it happens.'

Jeice opens his mouth yet again, but is suddenly sent flying backwards as Raditz's fist embeds itself in his jaw.

Goku sighs in relief when he sees Raditz attack.

"Phew. You had me worried for a second there." he says with a chuckle.

Jeice spins in midair, facing Raditz... or where Raditz was half a second ago. The Saiyan moves behind his opponent at top speed, slamming a fist into the back of the red alien's head. Raditz stares at Jeice as the punch sends him skidding across the ground, leaving a deep groove in Namek's dirt.

Jeice lies on the ground, unmoving, for several seconds. Then, he quickly launches himself to his feet, throwing a large ball of red Ki at the Saiyan. Raditz easily bats the blast to the side, closing the distance between them in an instant.

A quick 1-2 combination bounces Jeice's head back, blood flowing from his nose. The red man tries to fight back, throwing a series of punches at the Saiyan. Unfortunately for Jeice, Raditz is far too strong for him. The alien's fists crumble ineffectively against Raditz's powerful body, leaving Jeice wide open for a counter.

Raditz smirks to himself as he lands a thudding uppercut into Jeice's stomach, audibly cracking several ribs. Before Jeice can react, a purple ball of energy appears in the Saiyan's left hand, pointed directly at the weaker man's face.

"Goodbye."

Jeice opens his mouth to scream, but is instantly engulfed by the wave of purple Ki, cutting him off before the sound can leave his mouth. Raditz turns to look at Vegeta, smiling at the Prince as the red alien is disintegrated.

'God... that must've looked so cool!' Raditz thinks ecstatically.

Vegeta, the Prince of all Saiyans, pales as he sees Raditz demolishing the alien.

"W-what the hell?! He... he killed that bastard!" he says in shock. "How did he grow so much in such a short amount of time?!"

"Hehe... we've been busy training on the way to Namek." Goku says, beaming at Vegeta. "Dr. Briefs installed a gravity machine on the ship. We spent most of the trip at 100 times Earth's gravity!"

"100 times?!" Vegeta exclaims.

"Yep! We're a lot stronger now than we were on Earth!"

"Hehe... we kind of... broke it on accident." Goku says, slightly embarrassed.

While Goku talks with Vegeta, Gohan, and Krillin, Raditz stares at the blue screen in front of his eyes, silently laughing with glee at his newfound strength.

Killing Frieza before he gets a chance to power up. Although Kakarot probably wouldn't become a Super Saiyan, and I doubt the System would let me make a change that big...' Raditz thinks, his good mood momentarily soured.

Shaking his head, he walks over to the freshly healed Vegeta, and begins speaking to the Prince.

"Where are the rest of the Ginyus? I can sense Burter and Ginyu, but where's Recoome and Guldo?"

Vegeta scoffs. "Dead, obviously. The Earthling and the Half-Saiyan killed Guldo, and I weakened Recoome enough for the bald one to finish him. That's why Jeice was able to overpower me."

Goku scratches his neck. "So this Frieza guy is in charge around here? Should we go to him to fight or wait until he comes to us?"

"It's too late." Vegeta says, hands clenched with rage. "The Ginyu Force took the Dragon Balls to Frieza. He'll have wished for immortality by now. We won't stand a chance."

Krillin shakes his head. "I don't think they've used the Dragon Balls yet. When we use the ones on Earth, the sky turns dark and a huge dragon can be seen in the sky. It's very obvious, and since I haven't seen anything like that yet, I think we have time."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Goku asks. "I can sense his power level from here, so finding him won't be hard. Let's go!"

Before Goku can take off in Frieza's direction, Raditz stops him.

"Wait! We should deal with Ginyu first. He's Frieza's strongest minion. He'll probably join in if we try to attack Frieza."

"I can sense him too... he doesn't seem like he'll be a problem, even if I don't use the Kaioken." Goku replies.

"Ginyu has the Namekian Dragon Balls." Raditz explains. "If Frieza isn't with Ginyu, then he probably isn't with the Dragon Balls. I know you're eager to have a good fight, but the entire point of this journey is to collect those Dragon Balls and wish your Namekian friend back."

"Alright... how about this? I'll go fight this Frieza guy, and you can go collect the Dragon Balls!"

Raditz, resisting the urge to slap his battle-hungry brother, responds instantly. "No. He'll kill you, even with your Kaioken."

