Chapter 18: The Chief Promise; Uniting the Goblins

It's been a few days since I arrived here. Many changes have taken place in the Goblin town; the food supply is now sufficient for all the Goblins. I've also assigned Goblins to work on various buildings with the same contract as in my original town. Perhaps in a few more days, this town can begin functioning without my presence.

I sent Zelut back to my base to inform my people that I am safe here. Everything appeared to be working well... or so I thought.

Meanwhile, a player named Mark2008

Hmmm, it's been days since I last attacked this base. It seems like there are some new buildings. Oh well, I've built a strong army over the past week. This time, I will aim for a 3-star victory.' Attack now.

A bell rang while I was sitting in my room; it was nighttime. Many Goblins were in a state of panic. Goblin soldiers began to gather, while the regular Goblins hurried to their houses, securing them tightly. I couldn't help but wonder, just what was happening?

A Goblin soldier with whom I had a strained relationship suddenly attacked me, but I managed to successfully dodge the attack. The Goblin Soldier exclaimed, 'You said you wouldn't attack us?! What is this!?!?'

"Wait, wait, wait! There seems to be a misunderstanding," I exclaimed. "I did not attack you. Look, I am here. And why would I attack you?"

The Goblin leaders also gathered there. "He is not the one who is attacking us," the leader stated. "Then who is the one who is attacking us again and again?" The soldiers asked.

"It's him," said the Goblin leader while pointing up at the sky. A figure was visible, though somewhat blurry due to the clouds and glitches. It was indeed a guy. I couldn't believe it—another player? How? Why?"

I always thought that there was a possibility that with realitization, the different world's bases would be connected to ours. This Goblin town has a Castle Hall level 6. When playing Goblin Attack, there will be the same Castle Hall level. However, I was surprised to find that it was still Castle Hall level 6, not level 9, despite my base being Castle level 9. I thought this is just coincidence.

But now I understand that this base is not the Goblin town I was attacking consecutively, but rather another Goblin base. The other player should be the only one who can attack this base. and have access to this base.

But with the realitization that worlds are now connected, there's even a possibility that player bases are connected as well. It's becoming increasingly like one world, one universe per game, and everything is starting to blend with reality. This has transformed into an open-world game, where you can create a base whenever you want and even capture a base to make it your own.

It's no longer just an ordinary attack and defend game, but a literal attack and defend the base. Now, I declare that I own this base, and I will defend it with all my heart.

"I know I might just be a visitor here, but my promise still stands to this day," I said. "And I want to help all of you so, trust me again, and I will make sure your base won't experience the past disaster again."

"You are now our master, and we will serve you with all our hearts," the Goblin leader declared. He knelt, and not just him, but the other soldiers followed suit. Goblins who had hidden in their houses also emerged and started to kneel. Other Goblins also joined in, saying, "You are now our master; we will serve you with all our hearts."

A loud cheer erupted from the side of the Goblins, resonating throughout the entire base.
