“Hannah!” Oswald smiled upon seeing Hannah. She was wearing a white cashmere sweater, a gray skirt, black tights, and glossy black flats. He ran towards her and hugged her tightly. “I was worried about you. Did the monsters harm you?”

“You were in a more dangerous situation than us. Those monsters were weak. Oz, I was scared of losing you. I couldn’t do anything to try and help you. I could only kill monsters, hoping you and Leon would be victorious against that creature.” Hannah held tightly onto Oswald. “I love you, Oz!!”

“Hannah, thanks! I love you too!” Oswald gently kissed Hannah. He felt comfort from the warmth coming from her. He momentarily got lost in her soft lips. “I was so scared of dying; of not being able to see you or anyone else anymore. I held to any hope me and Leon could see and we managed to defeat the Abyss Creature.”

“I am glad everything worked out in the end.” Hannah said. She looked back and saw her friends awkwardly looking at her and Oswald. Hannah blushed. “Let’s get going. I can’t wait to eat. I am looking forward to the burgers.”

“Yeah, Westborough Burgers has the best ones.” Oswald looked past Hannah and noticed his friends. He began blushing. “Sorry, I didn’t notice you guys earlier.”

“It’s all good.” Jack replied. “Hannah is your girlfriend, so I bet you wanted to see her after that ordeal!”

“I would have done the same thing with my Jack.” Aurora said while hugging Jack’s left arm.

“I see, so that’s what dating is all about.” Selene said. “So I have friends now, is the next step being in a relationship?”

“Selene, you’re the oldest one in the group. Yet you sound so naive.” Amy said.

“I am not the oldest. Miss Aria is the oldest; she is hidden somewhere acting as Oz’s bodyguard.” Selene said.

“I guess you’re right. Oz is not like that, how come your understanding of relationships is lacking?” Amy was curious.

“We both may be from the Deus Family, yet I am a candidate for the Head of the Family. I have spent most of my time training and studying; you guys are my first friends!” Selene answered. “I am so happy today is my first time hanging out with friends.”

“That makes sense.” Amy responded.

“You’re telling me you never had friends!?” Hannah was surprised. “I mean Carmen has friends and she is also a candidate.”

“Nana, don’t say that. You’re going to make Selene feel bad.” Amay said.

“Why would I? He is my cousin and he works hard like everyone else. Just because he is Magicless doesn’t mean I will look down on him.” Selene said. “That’s why from our generation I only like Oz, Leo, and Cammy.”

“Is Cammy the nickname you gave Carmen?” Aurora asked. “It’s cute!”

“Yeah, Cammy is so cute, that’s why I chose that nickname.” Selene then looked at Oswald. “Oz, I am so jealous that Cammy is your little sister.”

“But she can be annoying sometimes, just kidding!” Oswald laughed. “Just hang out more with Carmen as her older cousin. I am sure she will appreciate it.”

“Let’s head in; I am starving!” Selene said as she began walking towards the burger place. As she walked Selene noticed the other shops around Westborough Square. “This will be my treat for you guys! I noticed a boba place; maybe we can go there another time.”

“That sounds like a good idea. See Selene, you're learning how to interact with friends!” Amy smiled. “If you have suggestions you can just send them on the group chat.”

“Can she see the other channels on the server? I have a bunch of recommended places on the food channel.” Aurora said, holding Jack’s hand and leading him into the building. “That boba place over there Gatos Te is quite good. I recommend the cinnamon milk tea. My sister and I get it all the time.”

Oswald and Hannah held hands as they observed their friends go inside.

“What are you going to order?” Oswald asked.

“I think a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a lemon soda.” Hannah answered. “I believe that the fries here are the best ones. And what are you getting?”

“A triple bacon cheeseburger with fries. For my drink I think a peach lemonade.” Oswald answered as he led Hannah into the building.

“That’s a lot of food, are you sure you have space for all of it?” Hannah questioned him as they approached their friends.

“I'm pretty hungry; I ate something light in the morning.” Oswald answered. They ordered their food and sat down.

“I am so nervous for next week. We are taking the Adventurer's License Exam and I don’t know how well I’ll be doing.” Jack sighed. “This will be our first time in a real dungeon.”

“It’s not that different from the artificial dungeon. I mean the teachers are going to be there to supervise the whole thing, so nothing serious will happen. Only some injuries if some of the students are not careful.” Selene said. “I took it last year; it wasn’t that bad. Although I was at Rosemary High and you guys are at Los Zapotes High, all the high schools around the are take the exam on the same day.”

“Great, there is a chance I might run into her.” Hannah said sarcastically.

“Is there someone you don’t like at Rosemary High?” Selene asked.

“Let’s just say that I have an ex-friend that attends Rosemary High.” Hannah answered as she clenched her fists.

“Nana, did you see the video of the Moon Unit that Miss Aria was piloting to fight against the Red Dragon?” Amy shifted the conversation.

“Yeah, she looked so cool. I had never seen one; they look fun to pilot.” Hannah said as her body relaxed. “I want to pilot one of them.”

“Maybe you will, Hannah. Your boyfriend is Dr. Hashimoto’s apprentice.” Jack said. “I bet she has access to the ones that were brought from Lunaria to Earth.”

“Wait, Aria pilotted a Moon Unit. Neither Granny Ayano nor Aria told me about it.” Oswald said. “Maybe for now I can ask if we can borrow Granny Ayano’s Moon Unit simulator. I have tried it before and it’s very fun.”

“How are the controls? Are they like how they depict them in mech cartoons? What kind of weapons? Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Hannah was excited to ask questions.

“Yeah, the controls are similar to the ones in the cartoons and graphic novels. They can have guns, cannons, and swords. I think even axes and other physical weapons. And I didn’t tell you sooner because it just never occurred to me, sorry.” Oswald answered Hannah’s questions. “

“ORDER NUMBER 45 IS READY!” A worker yelled.

“That’s us. Jack, let's get the food and drinks. Come on!” Aurora said as she got up. She grabbed Jack’s hand and they headed to get the food.

“Oz, after seeing you fight at the tournament, I want to spar against you. I want to see how I compare to you.” Amy said. “I want to experience the strength you showed. I want to see how you managed to accomplish that. If I want to improve myself and I want to learn as much as I can from sparring with you!”

“Let’s do it the Saturday before the exam, Amy!” Oswald said. “And then afterwards we can get something to drink or some snacks.”
