Jason Lim is the leader of the Black Shooter Guild, a smart businessman before the Apocalypse or End of the world. Playing is just a stress reliever for him, but everything changes when the world he lives vanish. He is smart; he assesses a situation before doing things because he believes that one wrong move means death.
This world is a reality and everything shows death flag that's what he concludes. POBG is his new reality. If he were a reckless person, he might be dead by now.
Game points are the new world currency, and once again, he needs to rise from the bottom; all the money he gained is gone. But earning game points is very different from the old world; your life for game points and once you lose you die.
Jason Lim is not a strong or battle-oriented person; he is a businessman, and this is not the way he lives. He uses money to control those with strength and makes them battle for him. He is a controller, a predator in his own way. But all of those things are gone.
Jason Lim has no choice but to save his game points. Suddenly, he becomes a poor guy with only a few game points. He needs to come up with a plan to obtain them without risking death. Is battling the only way? and losing means death? That's too much of a sacrifice.
And then Game Hearts showed up days later. With the existence of Game Hearts, even losing means you will still be alive. But who knows, maybe it's just a trick of the world.
He regrets not using this chance – a day of free Game Hearts, the best opportunity to earn game points without risk. However, he did not trust the system, and that's his biggest blunder.
It's too late to realize that this is not just a trick but a chance for all of them. He is late to adapt, and the next day, Game Hearts are not free at all, which leaves him broke, especially since he died the first time he played. If this continues, he will truly die of starvation.
Jason Lim tried his best to survive and earn his game points, but he is just a weak player, a side character, and his life as a predator is gone. He is barely surviving in this world.
The POBG city emerges as a commomeration of thousands of games within POBG. This is a chance, yes, a chance for him to leach onto those predators, the top players of POBG. Well, that's how he begins his business – as a leach, a social climber among the rich.

But he failed; this is a game of death and life, different from the past world where, if you're smart, you can easily deceive those fat rich guys. He is just an average on this world.
"Average? This is not what my life should be—no, never! I should do something, anything... anything to reach the top again. Think! Think!! Think!!!" Jason Lim being average, that's not his way. Yes, his way of thinking leads him to a crazy solution... slavery.
His business plan is slavery. He notices the lawlessness and the vulnerability of women and children who are also trying to leach onto those top players like him. They are the most easy to control.
But he has no power or people; he needs someone, at least one, who could help him. And then he saw a past acquaintance, Black Rock, the leader of the Black Shooter Gang. He knows them since he saw them work on a certain rich person; they are just like him, leaches of those predators.
"Ah, what do we have here... Jason Lim, the lapdog of the rich," sneers Black Rock.
"We're cut from the same cloth," Jason Lim declared.
"What?!" Black Rock roared, his intensity filling the air.
"This isn't the time for fighting....," Jason Lim stated, his tone unwavering. "How about we join forces?"
"Hahahahah," Black Rock's laughter echoed, resonating with his gang mates.
"You and me? What can you even do?" Black Rock challenged, skepticism lacing his words.
"I'll leverage your strength, and in return, I'll impart knowledge. How does that sound? A fair trade," Jason Lim proposed.
"I don't need your knowledge tskk, man. Let's go!" Black Rock declared, signaling his gang to depart.
"Do you crave power, richness, glory?" Jason Lim asked, standing his ground as Black Rock's group departed.
"How could you even give that to me?" Black Rock inquired, bringing his group to a halt.
Jason Lim smiled; his plan was in motion. He seized control of the Black Shooter Gang and established a guild. He initiated his dark business plan, a scheme to enslave POBG players for their own gain.
It's easy to control children and women; instilling fear ensures they have no choice but to follow and be manipulated into working and paying Game points. Escape is impossible since they ensure compliance by holding someone important hostage.
And now, with Lee Minseo captured, the strongest solo player, and Amy and Josh as hostages in their hands, they can easily control him. While Amy is a good worker of Black Shooter Guild, they only need one hostage, and Josh, being young and easily confined, serves as the ideal captive.
This marks the beginning of Jason Lim ascent to the top, where he reclaim his role as a predator, returning to where he belongs.
