As they shook from the immense pressure, Oswald and Jack glared at Number Two. Although they could not see his face through his helmet, they were sure he had a mocking smile. Jack casted a strength buff on Oswald, right at that instant Oswald launched himself towards Number Two throwing a punch. Number Two grabbed Oswald’s fist and started crushing it. After a few seconds, Number Two threw Oswald towards Jack. Number Two was fast and Jack had no time to react and Oswald crashed right into him. With the two guys on the floor, Number Two approached them and delivered a kick towards Oswald sending him flying towards a building. Number Two then stepped on Jack's chest and started crushing it. Jack groaned in pain, while Oswald collected himself from the impact. Oswald ran towards Number Two and delivered a flying kick, which was effortlessly dodged by Number Two. Now that Jack was free he casted a healing spell on Oswald and himself. They clearly hear Number Two laughing and tauntingly motion for them to attack him. Oswald started to feel Number Two’s mana flow, but was unable to find anything he could exploit. Knowing that someone stronger would show up, Oswald decided to stall for time.
“Jack, give me more buffs!” Oswald said and a few moments later he could feel that Jack gave him Defense, Strength, and Speed buff. Jack was heavily panting.
“We fought so little, yet it doesn’t as you will last longer.” Two said.
Damn, Jack is about to collapse from exhaustion. It’s time to use mana to strike harder. Oswald's thoughts raced as he used mana to make his strikes harder. He quickly closed the gap and threw a punch at Two, but Two countered by throwing a punch himself and intercepting Oswald’s punch. The exchanged blows like this for a while, Oswald would punch and then Two would counter it with his own punch. Every strike Oswald would feel pain, but would get healed by Jack. After a couple of minutes Jack collapsed from using too much magic and so now Oswald had no support to heal or apply buffs. I won’t last much longer. I feel my arms will break soon. How much before help arrives? I’ll have to use mana in my whole body to amplify my power. I should also mimic Jack’s mana flow when he casted healing to try and heal myself.
“You’re doing better than expected. But how come you’re still at the same level as before your friend collapsed?” Two was dumbfounded about Oswald’s performance because according to his calculations the buffs that Jack had casted before fainting should have run out by now. Two became bored of exchanging blows, so he kicked Oswald in the ribs, which made him stagger and Two used this opportunity to unleash another attack. “Let’s see how you take a straight attack of Magical Energy.”
Two put his right hand up and pointed his palm towards Oswald and then a beam of energy was shot from his palm hitting Oswald point blank and leaving him on the ground. The effects of pushing his body beyond his limits by using mana could be felt by Oswald as he struggled to get up as he groaned in pain. Eventually, he managed to stand up and glared at Two. Oswald launched himself towards Two and delivered a powerful kick to his head and Two staggered back. After the attack, a big scratch could be spotted on Two’s helmet. Oswald could feel his body burn after pushing himself beyond his limits.
“How can you keep up? Your buffs have already worn off and I don’t detect you have used any Magical Energy. Unless you’re like him.” Two said as he clenched his fists remembering something unpleasant. “I also don’t feel any sort of Magic Energy or Magic Power coming from you. You really are like him, so I hope you can become more powerful. But that matter and this matter are different. Brace yourself.”
Two approached Oswald and started to unleash a barrage of attacks. Oswald could feel some of his bones break and started to scream from all the pain Two was inflicting, so he started to use his mana to increase his defenses. After a couple of minutes Oswald felt that soon he would collapse from exhaustion, his thoughts were interrupted by a flying shield that hit Two in the head, which caused number Two to step away from Oswald and Oswald collapsed to the ground barely conscious.

“You should stop that now.” Hannah’s commanding voice could be heard. She approached Oswald and sat down next to him and placed his head in her lap. Feeling a sense of comfort Oswald lost consciousness. “They haven’t done anything to you, Two. The students are all innocent.”
“Shouldn’t you be in the cafeteria?” Two asked. “What about Amy!? How is she?”
“Don’t worry, Amy is safe.” Hannah responded as she stroked Oswald’s head. “You should leave now. The Deus Family should have sent a unit that can defeat you. You should know how much Joseph cares for Oswald. You didn’t have to injure them.”
“That’s good if she gets hurt, I don’t know what Four would do to me.” Two replied. “Then I should be leaving now. Take good care of your little boyfriend, he is just like him. But he needs to be pushed to become stronger. But I finally can see hope of him completing my true goal.”
“What do you mean? Oswald would never side with a maniac like you.” Hannah asked.
“I sometimes forget, you were born in this world. You wouldn’t understand the helplessness we felt when confronting him. I still don’t know how your deceased parents and I were able to escape into this world. Until we meet again, Hannah.” Two replied in a caring tone as he left the area. After seeing Two disappear in the distance, Hannah now had an expression of understanding and sorrow. She then shifted her eyes towards Oswald and stroked his head.
“You dummy. You should’ve stayed in the cafeteria.” Hannah said in a gentle tone and kissed Oswald’s forehead. “I hate seeing you like this.”
Hannah then shifted her sight to Jack and concluded that he exhausted himself after seeing less injuries on him than Oswald. After a few minutes, Hannah heard people approaching them. When Hannah looked up, she saw some Holy Knights adorned in shining armor approaching. For a brief moment a hateful glare could be spotted from Hannah.
“I see some students over there. Let’s go.” One of the knights said and they quickly made their way towards Oswald, Hannah, and Jack. “Two severely injured students. Young lady, do you also need medical assistance?”
“No, I am fine. By the time I got here, the Ranker was gone.” Hannah hid the fact that she saw Two. “My friends need urgent assistance and should move quickly, the guy in my lap is Oswald Deus.”
“Then we must hurry, Joseph Deus’s son takes priority.” The knight ordered the other knights. He then used his phone to call for medical personnel to transport Oswald to the hospital.
“Those damn knights are all the same.” Hannah whispered to herself as she secretly glared at the Holy Knights. As Hannah was secretly cursing the Holy Knights, a handsome blond young man followed by a group of people approached them. The young man’s blue eyes began scanning Hannah as soon as he arrived.
“Ah, you must be Hannah. Oz talks about you quite a bit. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Leon Deus. Also, I am Oswald’s cousin. Nice to meet you Hannah!” Leon introduced himself.
“Nice to meet you too, Young Lord.” Hannah replied.
“You know, Leon is fine.” Leon said.
“How could I be so disrespectful towards the top candidate for the next head of the Deus Family.” Hannah responded.
“Fine, address me how you feel comfortable. Now, I’ll take care of Oswald from here. He must be taken to the hospital. His injuries can’t be treated with just healing magic.” Jack said as he signaled to someone. “I’ll also be taking care of Jack too, so don’t worry. We’ll be taking them to Saintess Amelia Hospital.”
Moments later Hannah could hear a helicopter approaching them. The helicopter descended and medical personnel quickly took Oswald and Jack away. Leon then approached the Holy Knights and started talking to them. After picking up her shield, Hannah began to head back towards Amy back at the cafeteria.
