The relentless waves of enemy troops charging seemed never-ending. At this point, it wouldn't be surprising if the maximum deployment limit function on the game for each attack is gone, as there appeared to be more than thousands of Barbarians in the relentless assault.
There are 100,000 Goblins on our side, but only 1% of them or about 1,000 are true soldiers. The situation is undeniably dire, and it's a challenging decision to make. If I make an all-out attack it will result in significant casualties among the Goblins. I am doing my best to minimize the death but is there no other choice....
The goblins are waiting for my instructions, both combatants and non-combatants. The former Goblin leader called out, "Chief, we are waiting for your commands. We are ready to sacrifice ourselves to defend our town." The other goblins also agreed, creating a loud chant. Am I overthinking too much?
"I know I said I will defend and protect the town, as well as its people," I said loudly.
"I do my best to minimize the deaths, but we are now on our final stand. I can't completely prevent death and there would be need of sacrifices, but we will not stand down!! We will not fail again, ever!! This will be our fight!!"
"After this day, no deaths will happen to goblins ever again!! Are you ready, Goblins!!?" I exclaimed.
"Yes, Chief!!" the goblins shouted.
"For our town!!! Attack!!!" I declared.
Together with all the goblins and me leading the battle, we charged at the attacking soldiers. I commanded the Goblin Giants from afar to charge to the giants as well. The agile goblins who had retreated also joined the battle; I assigned them to an another task. The remaining soldiers and goblins continued to charge into the field.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
As we surged forward, the clash of swords and the roars of goblins and soldiers alike filled the air. The battlefield became a whirlwind of chaos. I, at the forefront, summoned my magical prowess, conjuring fiery orbs with destructive energy. With a mighty leap, I propelled myself forward, releasing the flaming projectiles in a torrent towards the Hero leading the enemy forces.
In that critical moment, the Hero's resilience shone. He raised his shield, and as the fireballs collided with it, an explosion of searing flames erupted, creating a blazing inferno that pushed back its advance.
Our agile goblins, having regrouped, launched a swift and unexpected assault from the flanks, diverting the Enemy's attention. The remaining goblins pressed on, determined to break through the fiery obstacle and bring an end to the tyranny that had plagued there town for so long. The battle raged on, a testament to our unwavering resolve.
I found myself locked in a one-on-one duel against the Hero, who seemed determined to target me. With his shield raised, he charged toward me with incredible force. Desperately, I attempted to conjure a powerful magic spell to halt his advance, but I was too late. His charge overwhelmed me, sending me hurtling through the air with tremendous force.
Once more, I watched as the Hero charged at me, this time with his sword raised. Anticipating his deadly strike even with pain on the body, I swiftly rose to my feet using my wind magic. Then, I unleashed a clever spell of grease magic, causing the ground beneath him to become slippery and treacherous. The Hero lost his balance, stumbling and falling to the ground. Seizing the opportunity, I summoned a blazing magic fireball and launched it towards him.
As the flames from my magic fireball singed his armor, it became evident that it wasn't enough to defeat him. With astonishing speed, the Hero swiftly rose to his feet, extinguishing the burning parts of his armor. His determination remained unbroken, and he prepared to launch another assault, his eyes fixed firmly on me.
This is getting hard I don't know how long would I last on this battle...
