It was truly foolish for him to let this bunch of kids join his battle. Winning wasn't a problem for him; it just made Lee Minseo's task harder as he had to protect them while facing other player teams. Nevertheless, he still succeeded. Fortunately, Steven, the American, proved to be a skilled but he is an aggressive fighter.
Josh, the young boy, showcased excellent sniper skills despite not being able to carry a gun properly well he is just a child. Amy, the girl, was the weakest link, but she at least knew how to handle a gun. In the end, it was a crazy combination of people that somehow worked.
It wasn't truly worth it; he only gained 500 points for winning, a far cry from the 2000 he gets when playing solo. However, Lee Minseo found a silver lining, smiling as he witnessed his comrades' joy over their first victory, as if its their first win.
Despite winning numerous battles, this one seemed to bring him the most happiness. It made him realize he had the emotions of a human, dispelling the notion that he was a merciless monster everyone feared.
The top solo player, Lee Minseo, earning himself the title "the Lone Hunter." Ironically, he starts playing in a team which contradicts his title. But still he maintained the lone hunter persona by carrying his squad a lot of times. The squad's rankings fluctuated daily, thanks to Lee Minseo's unstoppable group, leaving a trail of victories in their wake.
"Mister MinSeo, why do you play solo a lot?" Amy asked. After a successful battle, they decided to rest in an inn at the POBG city. "Hmmmm.... it's for a person," Minseo replied. "Ohhhh, a girlfriend?" Steven excitedly interjected. "Hahah no... a savior of mine, an important person," Minseo laughed, but his eyes betrayed a deep sadness, casting an awkward pall over their conversation.
"Then why solo, for what?" Amy tried to bring back the conversation. Minseo looked at Amy seriously, reluctant to continue but sensing the need to share the burden he carried alone.
"I need game points... a lot of them. I need to give back what is not mine... (my life)." His voice cracked, and he stopped short, almost revealing that his life wasn't truly his. She had saved him, sacrificing her own life when he had done nothing at all.

"You know what, let's go rest at our house now," Josh suggested, feeling the deafening silence. "Yes, right," Steven tried to inject positivity. "Mister, we will go now. Thank you for this day again," Amy expressed gratitude, the seriousness of their conversation urging them to leave. And so, they decided to head back, planning to battle squads again tomorrow.
As the group made their way back to their own house, a somber atmosphere lingered. The weight of Minseo's revelation about playing solo for someone important hung in the air. Amy, Josh, and Steven exchanged glances, each contemplating the gravity of their comrade's words. It seems Lee Minseo did not want to talk about.
Just how serious is this revelation that Lee Minseo did not want to talk about? Amy, Josh, and Steven wondered. But, oh well, if he can't say it, they won't press the matter further.
The day arrived swiftly. Lee Minseo stood at their meeting place near an unmanned building in POBG City, noticing that they were unusually late. Suddenly, he saw Steven rushing towards him, urgently waving and shouting, "Mister!! Hide!!" Gunshots echoed from Steven's direction. Lee Minseo quickly drew his gun, a sense of urgency and confusion gripping the moment. What was happening?
Steven grabbed Lee Minseo, hastily pulling him inside the unmanned building for cover. "What's happening?!" Gunshots echoed from outside, signaling the presence of enemies. "They...huff...came...they...huff," Steven panted, having just run. "Who came?!" Lee Minseo questioned, defending and firing back at the unknown assailants.
"They...took...Amy and Josh!!!" Steven exclaimed, his distress evident. "Amy and Josh? Why? Who?" Lee Minseo asked, attempting to defend against the relentless gunfire that seemed unending.
"It's the Black Shooter Guild!!!! Those [expletive]!!!" Steven cried out, his distress turning to anger and tears. "Amy... Josh..." he muttered. "Damn it!!!" Lee Minseo exclaimed, realizing the gravity of the situation as the relentless onslaught from the Black Shooter Guild showed no sign of letting up.
Then Steven took out his gun and started firing like a madman, yelling, "Ahhhhhh!!!!!!" However, he was instantly killed. "Mister, save them..." His body vanished, meaning his game hearts was lost and his still alive.
But why were the Black Shooter Guild firing at them? Why did they take Amy and Josh? Lee Minseo couldn't comprehend how his life had turned into a true hell. Nonetheless, he was determined not to fail...not again; he needed to save them.
