After a few hours of walking, Arlo and Joe finally entered the city.
They were previously stopped at the entrance of the city, however, after flashing the token he was given, they were both allowed to enter.
Since he could only see a radius of six meters around him, Arlo couldn't appreciate the city in its fullness.
They had already been walking for a while, however; they were yet to find what they were searching for.
The streets looked quite empty, with a few shops lined across the sides.
They would occasionally come across some people, however, Arlo could tell from their manner of dressing that the majority of them were maids and servants.
One thing they all had in common, was how they looked at Joe with undisguised lust. However, after identifying Arlo beside him, they all looked away in fear.
From the white color that streaked across their dark hair and their pale and beautiful appearances, Arlo could tell that they were all vampires.
"Hello!" A cute angelic voice pulled Arlo out of his thoughts.
Arlo and Joe both came to a sudden stop when the voice drifted into their ears.
A small girl of about ten years appeared before the two.
Dressed in a simple and plain light-red dress, the snow-white-haired girl smiled as she continued, "Hello! My name is Arianne. You guys seem to be lost. How about I be your guide?"
Even after a while, she didn't receive any response, as both boys seemed to be lost in her beauty.
'So beautiful…' Arlo thought, however, he quickly collected himself.
After spending the majority of his life with the most beautiful goddess he had ever seen-his mother, Arlo quickly regained his thoughts.
The same however could not be said about the last person among the trio.
Joe at some point had already turned into a statue.

Focusing his entire attention on that angelic yet devilish cute little face, Arlo could feel a tint of cold and indifference resting deep within her ruby eyes, even though she had a small smile adorning her face.
This was the first person to approach them after entering the city. Yet even though she seemed like a harmless little girl, Arlo decided to tread cautiously.
"Hi! The name is Arlo. We can take care of ourselves."
A small trace of disappointment flashed ever so briefly past the girl's face and as she was about to respond…
"My goddess!" A light whisper drifted into her pale ears.
From the beginning, she had her entire attention on Arlo, and it wasn't until now that she shifted her gaze to Joe.
When her eyes locked with that of Joe, he suddenly trembled and seemed to have been released from his frozen-like state.
"You are real!" He affirmed to no one in particular.
*Whoosh!*
Joe suddenly appeared beside Arianne and grabbed onto her small thigh as he voiced out:
"My goddess, please marry me. No, you must marry me!" His eyes flashed with resolve.
Arianne's body grew stiff as she felt Joe's touch.
When was the last time she was touched by a person outside her family?
Not to say this person was a boy.
Her body trembled slightly, as her face slowly looked down at the clutching Joe, only to find him looking back at her with undisguised love and affection.
"It is love at first sight!" He whispered slightly as if trying to convince her.
One of his hands sneakily moved up Arianne's thigh, inching close to her small perky butt.
A scarlet glow was lighting up from Arianne's eyes as she was about to break her act and smack the head of the little boy who dared to defile her into pieces...
It was at this moment that Arlo's annoyed voice drifted into her ears, stopping her and Joe's sneaking hand, "You idiot, she is a vampire!"
Joe didn't even take an instant to think as he immediately replied, "So what? My mum always told me to be direct and firm when I find the girl I love."
"Huh? Didn't you say your mother always told you women are the pitfall of men?" Arlo voiced out in confusion.
For the first time since Arianne's arrival, Joe turned to face Arlo as he screamed, "Don't you dare lie against my mother. She would never say such a thing!"
Arlo was stunned.
However, he gritted his teeth in anger as he moved toward Joe, and yanked him away from Arianne.
"You bastard you will get us killed…huh?" A familiar scent drifted into Arlo's nose.
'This fragrance. It is similar to that time.' Arlo raised his head and looked at Arianne in wonder.
"Let me go now! Don't you dare stand in the way of my love!"
He was pulled out of his thoughts by Joe's struggle.
"How about I be your guide?" Arianne asked once again.
She seemed to be asking Arlo however, her eyes were staring fixedly at Joe.
Looking up, Joe felt his body stiffen, and a chill ran down his spine as he locked eyes with her once more.
He felt deep fear to the point that he didn't dare to move.
As she gazed at Joe, a searing anger was hidden deep in her eyes as she already marked Joe to be dead in her mind.
This time, Arlo didn't answer immediately.
He was somewhat curious why he found her to be familiar when this was their first time meeting.
So after some deep thought, he finally answered, "Yes, please."