"Oh come on!" Goku says. "He doesn't feel that strong! If I use Kaioken x10, then I'll definitely win!"

"Kakarot..." Raditz hesitates, unsure of what to say.

'Dammit! It's not like I can tell him that Frieza can transform. How the hell would I explain how I know that?!'

Goku smiles as he sees Raditz's hesitation. "Alright! I'm off then! I'll leave the Senzu Beans with you. I'll be back after I beat up Frieza!"

Goku leaves while Raditz is lost in thought, flying at max speed towards Frieza's location. A few seconds later, Raditz's head snaps up, and a grin plasters itself on his face.

'Ok! I know how I'll explain this! I'll just tell Kakarot that...' Raditz's thoughts stop as he looks around, sensing his brother quickly moving further and further away.

"...Goddammit."

Ginyu stares at the tall, blue man in front of him, disappointed.

"Burter! How could this happen?! You're supposed to be the Fastest in the Universe! I can't believe that you arrived after I already gave Lord Frieza a new scouter! I can't imagine how angry he'll be when he learns that the scouters aren't giving accurate readings!"

Burter hangs his head low, ashamed that he wasn't fast enough. "Yeah... I know, Captain. I'm sorry."

"You'd better be!" Ginyu scolds. "You're lucky that Lord Frieza has already left to hunt down one of those Namekians, or you'd surely have been punished by now!"

"Captain... why does he need a Namekian?" Burter asks, confused.

"Those Dragon Balls aren't working. Lord Frieza believes that he needs a Namekian to tell him what's wrong."

"What if... what if the legends about the Dragon Balls are fake? What if they can't grant wishes?"

Ginyu stares at Burter, a solemn expression on his face. "Then we leave the planet until he's cooled down. Lord Frieza has spent too much time, energy, and troops on this planet. If it fails, then we'll need to leave before he takes his anger out on us. His rage would be... unpleasant to go through."

The two fall silent for almost a minute, before Ginyu continues speaking.

"Jeice sure is taking his time... I didn't think he was so sadistic."

"Yeah... that was Guldo's thing. Maybe Jeice is dragging it out because they killed two other members of the Ginyu Force?" Burter suggests.

"Maybe..."

Ginyu's scouter suddenly shrieks a warning to him. He throws himself to the side, narrowly avoiding a flying kick from a long-haired man clad in orange clothing.

"What the--!" Ginyu begins, before being cut off as the stranger's fist impacts his chin, throwing the purple warrior backwards.

"Raditz?!" Burter says in surprise. "When... how... why are you so fast?!"

Raditz rolls his eyes, looking over his shoulder as another man arrives.

"You should be healed up enough to handle him." Raditz says, staring at the shorter man next to him.

"Hmph! Don't think that you can order me around just because you've temporarily surpassed me. As soon as I'm used to my new power, I'll get my revenge on you, scum." Vegeta says arrogantly.

"I'll take that as a 'yes sir, please don't kick my ass, Raditz sir.' Now go deal with Burter."

The Prince grits his teeth at Raditz's mocking tone, but silently obeys, turning towards the 'Fastest in the Universe.'

"Ha! You're having little Vegeta deal wit--" Burter is instantly cut off as Vegeta closes the distance, mercilessly hammering an elbow into the blue man's skull. Burter sees stars as he flies backwards, trying to utilize his incredible speed to avoid the infuriated Saiyan chasing him down.

Unfortunately for Burter, Vegeta was just beaten half to death, and has completely healed up from that beatdown. Due to his Saiyan biology, he's had a massive increase in power. Once Vegeta has time to get used to the strength he's gained from his recent Zenkai boost, he may even be able to rival Raditz...

But for now, Vegeta is fighting Burter, not our long-haired protagonist. The Saiyan Prince appears behind the blue warrior, moving far faster than Burter can see. A loud crack resounds throughout the area as Vegeta plants a fist in the taller man's spine, shattering it instantly. Burter flies forward, completely limp, before crashing into the ground hard enough to send a storm of dirt and dust into the air, blinding the remaining warriors.

Ginyu grins to himself as his scouter points out Raditz's location, although the purple man is momentarily shocked at the power level he sees. The last remaining member of the Ginyu Force spreads his arms wide as a light purple aura surrounds him.

"Change... now!"
