Once the Lyre was safety docked next to the Love Boat, the crew came aboard and much to their discomfort, everyone stared at them. It wasn't because of Elise, Tito or Archibell, it was because the Cutepid had hung a sash of pink and red roses around Sincirce and Tony so everyone knew exactly who the lovebird were.
"Dis is horrible," Tony said, his wall eyes observing the gaping people. "They don't even know I'm an actual human 'bean. They think I'm dis woman's pet in love."
Sincirce squeezed Tony so tight that he nearly choked. "How do you think I feel about being stigmatized, you stinky sardine?"
"I'm not even stigmatized," Tony gasped. "I'm traumatized!"
"Well," Archibell said, patting both Tito and Elise on the head. "How about you two find the Diamond of Life so these poor kiddos don't need to see a real interspecies relationship."
"Interspeci...what?" Elise said, blinking her eyes innocently.
"Let's keep it that way, speckles," Tito laughed nervously.
Sincirce's diamond earrings glowed bright blue and pulsated loudly. "According to my pair of stylish trackers," she said, "The Diamond of Life is inside the boat! Let's hurry, get this rock and get outta here before I end up on the front page of The Celebrity Witch Hunt Monthly for loving a fish!"
They reached the side door of the boat and entered into a dark room filled with neon glowing hearts and incense. Elise nearly choked from the fumes. "She sells sea shells. What is that horrible smell?"
"It's love, kid!" Tony barked. "Get used to it."
"I had no idea love smelled like a bunch of stinky candles," Tito said, equally wincing.
The diamonds floating below Sincirce's ears began to pulsate at an even quicker rate. "Seems we're getting close," she said. They moved along the divider walls with heart shaped holes drilled in them. Elise peeked through them. There were a bunch of people gathered in one area, many of them sitting down, all watching something. What was going on, she thought.
The diamonds pulsated even louder as they weaved through the mazelike corridors. They were getting to the front of the room. People began to cheer and chant, causing Elise to grow even more concerned. This was the weirdest room she had ever been. Sincirce stuck her head through a heart shaped hole in the wall. "We are so close!" she exclaimed. "I can taste it!"
"You eat rocks?!" Tony demanded.

"Rock candy!" Sincirce winked. She held her hands to her face and gasped. "I think I see it!"
At the front of the room, there stood a man with a large handle bar mustache, a tuxedo and slicked back hair. He towered over a dainty and small brunette woman in a floral dress. The man got down on one knee and held out a box to the woman. "Darling Sophia," he said, in a buttery smooth voice, "It took months to book this ship, and it was even harder keeping this secret from you! You are ever the inquisitive one."
Sophia held her hands to her cheeks. "Oh my Raz, my Raz M. Taz! I think I know where this is going, but go ahead. You are predictable in the best of ways."
Raz waggled his eyebrows and mugged for the cameras, before he opened the box. "Sophia, will you marry me?"
The most miraculous diamond glinted on the top of a sterling silver ring. It glinted so beautifully that the crowd was immediately awestruck and began to clap. Elise could see the diamond reflecting in Sincirce's eyes and she cried, "Come to mommy!"
"Wait! Stop!" Tony barked. "You crazy witch!"
But it was too late, Sincirce already dashed out onto the stage screaming, "My diamond! My diamond!"
"I gots a migraine," Tony said, hiding his flipper in his face. "I didn't even know we fish could get one."
Elise couldn't stop watching though. It was like watching an especially disastrous boat crash. Sincirce ran out and decked Raz, while screaming, "My diamond!" as Sophia held her hands to her face and cried.
The people in the room all gasped, but some good Samaritans helped pull the unhinged witch off of the soon-to-be groom. Raz dusted himself off, "I say," he growled. "What gives?!"
"But before Sincirce could answer, Sophia demanded, "Dear, who is this woman?! And why does she want my ring?!"
"It's my diamond!" Sincirce growled. "It's mine! Not yours, you hussy!"
The crowd all gasped at Sincirce's harsh words. Sophia glared daggers at Raz. "Darling, are you seeing another woman, and didn't tell me?!"
Raz turned bright red and his mustache bristled. "Of course not, honey! I haven't seen this woman before in my life."
"Yes he has!" Sincirce shouted and the crowd gasped again. "He's seen me right now!"
"That doesn't count!" Raz shouted. "Now if someone would get security."
Two towering men in bright pink jumpsuits with swirling red and pink hearts broke from the crowd. Two more approached Elise, Tito, Tony and Archibell. "I don't know her…" Tony blabbered. "I've never seen dat crazy witch broad in my life!"
But it was to no avail. The crew of the Lyre soon found themselves ejected from the room and out on the back of the boat. Sincirce was hopping up and down angrily growling about her diamond.
"I don't want to be anywhere near her," Tony cried. "She's hopping mad!"
"I cannot believe the sheer nerve of those people!" Sincirce cried and with the sound of a wet fart, her cowlick turned grey. "Nooo!" she cried. "How will I ever break this couple up and get their ring before I grow old!"
Suddenly, a suave and accented voice accosted them. "So you want to break up Sophia and Raz too? Consider us partners een crime!"
A dapper man stood before them. Dressed in a white apron hanging over a pinstriped tuxedo and a chef's hat, the man gave a chuckle as he sucked on a lollypop. "The name's Dupree. Bunting Dupree!"
